Chapter 2 The Flag of the Nine-Tailed Fox

The Nine-tailed Fox Clan flag fluttered in the wind and headed towards the northeast. Hua was tied with his hands behind the car. The team crossed two rivers one after another. The first river was relatively narrow and shallow. In this dry season, some sections of the river were deeper than knees. The team directly found a shallow and slow place to flow through.

When crossing the second big river, you pass by a simple ferry. The ferry is obviously controlled by the Su tribe. The ferry has a simple village wall composed of logs, and there are twenty soldiers guarding each of the ferry crossings on both sides.

Hua learned from the conversation between the people in the team that one of the two rivers was called Luoshui and the other was called Heshui. Hua combined the two generations of cognition and knew that the area between the two rivers and the south of the river was the Luoyang Basin in later generations, also known as the Yiluo Basin, and the river water was what later generations called the Yellow River.

There are more and more fields on the roadside, and many of them are bent over in the fields, waving bronze sickles and harvesting crops. From time to time, supervisors shout loudly and whipping at whips.

When fields are continuous, ditches are intertwined, and the fields are crisscrossed, the settlements formed by thatched earth-stairs are revealed before our eyes. Natural streets are formed between buildings, and bluestone is laid on the more important streets. In the eyes of Hua who has witnessed two lives, these are actually large villages.

The "village" is divided into two parts: inner and outer parts by a trench about nine meters wide and a small river flowing through. There is a suspension bridge on the river connecting the two parts.

The car drove to the most magnificent building in the center of the "village" and stopped. It was not very appropriate to call it a building. It should be a "city", with a length and width of about 300 meters. It was surrounded by civil and wooden yard walls about two battles high. There were wooden watchtowers on the four corners of the courtyard and on both sides of the gate.

This is the palace of Su Kingdom. Hua followed the carriage into the palace and found that the palace of Su Kingdom and Yi Kingdom had the same style. A circle of corridors along the inner side of the palace courtyard. There are many doors on the corridor leading to a circle of houses and temples distributed along the palace walls. The front and rear harems are distributed on the central axis of the courtyard.

.....

Hua was untied in front of an old man.

"This is the palace of Su Bo in Su Country. I am the chief supervisor of Su Dao. You will be Su Bo's servant in the future." The old man introduced himself.

"I heard that you can read what is written on it." The old man said as he handed a bamboo strip. Hua Muran read out the words one by one. The old man nodded with satisfaction, and then whispered a few words to a servant beside him.

After a while, a twelve or thirteen-year-old girl appeared in front of Hua. Su Dao bowed down and whispered a few times in the girl's ear. The girl's big black eyes looked at Hua's body for a few times.

She looked at Hua Muna's appearance, pursed her lips and smiled, with two shallow dimples appearing on her face, turned her head and nodded to Su Dao.

Su Dao cleared his throat and said to Hua seriously: "This is Daji, the daughter of our lord. From now on, you will obey her mission. If you commit crimes, you will be beheaded at the least, and you will be used to worship the ancestors and ghosts. On the contrary, if the lord is satisfied, you can be promoted to everyone in the future and even give your surname to you. Do you know what you know?"

When Hua heard the word "Mao Sacrifice", the chrysanthemum tightened, and the picture of a half-pull pig hanging on the iron hook was vividly depicted by the hieroglyph of "Mao". He quickly nodded to the old man and said hello.

...

Hua followed Daji, accompanied by a maid and two guards with bronze swords.

"I am Daji, what are your name?" the girl spoke.

"Go back to the little wife, the little servant Minghua, he has no name now."

"Now... don't have a surname? Is this what you meant? Did you have a surname before?" Su Daji stopped and asked Hua in confusion.

Hua told Su Daji all the time about his experience in Yiguo. Su Daji sighed, looked at Hua with sympathy, and said, "You are also a miserable child. My mother left after giving birth to me..."

Hua didn't notice what she said later, because she had already heard a "ding" sound in her mind.

The familiar female voice sounded in my ears again.

...

[Acquaintance with Su Daji is completed, congratulations to the lord for obtaining fifty points and ten bronze shield guards. The bronze shield guard will arrive at the exit of Suyi in one hour. Please ask the lord to meet them in time. If you cannot meet them within three hours, they will disappear!]

[Ding, Main Mission 2: Build your own city south of the Luo River. The reward you can get for completing the mission is 100 points and 50 farmers]

...

Hua said in his heart, "How should I get rid of this place?", and glanced at the two 1.8 meters tall sword guards beside him. It was obviously not feasible to try to break through and escape from the Su family's town.

"Are you still thinking about going to Chaoge? The name Chaoge sounds very good, but this place is not beautiful. Stay here and I can protect you. When you grow up, I will let your father give you freedom." Daji said after seeing the depression on Hua's face.

Hua was squirming his lips and was about to say something, when Su Daji's cold little hand had already held his hand, and her delicate and crisp sound came into Hua's ears.

"Let's go, I'll take you to see the wild geese I have been tamed. When I forget to take care of them in the future, you must remember to take care of them." Daji said as he led Hua towards the riverside of the small river.

Hua sighed in his heart, [The moral ethics, customs and culture of the Shang Dynasty were still very different from the nearly three thousand years after the Zhou Dynasty. At this age, if you hold hands with the lady of the master in this way, you will be killed by a stick in the future. Of course, no matter how old it is, it is impossible for a male servant to be a lady of the master in the future to be a maid.]

...

Built in a goose shed by the river, Hua followed Daji and watched several big geese.

"Huh? Where has A Fei gone?" Daji said to himself in confusion.

"Little wife, who is A Fei?"

"I raised a big goose with black feathers all over my body since I was a child." Daji was close to the water bank and raised his head to look at the river in the distance.

At this time, a big goose paced, shaking its fat body, walked between Hua and Daji with a big swagger, and raised his head to look down on Hua. Hua looked at Daji's back and suddenly had a bold plan in his heart.

Hua took advantage of the fact that the other people were also helping Daji to find A Fei, but he didn't pay attention to the second moment beside him, and he kicked the big goose violently.

The proud big goose was frightened by the sudden flying kick. She croaked a few croaking sounds, flapping her wings, soaring into the air, and her huge body hit Su Daji's back.

With a "pop", Su Daji threw herself into the water. Then she struggled desperately in the water. Obviously, the depth of the river water exceeded her height, and she couldn't swim.

The maid was so scared that she called for help, and ran to the city center while shouting. The two guards were shocked. If Daji had any accidents, they would not be able to survive.

One person hurriedly searched by the river, hoping to find something long pole to rescue him. The other person hesitated for a few seconds, took off his coat and jumped into the river with a thud.

However, the person who jumped into the water was not good at water. He could only dig a few times, but was panicked and confused. Su Daji grabbed him. The two of them struggled to float in the middle and downstream directions of the river. The guard finally broke free from Daji's entanglement, but he no longer cared about Daji. He used all his strength to dig the dog up the shore.

At this time, Hua had already run to the suspension bridge with a sprint speed of 100 meters, and then rushed out three or four hundred meters before leaving this Dianyi. There should be a bronze shield guard sent by the system there.
