123 Iron Man is born
The night passed quickly, and it was about to decide the time to decide the fate. However, the progress bar on the computer was still walking slowly, and sweat beads appeared on Tony and Ethan's heads at the same time.
"They are here." Ethan's trembling voice just finished, and there was a light sound outside the prison door. Two routine inspection guards tried to come in and examine it, which triggered Tony's pre-set mechanism. With a huge roar, the rolling flames pushed their bodies far away with the hot air waves, falling back to the ground one after another like two discarded rag dolls.
The gangsters in the surveillance room saw that the screen turned into snowflakes, and when they heard the movement inside, they immediately picked up their weapons and rushed out like ants that had exploded in a nest.
"There is not enough time, I'll fight for more time." Hearing the dense footsteps approaching from afar, Ethan picked up the gun thrown by the guard and looked outside.
"As planned, Ethan." Tony had just put on his armor and the driver had not yet fully completed the progress. When he saw Ethan running out desperately, he shouted quickly, but he did not get a reply. Ethan's footsteps were covered by gunfire, and then the sound became farther and farther.
Now Tony can only rely on himself. In the anxious waiting, the progress finally came to an end. As the driver took effect, the light disappeared for a second, and then the reactor lit up again in the dark cell.
Putting down his mask, Tony couldn't wait to rush out. He was worried that the brave man would encounter misfortune. Thinking of the kindness and friendship these days, he became more and more anxious. He kept knocking down the roadblocker along the way. Finally, at the entrance of the cave, he saw Ethan lying on the ground and talking to a stranger.
"Ethan, you should do as planned." Tony rushed over and flipped Ethan's physical examination. He felt relieved when he found that there was no problem.
"Be gentle Tony, you have to know that the plan cannot prevent accidents." Ethan's legs were a little weak after being frightened. However, Tony's reckless movements made his bones hurt. He just shot the sky and drove the bandits out. When he reached the entrance of the cave, he was surrounded by enemies. He thought he was going to lose his life, but he didn't expect a man to come in from outside to save him.
"It's this gentleman. He actually stopped the bullets shot at me. Tony, you don't know how magical that scene is. If you see it, you will jump up in fear. It took him only a second to make Newton's mechanics theorem unsuitable." Ethan pointed to the savior, and the man turned slightly. With the light passing through the hole, Tony recognized the person. Thinking of his identity, he suddenly relaxed.
Thanks to Obadai, he finally did not forget his old friend - Tony thought silently. He knew about Eric and Exploring Aerospace Agreement, and also knew about some things Obadai had done in private, but he never said it explicitly. Compared to those he thought were precious, Tony Stark was not very concerned about these external things.
"What's your name, Eric, or Arica. I remember we met once, and I thought about where I was... I remembered that at the Vanity Fair anniversary party, you were the reporter who followed me to interview. So you came to ask me for an interview?" Tony tapped his fingers on his head, and the metal shell made two muffled sounds. He pretended not to remember where he had met Eric, deliberately trying to confuse his origin. This was from the reserve of the playboy. In fact, Eric regarded this as an immature expression, so he smiled.
"At the Osborne cocktail party," Eric smiled, and then teased the pretender. "Mr. Stark. Every time you see you, you have a different identity. The first time was by the small river in Westchester. That time you were a wandering painter who chatted with strange women. At the last cocktail party, you were an angel investor who cared about the growth of artists of the opposite sex. What was this time? Silicon-based creatures from outer space, under the guidance of fate, deliberately crossed the distant Milky Way to rescue half of the Earth's population?"
"It's 100% ridiculous. I never care about art." Tony couldn't hold back his face and flatly denied what had happened. "As for today, I'm actually experiencing the exotic style described in a thousand and one night. Outside it is just an extra actor I invited. Although these guys have poor acting skills, I want to say that they are still willing to work hard."
"Including this?" Eric pointed to his chest, the famous first-generation reactor was staying in its most suitable position.
"Of course." Tony insisted.
"Okay, it's up to you." Eric smiled. At this time, Ethan had recovered his strength and got up from the ground. He originally wanted to continue to defend himself with the scary gun, but he looked at Eric and Tony, as well as the criminals outside who were clamoring wildly but did not dare to rush in to take risks, so he put the limited power of the steel weapon back.
"Peper asked me to come here to find you. Now that the task has been completed, I would like to ask Mr. Stark, if you have enjoyed your fun at this time, someone is waiting for your news six thousand and two hundred miles away."
