Chapter 564
Jiang Shuimei knew that the gods were mean and ruthless, and they were unreasonable. They thought they would have had some serious retribution, but they only asked her to recite the rules and repent for her own faults. It was really a pity that she could be merciless.? w?w w?

Jiang Shuimei dared not argue, but only hoped that after reciting the rules and precepts, the gods could speak out a little about their mercy and sent a few envoys to rescue Jiang Peifeng.
Ming Qin practiced since childhood and read a lot of classics of the Three Sects. Although he was not convinced by the saints of the Three Sects, he only admired his great personality and admired his knowledge. He was different from the good men and women in the secular world who burned incense and worshiped Buddha and sought blessings.
People in Zhongxia cannot say that they have no faith, but they are not as superstitious as other religions. This psychology is actually the result of the education of the two saints, Zhou Gong and Confucius.
Duke Zhou made rituals and music, and replaced the witches who served ghosts and gods with Confucian scholars who presided over the etiquette, which eliminated the customs of the Yin people who liked ghosts. Confucius, from Zhou, understood deeply that ghosts and gods were not easy to understand by humans, so he did not speak of strangeness, power, chaos, and gods. His attitude towards ghosts and gods was very rational, and there were words such as "If you don't know life, how can you know death?" and "If you can't serve people, how can you serve ghosts."
However, the original teachings of the Divine Way in the world have not been eliminated, because ghosts and gods are in the dark, and they cannot be known by humans. If they have to say the ultimate, they are inevitably either foolish or false. And they are not close to the fundamental problem of life. Zhuangzi said, "Besides **, sages exist without ignorance." Confucius said, "Knowing is known, but not knowing, and not knowing, and thinking that knowledge cannot be considered wise.
With the advancement of human knowledge, any false accusations made to the wall will be self-defeating after a long time, and it will only add to the laughing stock. What's more, in order to maintain the Earth's central theory, the so-called belief is not self-deception.
As weak creatures in the Three Realms, humans have a harsh environment and difficult survival in the era of eating raw meat and drinking blood. They need some idols to serve as spiritual sustenance. From gods who call the wind and rain to ancestors with noble virtues, they worship them. It is understandable.
Seeking profit and avoiding harm is a need for survival, and the instinct of objects. Then worshiping creatures that are stronger than themselves, regard them as idols, and seeking protection. This is where ghosts and gods are born, not only in terms of emotion and reason, but also in fact is possible.
But for human beings to survive forever, not only will they become increasingly materially rich, but they will also have the way of adaptability and independence in their spirit.
Among Confucius' disciples, Yan Hui was the most wise man. Yan Hui lived in a shabby alley, had poor clothes and food, and people could not bear their worries, but could not change their happiness. Every time the Confucian scholars of the Song Dynasty said that they were good at imitating the predecessors. In other words, this spiritual independence was free from false external seeking and was dependent on ghosts and gods.
There is a saying, "A gentleman is open and honest, but a villain is always worried." A gentleman is happy and has a good spirit, so he can be open and unrequited. A villain's heart is happy because of things, and his feelings are sad by oneself. Every joy and anger is controlled by external things. Therefore, he always wants to find an idol for his spirit and hide his subordinates. His appearance is faith, but he has no roots.
When Buddhism was spread eastward, scholars could still study the meaning of the scriptures and explore the principles. Secular people only knew how to burn incense and worship Buddha and seek blessings. In order to confront Buddhists, Taoism absorbed Lao Tzu and Zhuangzi's first-class sages, Yin-Yang Techniques, and gods and magical arts in one go, and then plagiarized Buddhist scriptures and imitated the meaning of the scriptures, which actually became a great sect.
The three religions later were called together, and the etiquette of the Confucian scholars of the Song Dynasty enveloped the whole society, almost no difference from religion.
