Chapter 9, What Falls from the Sky

Wang Ying walked around very casually, just like shopping in a rural market before the end of the world.

It has become a habit for everyone to have a lot of things to do, and they will come here to visit the black market.

Wang Ying doesn’t really have to buy something, and she also has the purpose of passing the time.

"I've sold rings, and the things that fell from the sky only cost 10 kilograms of meat or 100 kilograms of grain."

A weak voice sounded in Wang Ying's ears, and immediately attracted the attention of the idle crowd around him.

Wang Ying looked over and saw an old man with gray hair and wrinkles on his face shouting hard. Next to him was a boy about eight or nine years old.

The little boy seemed very scared to see the people around him. He hugged the old man's thighs and hid behind the old man, looking at the crowd around him with a vigilant and fearful look.

The old man touched the little boy's head very lovingly, trying to reduce the little boy's fear, and then continued to hawk in a weak manner. On his right hand, a dull and quaint ring was being displayed to everyone.

"Old man, are you talking about it true? Will this thing fall from the sky?"

Someone looked at the ring in the old man's hand and said with disbelief.

"What fell from the sky?"

Wang Ying's eyes lit up. Two years ago, when the disaster of the end of the world came, green and red light spots floated down in the sky, and all kinds of things fell from the sky.

Most of these things that fell from the sky are very extraordinary, and are all rare treasures that have never been seen on the earth. Some people can often turn over if they get these things that fell from the sky.

So when I heard that it was something that fell from the sky, the crowd around me became excited, and they all rushed to see clearly what was strange about this ring.

However, the ring is dull and dull. Although it looks very simple, it looks very ordinary no matter how you look at it. It seems to be a thousand miles away from the things that fell from the world.

"I'm almost buried in the ground and will never lie. Two years ago, I was working in the ground and suddenly there was a big earthquake. Then this one fell from the sky like a meteor and just landed not far from me."

"I originally wanted to treat it as a family heirloom, but now my grandson and I are about to starve to death, so I can only take it out for some food. If you want it, you can exchange it for food, which is absolutely impossible."

When the old man heard someone’s questioning, his face turned rosy and explained the origin of the ring.

"It's absolutely impossible to fake? Then tell me, what's special about your ring? What's falling from the world is not ordinary things, there must be something strange."

Someone smiled and said to the old man, obviously they are all watching the fun and are not afraid of many things.

"What's the strange thing? That's really not. I've been studying it for 2 years and haven't developed anything, otherwise my grandson and I wouldn't have fallen to this point."

The old man shook his head helplessly.

"Tsk~ nothing, maybe it's another liar. Last time someone took a stone and said it fell from the sky, but he really cheated a few kilograms of meat."

"Haha, I also remember that someone used to use a broken knife and said it was a magic weapon that fell from the world, but it was cut in half with a kitchen knife."

"This old man is probably a liar~"

When the people around him heard this, they all smiled and shook their heads, and walked away one after another.
