Chapter 5: The Pleasure of Taoism
Chapter 5: The pleasure of practicing Taoism (this chapter is free)
The next morning, Uncle San’s family was surprised when they saw me. I felt inexplicable. In the end, my cousin Zhang Fuhong asked me with a dark face on the way to school: "Did you have a chat with Wu Xiaoman?"
"What? What are you guys?" I laughed in silence and asked him, "Why did you ask that?"
"You really didn't talk to her?" Zhang Fuhong asked me suspiciously, "Then why do you look so energetic?"
"Damn! You kid, I'm in good spirits and my life is related to her? Are you nervous? "I paused for a moment and asked my cousin: "You said I'm in good spirits. Are I different from before?"
"Yeah!...ah! The same, the same." When my cousin heard that my classmate Wu Xiaoman and I had nothing to do, he started to be absent-minded when he talked to me.
I sighed and was silent. I thought that maybe it was my entry into the Taoist practice, but my temperament had changed. The so-called face was born from the heart. My head was refreshed, my mood was happy, and I was full of energy, so it was normal to behave differently from usual.
Last night, I didn’t sleep all night and kept refining myself and building the foundation, which was a consolidation of the results. Walking on the way to school, I listened to the birds’ crisp chirping, felt the vitality of the grass on the roadside, and sighed that the world was so beautiful!
When I walked into the class and met Wu Xiaoman, I made an exception and greeted her with a smile. It made her confused and I laughed in my heart.
During morning self-study, Wu Xiaoman asked me: "What are you eating today?"
"Eat fried dough sticks and milk? What's wrong?" I asked in confusion.
Wu Xiaoman suddenly realized and said, "I thought you took the wrong medicine and didn't feel like you were the one you used to."
I was depressed! This classmate was so good at talking. I was lazy to pay attention to her and began to close my eyes to experience the changes brought to me by practicing Taoism.
Among the ancient practitioners, "Essence", "Qi" and "Shen" were called the three grades of medicine, and the alchemy scriptures were called the Three Treasures. I think "Essence" is the heat of life, "Qi" is the source of power, and "Shen" is the light. If human life loses these three functions, it is a symbol of death.
I quietly felt the existence of "sophistication", "qi" and "synia" in my body. I "think in mind", I "keep the spirit", and I "receive the energy". The three treasures slowly became one, and were chaotic, and I deeply felt the feeling of happiness in life.
When I was calming down, the small flag vented in the air in my Niwan Palace and flowed through the veins all over my body. Before I knew it, I kept guarding the Niwan, not like the mind introduced in the book.
The three things that are essence, energy, and spirit are in harmony. If you follow the same path, you will become a human being. If you reverse the path, you will become a Tao. Three are reversed and one part is reverse, and one part is correct.
Meditation, collect the spirit in the heart of heaven, and reach the Niwan, the small flag does not move, I am here to think.
I took the energy, captured my limbs and returned to Niwan, exhaled my air, and then dispersed my limbs and returned to Niwan again. I only had this thought, and I tied the small flag.
At this moment, I deeply felt the pleasure of life, with firm will and bright perseverance, and a clear mind and agile wisdom.
"Hey...! Zhang Santong."
I was practicing and vaguely felt that someone was calling me, exhaling, and being so excited. When I opened my eyes, I found that my deskmate Wu Xiaoman was calling me.
I asked, "What's the matter?"
Wu Xiaoman said: "You dream early in the morning! The first class is about to take, it's an English class."
Oh my god, damn English! I hate English. In the first five minutes of each English class, the teacher will write the word dictation once. If you make a mistake, you have to repeat it five hundred times. Writing the word dictation is simply my nightmare.
I have been busy practicing Taoism these days, so I must have no time to recite words. I took out my English textbook in a hurry. I asked Wu Xiaoman foolishly: "What lesson have you done? What words have you written today?"
"...You are hopeless." Xiaoman sighed. Her voice was soft and sounded very comfortable. "Look at the words of the third lesson."
I was sweating! I had been in class for more than a week, but I didn’t know which class I had. It was really embarrassing to think about it. People with such thick-skinned faces were so slight and feverish that my classmate Wu Xiaoman said.
I turned to the third lesson and quickly wrote the words I wanted to write in my hand. If the teacher named it on the blackboard and couldn't write it out, it would be a pity. Although I always made a pity, writing words on my hand has become my habit to go on stage to peek.
When the class bell rang, I just wrote more than 20 words tightly on the palms of my hands. Hehe, I think it should be no problem.
Sure enough, I am prepared for it! The beautiful English teacher really named me. There are two other students who are poor students like me, one is Cheng Fan and the other is Cao Kui. It can be said that these two are the classmates who are most familiar to me in the class, and they are also my friends, because we are in the same circle and have common topics.
I went to the podium and stood on the far right of the blackboard. In the middle was the tall and burly classmate Cao Kui, and on the far left was Cheng Fan, nicknamed Skinny Monkey. The English teacher stood beside me, staring at me with big beautiful eyes, as if he had a grudge against me. I thought I was done, and it was certain that I would be embarrassed.
When we dictate words, teachers usually speak Chinese and students write English.
The teacher said a Chinese word and stared at me immediately, sweat!
I used my middle and index fingers to hold chalk, looked at the palm of my hand with a slanted look, and wrote the words on the blackboard twice. My eyes and my movements were perfect.
"Zhang Santong!!!"
"ah?"
I turned around and found that the teacher's eyes were wide open. The beautiful female teacher in her twenties looked so beautiful when she got angry! Haha.
The teacher pointed at me and said, "Touch your hand out, what is written on your palm?"
?How did she know that there was something written in my palm? How could she notice my movements? I was very confident in my own methods. I thought it must be the talkative guy who told the teacher privately that I used. My eyes rolled and replied, "Teacher, that's the words I wrote at home in the morning. I used them to memorize them silently on the way to school."
"Okay! OK! OK!"
The teacher said three times in a row, and then said, "Then you don't have to write it anymore. Tell me directly, look up at me, how do you spell the snake?"
"s-n-a-k-e"? I actually spelled it out. When did my memory be so good? I remember that I just wrote it on my hand before class. Before I could think about the reason, the teacher asked again: "How do you pronounce it?"
"..." I don't know, I really don't know how to pronounce it.
"How to fight assassination?"
"a-s-s-a-s-s-i-n-a-t-e" I spelled it out without hesitation, but still didn't know how to pronounce it.
“…”
“…”
The teacher said seven or eight words in succession, and I spelled them all. The students below were all surprised, especially my cousin and Wu Xiaoman. In fact, I was also surprised in my heart. I didn’t expect that as soon as I started practicing Taoism, my mind seemed to be very broad. It seems that practicing Taoism is good!
