Chapter 29 Vigil
In the afternoon, Old John walked out of Gret's house.
"Then I'll trouble you about this." Old John turned around, raised his head slightly, and said to Old Gret, who was standing at the door with a reserved but polite manner.
"It is my honor to be able to serve Lord Baron!" Old Gret chuckled and bowed slightly, "Old Gret still knows some friends in Patray City. I will lead the way for Master John tomorrow."
"So good!" Old John nodded, "If things are done, the Baron will not be stingy with the reward!"
Old Grett immediately smiled like an old chrysanthemum.
"Well, see you tomorrow." Old John said, then left expressionlessly.
Old Gret was still standing at the door, and the smile on his face disappeared at some point, turning into a dull look, his eyes were like a bottomless deep pool, quietly watching Old John's increasingly blurred figure.
"Father, he has gone far..." A slightly frivolous voice came from behind Old Gret.
Old Gret frowned and turned around. Who else is not his eldest son?
"Why are you back? Didn't you go to find the stone and soil that the Baron wanted?"
"Not found!" Big Gret replied lazily.
"Will you continue to search if you can't find it? You won't be looking for a curse in a farther direction?" Old Gret was angry when he heard it and taught a lesson.
"I don't want to look for it! People in the whole village have been searching for so long, but no one has found it! Father, could it be that the Baron has found it, but he deliberately said that he didn't find it. I'm so greedy for that bounty?" Big Grett speculated maliciously.
During this period, it was not that there were no villagers who handed over something similar to limestone and clay, but unfortunately, it was not what William was looking for.
"Bold! You dare to slander Baron!" Old Gret was furious.
Big Grett curled his lips, "I'm just talking."
"You can't even say it! Cough cough cough..." Because he was too angry, Old Gret coughed violently, then glared at his eldest son and said, "The Gret family has been able to live until now, and they rely on not to guess randomly! You must remember that we are just a tool for sending letters! The tool does not have its own ideas."
"I know, father." Big Gret replied dismissively, "You have said it many times!"
"Hmph!" Seeing this look, Old Gret sighed in his heart, paused for a moment, and then said, "If you think the Baron's guards are dangerous, you won't go. If you think the Baron's mission is troublesome, you won't go find it. Since that's the case, you will go to Patra City with me tomorrow."
"City of Patras? Baron's housekeeper?" Big Gret was very quick to think about it, and he laughed strangely, "Does Baron want to buy real estate in City of Patras? He has become a brave nobleman to persevere until today!"
"Shut up!" Old Gret yelled, and couldn't help coughing, "Cough cough cough..."
"Isn't it? Poor those stupid villagers, some people think that the Baron will stay here in winter and fight with those damn lizard men? The nobles are not so stupid!" Big Gret said self-righteously.
"If you were heard by Lord Baron or his entourage, how many days would you think you could last when hanging at the entrance of the village?" Old Gret said coldly.
Big Gret shivered when he heard this, and looked around in fear. There was no one at all. Then he let out a secret breath and whispered, "Does Baron not have so much time to care about my affairs? Besides, he doesn't have many followers, he is busy!"
"Hmph!" Old Gret snorted coldly, "It's okay for you to die. Don't implicate the Gret family, and don't implicate your brother. He is in the Baron's guard, so don't make him lose the Baron's trust!"
A cold light flashed in Big Gret's eyes and he stopped talking.
Old Gret looked at his eldest son in disappointment and said, "Mr. John went to Patras to purchase items for winter. Don't talk nonsense. Have a good rest today! Let's go with me tomorrow!"
"A item for winter? Is it true that Baron really wants...Isn't this seeking death?" Big Gret said in shock.
Old Gret glanced at him without answering, slowly walked past him and entered the room.
Leaving Big Grett standing there, his brows locked.
"Andrew..."
Andrew was the name of Big Grett. When he heard someone calling him, Andrew Grett raised his head and saw Adams standing outside at a glance.
"Mr. Adams, are you here to find my father?" Andrew Gret asked casually.
"No, Andrew, I'm here to find you!" Adams's answer surprised Andrew.
"Look for me?"
"Yes, Andrew, you heard it right." Adams said affirmatively.
