Chapter 605 Inheritance
There are generally two methods of inheritance for kings, one is merit and the other is hereditary.?
?b?i q?u?My deed refers to merit, and virtue refers to character. The former is like Tang, the Wu Revolution, Emperor Gaozu of Han punished and eliminated the tyrannical Qin, Emperor Taizu of Ming restored the rivers and mountains, and Emperor Gaozu of Tang rebelled against the tyranny of Sui, although he had similar nature, he was used to the trick of usurping the throne in the name of abdication since the Southern and Northern Dynasties. He did not know how to imitate Shang Tang and King Wu of Zhou, but instead learned from Cao Pi and Sima Yan. Although he was not very clever, fortunately, the facts were all there, and Emperor Gaozu of Tang was naturally not comparable to those of usurpers.
One person said that in history, there are many good people with long lifespans and few good people with short lifespans, which is nothing more than the meaning of success and defeat. This is really the cause of the consequences. Putting the cart before the horse is turned on. I don’t know that the length of the lifespan of the dynasty is chosen by people. ‘Man can promote the Tao, but not the Tao can promote people’. There are many good people with good people, and the luck of the dynasty will naturally grow. On the contrary, foxes and rats are in power and are in chaos. Can dynasties grow? In turn, I suspect that the records in history books are biased, and such intellectual skills cannot be trusted easily.
The latter refers to abdication. Confucianism praises Yao and Shun, and is abdication. In fact, from the actual situation at that time, abdication is just a temporary measure and is difficult to last for a long time. Tang Yao was in trouble with disasters, and there were ten days to burn Hejia. Tang Yao's son Danzhu and Yu Shun's son Shangjun all lacked virtue and talent and could not be competent for the position of leadership. Therefore, Yao and Shun had the action of selecting wise men.
However, it is difficult to spread the wise. The ancients said that Shang Tang was only hundreds of years after Xia Yu, and Zhou Wen only hundreds of years after Shang Tang. It is impossible for the throne to wait for a sage to teach.
Therefore, more often, the hereditary method is used. Herds also have brothers to endure brothers and inherit the father's business with their sons. The advantage of the former is that it can ensure that all successors are adults with political experience. The Shang Dynasty used two methods alternately. When there are no brothers, they will pass on their sons. However, when the brothers die, they will pass the throne to their sons. This is not guaranteed.
The authority of the throne in later generations was greater than responsibility, so competition often occurred. Once the inheritance method was incorrect, civil strife would occur, which was common in history. After the Zhou Dynasty, it became a son and inherited his father's business. Empress Dou of Emperor Wen of Han favored his youngest son, King Liang, and wanted Emperor Jing to pass the throne to him. The ministers did not agree with it. It can be seen that the father passed on his son had become a deeply rooted concept at that time.
In the hereditary system, there is a tradition of the eldest son succeeding the throne. This is all about fixing the inheritance method so that other princes have no loopholes to exploit. However, in this way, there are no questions about the prince's character and insufficient intelligence. For example, Emperor Hui of Jin, there are more stupid and violent people, and there are many in the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Sometimes, for the convenience of manipulation, the empress dowager and powerful ministers deliberately established a young emperor, like seven or eight small emperors in a row in the evening of the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is inevitable that the power will fall.
In addition, there is a way of teaching masters and apprentices, which is popular among religious gangs, which can be said to be abdication and hereditary integration into one.
Although the master and apprentice teaching and receiving are not related by blood, they have inherited skills. Since ancient times, "Heaven, Earth, Lord, and Master and apprentice are like father and son", and the relationship is also very close. Abdication is based on virtue and talent, and successors of the robe and bowl also value skills. This method is very common among monks and Taoists.
The Yin-Yang family has the saying that the five virtues are the end of the world, which is a method of inheritance. As the assistants of the Jade Emperor, the Four Emperors are qualified to inherit the Heavenly Emperor. The Emperor Qinghua of Dongji should be the first candidate. Although the lifespan of the gods has been extended, the Jade Emperor has the Queen Mother's Peaches and Laojun's Immortal Pills to offer, and there is no problem living for tens of thousands of years. Buddhism also has Maitreya Buddha as the heir of the Tathagata, and Maitreya Buddha is also known as the Donglai Buddha. It can be seen that according to the order of Yin-Yang and Five Virtues, the Emperor Qinghua is indeed the most qualified to inherit the position of the Heavenly Emperor.
