"Dianthus Flowers"

Once upon a time there was a queen who did not give her children. Every morning she would go to the garden to pray that God would give her a son and a half of her daughter.

Later, God sent an angel to her and said, "Don't worry, you will have a son, and he has the ability to turn hope into reality. Anything in the world can be obtained as long as he wants."

The queen told the king the good news. Soon the queen really gave birth to a son, and the king was extremely happy.

Every morning, the queen took her children to the garden where all kinds of wild animals were raised, and bathed in a clear stream, and the children gradually grew up.

One day, the little prince was lying in his mother's arms, and the queen was dozing. An old chef came over and knew that the child had the ability to turn hope into reality. He stole him, hid him in a secret place, and found a nurse to breastfeed him. Then he killed a chicken and dripped the chicken blood on the queen's apron and clothes. Then he came to the king and accused the queen of not being careless and causing the child to be eaten by wild animals.

When the king saw the blood on the queen's body, he believed it and fell into extreme sorrow. He ordered people to build a tower that was too high to see the sun, locked up the queen, and wanted to lock her up for seven years, not to bring her food and water, and let her starve to death slowly.

God sent two angels to turn into two white doves, and gave food twice a day, one for seven years.

The chef thought to himself: "If the child really has the power to realize his wish and I am in the palace, I might cause trouble for me."

So he left the palace and came to the place where the children were hidden, and said to the prince who could already speak: "Let yourself wish you a beautiful palace with a garden, and you must also have various supplies that match it."

As soon as the child finished speaking, everything was already in front of him.

After a while, the chef said to him again: "It's not good to be alone. Please ask for a beautiful girl to accompany you."

The prince just said he wanted to, a beautiful girl was already standing in front of him, and no painter could describe her beauty. They played games together and loved each other wholeheartedly. The chef went out to hunt like a nobleman.

He suddenly remembered that one day the prince would want to live with his father, wouldn’t he be facing a murder! So he came back and grabbed the girl and said, “When the child falls asleep tonight, go to his bed and get his sword into his chest, take out his tongue and heart for me. Otherwise I will kill you!" After that, he left.

When he came back the next day, the girl not only did not do as he told her, but also asked: "Why did I kill an innocent child? He has never hurt anyone."

The chef said again: "If you don't do what I ask, I will take your life."

After he left, the girl asked someone to grab a deer and kill him, took out his heart and tongue and put it on a plate. When she saw the old man coming, she quickly said to the little boy, "Lear down and cover yourself with your clothes."

The villain asked when he entered the door, "Where is the child's heart and tongue?"

The girl handed the plate to the old chef, but the prince lifted the quilt and said, "You old villain! Why do you kill me? I will convict you now: become a black poodle with a golden collar around your neck, and you have to eat red charcoal until there is a fire in your throat."

As soon as he finished speaking, the old man turned into a black dog with a golden collar around his neck and could not move. The prince ordered people to use the red charcoal fire, so the black dog had to stuff it into his mouth and eat it so much that flames burst out from his throat.

The prince stood for a while and remembered his mother, not knowing whether she was still alive. He said to the girl, "I want to go back to my country. If you are willing to go with me, I will provide you with everything you need."

"Oh, the road is so far," replied the girl, "and it's also going to a strange country, and no one knows me, what am I going to do?" She seemed reluctant to go with her, but the prince was unwilling to break up, so she hoped that she would become a beautiful carnation flower with her.

Then the prince set out and the black dog had to run behind. The prince came to the tall tower where his mother was imprisoned, hoping that there would be a long ladder for him to climb to the top, and the ladder would really appear.

He climbed to the top and shouted, "Dear Queen, are you still alive?"

The queen replied, "I just finished my meal and I'm still full now." The queen thought they were the two angels.

The prince said again: "I am your dear son! You used to think I was eaten by wild animals, but I am still alive, and I want to save you!"

He climbed down the tower to meet his father. At first he asked someone to inform him that he was a hunter and asked the king if he needed him to do anything. The king said that as long as he was proficient in hunting, he could catch prey.

At that time, there had never been deer in this country. The hunter agreed to hunt deer, and said that he would catch as much as he wanted in the palace. He summoned all the hunters into the forest, formed a large circle, left a gap at the end where he stood, and then expressed his hope, and immediately two hundred deer fled around in the encirclement.

The hunters shot and killed them one after another, and the sixty large carts they brought with them were filled with them. This was the first time in many years that the king had caught so many preys. He was very happy and ordered that the palace all came to attend a grand banquet the next day to share the prey with him.

When everyone was here, the king said to the hunter: "Since you are so smart, sit by my side."

But the hunter replied: "Your Majesty, you must forgive me for not obeying me, because I am just an ordinary hunter."

But the king insisted: "Sit beside me."

The hunter sat down. He thought of his dearest mother, hoping that the king's close ministers would mention her and ask whether the queen in the tower was still alive.

As soon as this thought appeared, he heard the etiquette officer say, "Your Majesty, we are celebrating here. I wonder what the queen in the tower is like? Are she still alive?"

But the king said, "Don't mention her! Who told her to let the beast eat my dear son!"

The hunter stood up and said, "Dear Father, I am your son, the queen is still alive, and I am not eaten by wild animals. It was the evil chef who stole me while the mother was dozing off, and then killed a chicken and sprinkled some chicken blood on her dress."

As he said that, he led the black dog forward and said, "This is the villain."

He also asked people to get the red charcoal fire. The black dog swallowed the charcoal fire in full view of everyone, and ate it so that the flames ran out of his throat.

The hunter asked the king again if he wanted to see the dog restore his true form, and then said this hope. The dog immediately returned to the chef's original appearance: wearing a white apron and holding a table knife in his hand. When the king saw the chef, he hated him very much and immediately ordered him to be locked in the deepest dungeon.

The hunter said again: "Father, are you willing to see the girl who raised me? The chef asked her to kill me, otherwise she would kill her, but she still didn't."

The king said, "I would like to see her."

The son said, "Dear Father, I would like to let her meet you in the face of beautiful flowers." As he said, he took out a beautiful dianthus from his pocket, and the king had never seen a more beautiful tweed than this.

The son said, "I'll let her restore her true form now." He said his hope, and the flowers immediately turned into a beautiful girl, and no painter in the world could paint her beauty.

The king sent two maids and two male servants to the tower to take the queen to the banquet hall. But the queen had nothing to eat and said, "When I was in the tower, the merciful God kept taking care of me, and he would soon free me."