Andrew's heart moved and said playfully, "Mr. Andrew, I have no secret news."
"Andrew, you're so humorous." Adams laughed.
"Mr. Adams, please speak out."
"Okay." Adams approached Andrew, lowered his voice, and said in a voice that only two people could hear, "I do have something to do and ask you..."
"This is not good..." Andrew looked at Adams hesitantly with his eyebrows.
"Andrew, winter is coming, are you really going to stay here? We need help! We need to save ourselves!" Adams looked into Andrew's eyes deeply.
Andrew instantly remembered what Old Grett had just said, buying winter supplies, and the swaying balance suddenly fell to one side. He nodded.
Adams immediately smiled meaningfully, "The people in the entire village of Nisse will be grateful to you. You are the hero of the whole village!"
After Adams praised him, Andrew's face turned flushed.
At this moment, Old Gret's voice came from the room, "Andrew, who are you talking to?"
"No..." Andrew came to his senses and responded casually.
"Then I'll go back first! Don't forget!" Adams said silently.
Andrew nodded heavily, his eyes firmly.
Early the next morning, John Old, Grett, and his eldest son, Andrew Grett, each rode a horse and carried enough dry food toward Patray.
The city of Patra is hundreds of kilometers away from the village of Nisse, and even if you ride a horse, it will take a day.
This is still fast!
If the team is in large groups, the speed will be much slower!
The relocation of the Nisse village takes three or four days every year.

At night, Nisse village, at the end of the village.
The night in the village of Nisse is too quiet, and the sound of wind and insects seem to disappear.
The village's tail is close to the dark forest, and only a small wooden fence is separated from it.
There are countless battles in the dark forest under the dark night.
The air seemed to smell bloody, and occasionally there would be a few whimpers, like the last struggle of life.
A bonfire rose, and the orange-red flames brought warmth and dim light.
Jacques Porter and Drake John were sitting next to the campfire.
It's their turn to watch tonight!
Jacques Porter forked two slices of black bread with a fork and burned on the flames.
This is the late-night snack that William arranged for the night watchman!
It felt almost the same. Jacques Porter took two slices of black bread in front of him and gently pinched it with his hands.
"hot!"
"soft!"
"It's ready to eat!"
A hint of joy flashed across Jacques Porter's face. He didn't care about being hot, so he pinched a piece of black bread and put it in his mouth to chew it.
"Hey, do you want some black bread?" Jacques Porter said to Drake John in a vague manner.
It was a long night, if no one had spoken, he wouldn't know how boring it would be!
Drake John gave him a blank look, and instead of returning to him, he continued to look at the dark forest outside the village.
"Come on one, man!" Jacques Porter tore off a piece of black bread and stuffed it into Drake John's hands.
Drake frowned and glanced at Jacques, then at the black bread in his hand.
"Man, don't be polite! Eat." Jacques said with a bold smile.
Drake rolled his eyes again, hesitated for a moment, and picked up the black bread and started to chew on it.
"Hahahaha, that's it!" Jacques burst into laughter.
After eating, the relationship between the two seemed to be much closer, and they could say a few words instead of being relatively speechless before.
Jacques ate black bread with big mouthfuls and asked curiously, "My man, why do you always look at the dark forest? Let me tell you, I have lived here since I was a child, and I am tired of watching this ghost forest every day. I am tired of watching it than my father watching me! It won't take long to get tired of watching it! There is nothing attractive!"
Drake seemed much more gentle when he ate bread. He ate it in small mouthfuls, gave Jacques a disdainful look and said, "I don't see the Dark Forest! Don't you think the Dark Forest tonight is particularly quiet?"
"Jing? Guy, let me tell you that the forest has to sleep at night, not everyone is as great as us!" Jacques was stunned and immediately said.
The village of Nisse has never had the habit of vigil.
If William hadn't had the treatment here was so attractive, these guards would have been unsuccessful!
Jacques said, looking into the dark forest.
Well, it's dark and a few green dots.
The green dots flashed like stars in the sky!
"Flash?" Jacques suddenly reacted and looked over suddenly. How could this be the green dot?
This is the wolf's eyes!
"Wolf attack!" Jacques roared and echoed throughout the silent night.