The ancients said, "The heaven does not give birth to Zhong Ni, and it will be like a long night forever." In terms of Confucius' influence on Zhongxia, it is indeed not an exaggeration. There are countless tribes in the Three Realms, some have high cultures, and some have low cultures. Those with high cultures will inevitably have some saints with great personality and profound wisdom. They teach several disciples, and over the years, they gradually achieve the same writing and common friendship. This is what the ancients said about the success of human culture.
The shapes of Zhongxia and the Four Barbarians are similar, and there is no doubt that the same species are the same species, and they are also the same race since ancient times. Later, one clan emerged from saints, educated by etiquette, and the culture became increasingly advanced. Another species was not educated and flocked with birds and beasts. Originally, brothers of the same race became very different races with very different customs as they grew older.
There are saints of heaven, saints of humanity, and saints of heaven are like Lao Tzu, who was called Boda Zhenren by the ancients. Lao Tzu advocates nature and takes the way of heaven as the basis, and his vision and mind are both very accessible. Taoism has the saying that Lao Tzu transforms into Hu. Although it is absurd, the Buddha's vision is indeed comparable to Lao Tzu.
In the Diamond Sutra, the self-view, the human beings see, and the living beings see. Zhuangzi's fable says that the barbarians live on the tentacles of snails, fight against the land, and hide tens of thousands of corpses. They are enough to break prejudices and escape from them.
What Lao Tzu saw was so great that he was particularly humble, abstaining from being full and being cautious, and not having the arrogance of arrogance.
Humane saints such as Confucius, Mozi, and Joshua pay special attention to the fate of mankind, promote benevolence, and hope to improve relationships between people.
The ancients said, "A gentleman does not have a party." Once a group of people is formed, he loses the spirit of independent thinking. Whether it is Buddha, Taoism, or Mohism, with a strict monk and Taoist organization, he cannot allow objections and dissent. The Mohism family values virtuousness and the sameness, and the virtuousness is the premise of respecting the sameness. It is not a big problem for those who follow the will of wise men and believers to follow their will. However, sages have never appeared in the world and cannot win people after several generations. They still do not rely on personal influences of leadership. They can only rely on some rules and precepts, and they will inevitably become increasingly superstitious.
In fact, the influence of saints will gradually weaken with the passage of time, and then a new saint needs to appear. Mencius said, "A king will rise for five hundred years, and there will be famous people in the world." Taishi Gong wrote "Records of the Grand Historian", which also summarized the Ming Dynasty and continued the Spring and Autumn Period and expected it.
In fact, the most influential person after Confucius was not these two people, but Zhu Xi. It can be said that Zhu Xi's influence has surpassed Confucius for more than a thousand years. However, Zhu Xi obeyed Confucius and thought he had inherited Confucius' career.
After the Song Dynasty, the four chapters of Zhu Xi were used to open a vocational school. People's understanding of Confucius is no longer the true face of Confucius, but Confucius in Zhu Xi's explanation. Zhu Xi can be said to be the spokesperson of Confucius.
Some people compare Thai scholarship to believe that the Chinese and Xia culture focuses on inheritance and rarely creates it. The most brilliant and brilliant academic one is the controversy of hundreds of schools of thought in the pre-Qin era, which has been difficult to go beyond its scope in the future.
Therefore, sages like Zhu Xi and Yangming all say that their knowledge is just an interpretation of the sages. The advantage is that the Zhongxia culture is very inherited. It feels very friendly when talking about Confucius more than 2,000 years ago. The disadvantage is that the appearance of Confucius, Zhu Xi and Wang Yangming is slight, and if you don’t read their books carefully, you won’t know which the theories were created by them themselves.
Therefore, all honors are given to Confucius, and their reputations are also gathered in Confucius. Modern people reflect on the shortcomings of culture often blame Confucius two thousand years ago, and Zhu Xi more than a thousand years ago. I don’t know that people can only be responsible for the times in their lifetime. A theory cannot be without corruption. People have the responsibility of others in the world, which always lies in the continuous efforts of future generations to correct them. (To be continued.)
