Chapter 626 Don't know who lied to whom?
Shi Zhongkui smiled and gave the wine jar to Sun Wukong, while the monkey drank heavily.
I silently thought to myself that Sun Wukong was not willing to surrender to Western religion completely. In fact, this was not a surprise.
Despite what Sun Wukong said at the time, he still couldn't change his unruly temper after he got out of trouble, otherwise Nanhai Bodhisattva wouldn't have scolded him for being 'disobedient'.
It wasn't until Tang Monk tricked him into putting on a tight band and listened to the advice of Ao Guang, the Dragon King of the East China Sea, that he realized that if he didn't have a decent background and backing, he would still be just a wild fairy from now on.
Only then did he feel at ease to protect Tang Seng as he headed west, but along the way, the monkey and Tang Seng always disliked each other.
Tang Monk disliked Sun Wukong for being disobedient, loving to cause trouble, and having no way to take the road, so he insisted on venturing into the wilderness.
As a result, he was caught by the demon every three days.
Sun Wukong also looked down upon Tang Seng, who was selfish, cowardly, nagging, and didn't take any care at all. He always shifted the responsibility to others when something went wrong, and he cried easily.
But Sun Wukong is willing to protect Tang Monk on his journey to the west, which actually shows that Sun Wukong has indeed matured after being suppressed for 500 years.
In other words, it is still tamed.
This kind of taming does not mean that he must surrender to Western religion.
Rather, it means that Sun Wukong understands that he alone cannot challenge the rules of the entire world of gods and Buddhas.
When he was deceived into wearing a tightening curse, the monkey really wanted to kill Tang Seng at first.
Therefore, Shi Zhongkui is naturally willing to leave a knot in Sun Wukong's heart. Even if he becomes a Buddha in the future, he will not be a thug of Western religions wholeheartedly.
After drinking the wine from the jar, Sun Wukong laughed loudly and said, "It's refreshing, I haven't been as happy as today in many years!"
After saying that, he looked at Shi Zhongkui and said, "Thank you dear brother for sending me the wine, and thank you dear brother for visiting my grandson. From now on, if you need anything, please just come to me."
Shi Zhongkui nodded and hurriedly changed the topic to avoid being overheard by Wufang Jiedi and others who were following him.
"After my elder brother achieves positive results, my younger brother will naturally bother him a lot."
These words serve as a reminder to Sun Wukong that he still needs to be patient.
Sun Wukong naturally understood, and looked at Tang Monk who looked puzzled with a smile, "Is the elder sent by the 'King' of the East to go to the West to obtain scriptures?"
Shi Zhongkui almost laughed when he heard the monkey say "King of the Mountain". Probably in Sun Wukong's eyes, no matter whether you are an emperor or a king, you are the same as the "King of the Mountain".
Tang Monk knew that the topic was coming, and nodded quickly, "The poor monk is the person appointed by Emperor Tang to learn scriptures. Why does the monkey ask like this?"
When Sun Wukong heard that Tang Monk did not mention Bodhisattva and Buddha, he secretly wondered whether the Human Emperor was more important than Buddha.
He looked at Shi Zhongkui again and saw that he was just smiling. He immediately felt that this monk must have been tricked by someone and he didn't know it yet.
Rolling his eyes, Jiu Zhen continued with a fake smile, "I am the Monkey King who caused havoc in the Heavenly Palace five hundred years ago. I was imprisoned here by the Buddha because I committed the crime of lying.
In the previous chapter, there was a Guanyin Bodhisattva who, following the instructions of the Buddha, went to the east to find a Buddhist scripture collector.
I taught her to save me, but she advised me not to do evil again, to take refuge in Buddhism as soon as possible, to protect Buddhist pilgrims with all my heart, and to go to the west to worship Buddha. It will be beneficial if I succeed.
Therefore, I am alert day and night, waiting for Master to come and rescue me. I am willing to be your disciple and help you learn the scriptures."
When Tang Monk heard this, his heart was filled with joy.
Since this divine monkey is worthy of being a brother to adults, he must also be a person with extraordinary abilities.