Now that he is excluded from the Four Emperors, he has lost the qualification to assist him, and he may not be able to succeed him.
The Great Emperor of Antarctica was the eldest son of Yuanshi Tianzun, who was formerly called the Immortal of the South Pole.
Emperor Gou Chen of Xiji and Emperor Ziwei of Beiji are both the sons of Doumu Yuanjun. Doumu Yuanjun is the disciple of Tongtian Sect Master Jinling Holy Mother, and the master of Thunder God Puhua Tianzun Wen Zhong.
Interestingly, Jiang Taigong named King Wen of Zhou's eldest son Bo Yikao to the Ziwei Emperor. When King Wen of Zhou was imprisoned by King Zhou Zhou in Wuli, Bo Yikao went to Chaoge to save his father, but he angered King Zhou and chopped it into meat sauce and made into meat pie for King Wen to eat.
After King Wen returned to Xiqi, Sizi was heartbroken and vomited a white rabbit. This matter was strange. The disciples of the Jie Sect were not unaware that the Shang Dynasty had already been exhausted. Since Bo Yikao was the son of the Holy Mother of Jinling, he was reincarnated as King Wen's eldest son, who was quite interested in following the trend.
Unfortunately, when he was in Chaoge, Bo Yikao did not follow Daji's wishes and sacrificed his life. King Wu, supported by the Ancestral Sect, took on the great task of prospering Zhou and destroying Zhou, and the Jie Sect had to completely turn to Zhou Zhou of Shang. There is an idiom called "Bun Death and Fox Sorrow", which is likely to be related to this matter.
When it comes to the original, the golden crow and the jade rabbit are unique species on the sun and the moon respectively. Bo Yikao is likely to be the Jade Rabbit clan. After the decline of the four spirits, they often choose a force among the human race to indirectly achieve their own goals.
Fuxi, Dayu, Shang Tang, and King Wen of Zhou all obtained the secret techniques of the Four Spirits, such as the River Tu, Luoshu, etc. The human race often had demon spirits behind the scenes. This was exactly the same as the Four Spirits Age, when the Gods drove the Four Spirits to attack and kill each other, it was nothing new.
In short, the four emperors are all very famous, and they are not comparable to that of Jiang Taigong. No wonder there is no place for him in it.
Although the five elders of the five directions have the honor of honor, Tathagata and Guanyin are both friends outside the sect, and Jiang Taigong and Guan Master Guan do not have clear positions.
This is no different from the situation when the Jade Emperor followed Taibai Jinxing's advice and summoned Sun Wukong to be the sage of the Equaling Heaven, but had no power.
If mortals are allowed to recommend it, Guanyin and Mr. Guan are probably powerful candidates for the Emperor of Heaven. However, the essence of the Three Pure and Four Imperials is the relationship between father and son, master and disciple. If the needle cannot be inserted into it, water cannot be poured into it. The people who are praised by the five directions may as well be granted the saints and emperors, and give them a free and noble position. Those who do not know how to advance and retreat like Sun Wukong, try their best to suppress it. As a result, they have to escape into Buddhism and seek protection. Among the twelve golden immortals of the Anatomy, Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Cihang, and the three generations of disciples include Jinzha, Muzha, Wei Hu, and later Sun Wukong.
This is really a world that cannot be done.
…………
Yin Wuya made a divine eye through the sky. It was a bit whimsical when he thought of spying out the situation of the gods.
According to him, the divine eyes can see billions of kilometers away, and the stars in the sky can naturally be seen clearly.
But the human eye can only observe the skin and body, and ignore the spiritual aspects and be as confused as if they are unknown. Ghosts are an alien, and gods are a spirit, and they cannot be observed by the naked eye. (To be continued.)