"Peper?" Tony repeated the name that seemed to have a fragrant breath. Although he often missed the woman who had been with him for a long time these days, he was still a little surprised when he heard the name.
What followed was a faint resentment.
"Not Obadai?" he strengthened his tone. "Not your loyal ally?"
For his question, Eric responded with a faint smile and understood the pity inside. Tony's broad forehead quickly shrouded a layer of haze, but he didn't want to show it in front of Eric, so he pretended that those annoying things did not exist.
"Poor Pepper, I don't know how much effort I had to invite this guy. Fortunately, I can use him now." The anger dissipated, replaced by sweetness and gratitude. Tony subconsciously touched his heart. There were many gadgets in the fragile body under the steel armor that needed help to clean up. He didn't say more, and whispered to himself in a subtle tone that was indistinguishable, and then looked up and raised his voice.
"Great, I want to give you a good review!" Stark clapped his hands, as if expressing encouragement. "I will ask Miss Potts to write you a check when I go back, and I believe Stark's generosity can be perfectly expressed through a series of 0s after the first number."
"No need, she promised to give me a better reward." Eric smiled slightly.
"What is it?" Tony asked.
"A kiss, is it OK?" Eric's words almost made Tony choke in anger, and it took him a while to react.
"Fantasy is immoral." Stark's counterattack immediately followed, and now he completely left the fragments behind his body.
"So can you meet my requirements?" Eric asked tightly.
"For Tony Stark, the money problem is not a problem-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What about a man's fate?" He pointed, but Tony didn't care.
"Since my father left me, I have only cared about the rib God took from us." He raised his head proudly, and Tony proudly raised his beautiful mustache.
"Then there is no problem, Mr. Stark, good luck." Eric gave him a path beyond the cave. Now Iron Man can finally show his skills.
The bandits outside were already on high alert, and the situation inside was unclear. They did not dare to rush in, so they set up shoulder-mounted missiles and machine gun positions outside. Now they saw a tin man walking out of the cave. These professional villains who were murderous were not surprised and immediately fired the ammunition.
The dust and smoke rolled in the earth-shaking explosion, the ground was shaking constantly, and the smoke had not yet dissipated, the iron man walked out of the fire that had not completely retreated.
The bandits were stunned and spoke their dialects in a dreamlike way. Before they could react, Tony arched his body slightly and pointed the two tubes behind the steel arms at them.
"It's my place," he said, and two flames gushed out, burning the bandits to their peaks, throwing their weapons and crying and fleeing in all directions.
"Don't you go and help him?" The moment when he rushed out to help Tony buy time was the bravest time in Ethan's life, but after the crisis, his courage quickly fell back. Now he was secretly hiding behind Eric and looking outside. In his opinion, although the iron armor was powerful, it was made of shoddy after all. Ethan was very worried that Tony would suddenly encounter trouble and be taken advantage of the opportunity to find it.
"Don't worry." Eric glanced at a corner of the cave, where there was a figure trying to raise his weapons to their backs. "This is his wonderful moment, we just need to smile and look at it."
There was a certain chill in his smile, and the bald commander in the corner shuddered, so he fell back, and now they were able to watch Tony's performance without interruption.
Two orange-red fire lines passed through the air and spread rapidly with the wind. There was no warehouse built in this arid and rainy place. A large number of arms produced by Stark were piled up directly under the shed woven from animal leather not far away.
The flames fell on the arms box, and the fire became bigger and bigger. The orange-red fire line on it was still ejecting like a storm. The fireball jumped from one place to another, and finally formed a scorching ocean with a high temperature of nearly a thousand degrees.
The explosion was overwhelming, and red waves rose from time to time in the sea of fire. Whenever this wonder appeared once, Tony felt that the shame in his heart disappeared. The bandits were unwilling to fail. Some people had already run away, but now they turned back and used their heavy weapons to shoot at him wildly. For a moment, the majestic Iron Man was suppressed. His fragile leg joint was injured. Tony bent down with an attack and pulled it several times before he could restore his function.
At this moment, the largest wave of ammunition exploded began, and the earth shook violently, as if a demon was about to emerge from the magma in the heart of the earth. Stepping on the dazzling flames and thick black smoke, Tony barely avoided the explosion center and rose to the sky. In the air, this simple steel armor finally completed its short life, and fell from the sky with his panicked master and his own wreckage.
The ground was spinning rapidly, getting closer and closer to Tony, and a force held him in a scream.
"Have you had fun?" Eric slowly withdrew his hand and Tony returned to the ground.