And with this relationship, if you encounter trouble in the future, you only need to ask the monkey god to go to the heaven to invite the adults. Not only will you get help from the adults, but you will also get the help of soldiers and horses under the adults' account.
Furthermore, the Bodhisattva personally invites you, and you may be able to get help from the Buddhist family.
What this apprentice charges is very cost-effective no matter how you calculate it.
He hurriedly said, "Although you have such a kind heart and have been taught by the Bodhisattva, you are willing to enter the Samana. However, I have no axe. If I want to save you, I have to ask for help."
Shi Zhongkui rolled his eyes at Tang Seng. Although his kid was smart and sometimes very shady, he still lacked social experience.
I actually didn't hear the hint from Sun Wukong's words, "The Bodhisattva advises me not to do evil again."
Sun Wukong looked at Tang Monk in surprise, and then at Shi Zhongkui who was smiling.
He secretly thought that this monk was really stupid, and it seemed that he had been deceived by his wise brother. Otherwise, he would not call his wise brother "donor" as a monk, but would address him as an adult.
Not a nerd or something?
"You don't need to take action, dear brother, and you don't need to use an axe. You just go to the top of the mountain and peel off the golden seal of Tathagata, and I, the old Sun, will naturally be able to get out of trouble."
Tang Monk hurriedly looked at Shi Zhongkui for confirmation. Shi Zhongkui nodded with a smile and said, "Don't worry, little elder, this brother can carry mountains on his shoulders and tear apart bears and tigers with his hands.
If he hadn't checked for a moment, how could a mere Five Elements Mountain not trap him?"
When these words were said, the Five Directions in the Heaven were furious and asked Tang Seng to peel off Tathagata's golden seal, in order to tell Tang Seng that no matter how powerful Sun Wukong was, he could not compete with the Buddha's golden seal.
But Shi Zhongkui just said, "I won't investigate for a while," and everyone could tell that the Buddha was using shady means.
After listening to this, Tang Seng's eyes really flickered.
He begged Shi Zhongkui and said, "Sir, this young monk has a mortal body and cannot travel long distances or climb high mountains. I would like to ask you to accompany this young monk for a walk."
Naturally, Shi Zhongkui would not refuse. He had long wanted to see the Buddha's golden post.
If I could tell something, if I were to be trapped in the future, I would at least have a better chance of escaping than Sun Wukong.
The two of them went up the mountain. Shi Zhongkui saw that Tang Monk was really struggling to climb, so he secretly released some spiritual energy to help him.
Tang Monk suddenly felt that his legs were like wind and he could climb the mountain effortlessly, and he was even more looking forward to practicing.
Not long after I arrived at the top of Five Elements Mountain, I saw thousands of golden lights and thousands of auspicious auras.
There is a large square stone pressed down like a weight. There is a envelope affixed to the stone, but it has six golden characters: "OM, MA, NE, BA, MI, HUNG".
Tang Monk approached and knelt down, looked at the stone, looked at the golden characters, and bowed several times.
Then he looked to the west and prayed: "My disciple Tang Sanzang, I was specifically asked to seek the scriptures. As a disciple, I uncovered the golden characters, rescued the sacred monkey, and attained Lingshan together."
If there is no distinction between disciples, this person is a vicious and stubborn monster. If he tries to win over disciples, he will not be able to expose himself unless he is successful."
Shi Zhongkui took the opportunity to examine the gold sticker carefully, and this look really gave him some clues.
After all, Taishang Laojun has the status of a Taiqing Saint. He cannot reach the level of a Saint, but he is still a real quasi-Saint.
It is no lower than the cultivation level of Tathagata Tathagata in the West.
If it comes from true knowledge and experience, it will definitely be better than before.
With the five hundred years of teachings from Laojun, Shi Zhongkui often eats the ‘zhuguo’ from the space farm.
This fruit can not only increase your comprehension ability a hundred times, but also cleanse your marrow and improve your qualifications.
Over the past five hundred years, Shi Zhongkui's talent has been transformed into something extraordinary.
Otherwise, no matter how profound his merits are, it is impossible to catch up with Yang Jian's cultivation level in five hundred years.
