Changzheng Airlines has produced three batches of 12 turbofans and 8-motors, codenamed 915, and is a power device of the Y-1o, which is an imitation type of American JT3D motor. It is divided into five workshops, including machining, stamping and welding, mechanization, heat treatment and surface treatment, assembly and trial operation.

The most important thing is the total motivation assembly workshop, with a construction area of ​​6,258 square meters, and is equipped with a full-room ventilation and ventilation device twice per hour. It has the characteristics of heating, sealing, dustproof and lighting. According to the design requirements, it can achieve 8 turbofans and 50 sets of annual total assembly turbofans.

The motive floor indoor test bench in the factory is a 15-ton motor suspension bench with a quick pick-up box, a lifting platform, a motive lifting rack and a locking pin, etc. The equipment is all hydraulically driven and controlled by a button operation. The bench can perform long-term test and shaping test bench for motors, and is a domestic seat suspension turbofan jet engine indoor test bench.

The large-scale machining workshop where Lin Johnson is located has a factory area of ​​8o43 square meters. There are 3 to 5 tons of cranes on three vertical spans. A total of 167 domestic and imported cutting machine tools are arranged, basically forming the ability to produce motor rotors, static and small and medium-sized zeros, components, and annual production of 12 sets.

Now Lin Johnson saw that there were many workers working in the workshop, and there were some foreigners. He was a little confused that the Wrought Fan 8 was dismounted. What were these people busy with? There were even foreigners in the factory!

"The turbofan 8 motor consists of multiple components. At that time, the entire project adhered to the principle of "domestic production as the main and import as the auxiliary" and carried out national cooperation. There were more than 50 participating units in Shanghai alone. For example, the aviation machinery factory is a professional factory for producing motivation blades, which is responsible for the manufacturing of 27 types of blades. The designated factories for the production of overall motivation components include Shanghai Pioneer Motor Factory, Shanghai Hai Electrical Machinery Factory, Shanghai Hai Oil Nozzle Oil Pump Factory, Shanghai Hai Automobile Gear Factory, etc.; there are 9 units such as 35 factories, Shanghai Hai Steam Turbine Factory, May Day Motor Factory, People's Motor Factory, and 16 units such as forging castings.

In the development of motivation, our shipping factory, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shangfei Institute and other units jointly opened 12 new materials and conquered dozens of new processes such as titanium alloy welding, plasma spraying, and vacuum brazing.

In June 1975, we completed the assembly in just 10 days and 10 nights, and successfully started the ignition in another month. By the end of 198o, the number of developers of the motive host had reached 32, including 2062 workers and 609 technicians. After nearly one year of continuous expansion, the shipping plant has added five main factories, including electrolytic processing, turbine blade processing, precision casting, forging and surface treatment, and there are also 9 supporting facilities such as power stations.

Although it is not comparable to the foreign European and American aircraft manufacturing powerhouses, this scale is already the top in China.

Precision casting and forging are workshops for producing blade blanks. The main equipment includes 25 kg vacuum smelting furnace, 2 oo kg smelting furnace, 5 kg silicon rectifier non-vacuum smelting furnace and 1 oo tons of meter high hammer, etc.

The electrolytic processing and turbine blade processing factory form a turbine guide blade machining workshop. The main equipment includes electrolytic machine tools, 16oo mm diameter vertical trucks and 5oo5oo mm diameter lathes and other large equipment.

The projects that have been put into production of the physical and chemical laboratory include line flaw detection, sound flaw detection, high-temperature long-term test, high-temperature tensile test, low-temperature test, metal chemical analysis, non-metallic chemical analysis, metallographic analysis, gas analysis, spectral analysis and salt spray test, etc.

Due to the lack of strict compliance with infrastructure procedures and restrictions on planned investment in the early stages of the expansion, the capacity of each power station is insufficient and some civil and equipment projects are missing. The factory has taken measures such as supplementary design and other sources of funds to make up for it. It has expanded the air compressor station, built gas meter houses, sewage treatment houses and electrolyte tank sheds, purchased and installed large-scale equipment such as 2oo kilograms of smelting furnaces and homemade 1oo tons of meter high-energy high hammers, and enriched physical and chemical testing equipment.

After looking around, Yang Wanli and others sighed, Lao Yang said with great regret: "If the 9-turbofan 8 can be persisted, and the Yun-1o can be persisted, it will not stop in 1982, and it is estimated that there will be better improvements now. The industrial foundation of Shanghai is one of the best in the country. The most important thing about the Yun-1o is to cultivate a team of professional technical personnel. The fuel injector of the turbofan is an extremely complex thing, and it is composed of dozens of injection holes evenly distributed in the annular combustion chamber. Due to the high pressure of the combustion chamber, the igniter does not need to work continuously once it is ignited. The combustion chamber always has a high temperature of thousands of degrees, and the air and oil are mixed in to burn directly. Therefore, in order to spray the atomized fuel in evenly, the injection pressure is also huge, which is very high for the oil supply system. If the seal is not done well, this thing will leak oil!"

Zhang Longgen nodded repeatedly and said, "Yes, General Manager Yang is right. If the car cylinder is not sealed well, it will leak oil, but if the vortex seal is not well, it will leak fuel. In addition, the 6 passenger aircraft used internationally now continue to use dual-motors to reduce fuel costs.
