Chapter 375: The Five Techniques of Metaphysics

Zhou Xuan really benefited a lot from this conversation with Taoist Master Simu. He has made a lot of progress in Taoism.

Although Uncle Jiu has given him most of his learning, the focus of each Maoshan disciple will be slightly different. Uncle Jiu is good at certain offensive spells, but he only has a little bit of knowledge about some auxiliary spells, or even has a little understanding of them.

After all, human energy is limited, and Uncle Jiu cannot be proficient in all spells. But Taoist Simu is a little better than Uncle Jiu in this regard. He prefers to study these auxiliary spells.

In this way, the two Taoist techniques complement each other, which is naturally a cheaper thing Zhou Xuan. So he gained a lot of exquisite insights and magic from Taoist Master Simu.

The most unfortunate thing is that Uncle Jiu and Taoist Simu are not well aware of metaphysics and physiognomy.

If Zhou Xuan wants to become a comprehensive Taoist priest, he must be proficient in the five mythology techniques. As long as he learns these, his survival ability will be several more levels. In addition to his other abilities, it is really hard to die.

The five metaphysics are the general terms of mountain, medicine, physiognomy, fate and divination.

"Shan" includes three parts: "Xuandian", "Health Preservation" and "Studying the Secret", which are secret techniques for cultivating the mind and nurturing the body and exercise the body; through Xuandian, talisman, bait, meditation, meditation, martial arts, foundation building and other techniques, we practice the body and spirit to achieve health preservation and immortality.

"Medical" includes three parts: "prescription", "acupuncture", and "spiritual therapy", which is a kind of science to maintain health and treat diseases.

The part of "image" includes five types: name, human appearance, house appearance, seal appearance, and tomb appearance. It is a method of observing the image existing in the phenomenal world.

"Fate" is a method to judge a person's destiny based on the relationship between time and space. Its important methods include: "astrology", "stem and branch techniques", "Ziping Bazi Pushing Destiny Technique", "Ziwei Doushu", "Stars and Seas" and other methods to understand life, understand the laws of nature, and thus improve people's destiny.

The art of "bud" has the most profound origins, such as "Plum Blossom Yi", "Na Jia Duan Yi", "Liu Ren Shen Ju", "Tai Yi Shen Ju", "Qi Men Duan Jia" and other mathematics. Most military strategists in historical dynasties are proficient in this technique.

Zhuge Liang of the Han Dynasty, Li Chunfeng of the Tang Dynasty, Shao Kangjie of the Song Dynasty, Liu Bowen of the Ming Dynasty, Zeng Guofan of the Qing Dynasty, etc.

According to legend, more than 4,600 years ago, Huangdi received help from the gods and gave him the heavenly book to destroy Chiyou's magic, captured and killed Chiyou to unify the world. After Huangdi quelled the war, he ordered Cangjie to create characters and record the various secret techniques taught by the Nine Heavens Xuannv. This book is the "Golden Seal and Jade Hang" that was later regarded as a treasure by the people in the martial arts world.

The secret book left by Huangdi was obtained by Jiang Taigong in Kunlun Mountain in the Zhou Dynasty. He used the secret art to help Zhou defeat Zhou, which gave Zhou a 800-year rule. During the Warring States Period, it was passed on to Guiguzi, the ancestor Wang Chan.

He passed the secret technique to his disciples - Su Qin, Zhang Yi, Sun Bin, and Pang Juan, and made his disciples become famous generals and ministers at that time. In the Han Dynasty, Zhang Liang obtained secrets from Huangshigong, which was prosperous for four hundred years.

"Golden Seal and Jade Hang" was passed down from generation to generation in magical way. In the Three Kingdoms era, it was passed down to Zhuge Liang, and it was assisted in winning three parts of the world. During the Jin Dynasty, the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Sui Dynasty, the Tang Dynasty, and the Five Dynasties, although there were also people who received "Golden Seal and Jade Hang" during the period, most of them were not complete.

For example, Zhuge Liang obtained Taoism, Guo Pu and Yang Yunsong obtained geomancy (Yin and Yang Feng Shui). In the Song Dynasty, the scholars who obtained the "Golden Seal Jade Han" were Zhu Xi, a great scholar of a generation, who had works. During the Ming Dynasty, Liu Ji (written by Bowen) obtained the "Golden Seal Jade Han" and helped Zhu Yuanzhang establish the Ming Dynasty, and later retired unsuccessfully.

After four thousand years of circulating, the content of "Golden Seal and Jade Letter" has been scattered, added and deleted, or diverged, and many schools have emerged.

Zhou Xuan has roughly learned about the five metaphysics through the Internet of life.

He found that the five metaphysics techniques were really profound, and he became very interested and began to learn the five metaphysics techniques by himself. However, his learning progress was slow and he was all in a state of being half-understood. In these aspects, he could only be said to have a brief understanding, but he could not be proficient.

Without the guidance of a famous teacher, it is easy to take detours when working behind closed doors. And without practical operations, it is really difficult to understand the essence of it.

In fact, Zhou Xuan is quite familiar with the techniques of "Shan" and "Medical". His qigong and martial arts are both techniques of self-cultivation and character cultivation, and naturally they are considered to be part of the techniques of "Shan". And as the saying goes, medicine and martial arts are not divided. Therefore, he has a little bit of knowledge in medical skills.

Martial arts emphasize "training muscles, bones, skin and breathing outside". We must pay attention to the treatment of bruises and injuries, and also pay attention to the operation of meridians and qi and blood in the body. Practicing martial arts to strengthen the body, you will naturally have a good body. However, a detailed understanding of the body is also the basis for doctors to treat diseases and save lives.

Compared with "Mountain", "Medical", "Physic", "Fate", "Buddha" is more mysterious. Without a true famous teacher or secretary's classic, it is impossible to learn. Even if Zhou Xuan found some related books online, he did not dare to learn too much.

Because he could not determine the authenticity of those books, he could only use it as a reference to understand it briefly.

However, Zhou Xuan did not pursue the five metaphysics too much. Secretary classics are hard to come by. If he has the chance to obtain them in the future, it is luck. But if he can't get them, it's nothing bad. If he doesn't get them, it's not a pity. If he is too obsessed with these things, it's putting the cart before the horse.

In addition to talking about Taoism, Zhou Xuan and Taoist Master Simu also talked about other brothers in Maoshan.

Uncle Jiu didn't tell Zhou Xuan much about this before, and he didn't even tell Zhou Xuan and Wencai his own name.

I only know that everyone calls him Uncle Jiu, and he has been calling him until now. In fact, Uncle Jiu’s real name is Lin Fengjiao, and he is not very satisfied with it. Later, it was changed to Lin Fengjiu, so everyone calls him Uncle Jiu.

Taoist Simu had no scruples in this regard, including the embarrassing things he had done on Maoshan before, all of which were revealed.

Zhou Xuan heard it was very interesting, so he deliberately catered to Taoist Simu and asked Taoist Simu to continue talking.

In this way, Zhou Xuan and Taoist Master Simu sat down and talked, chatting from daytime to darkness.

Jiale, who was originally going out to fetch water, didn't come back until it was almost dark. It turned out that he was going to fetch water, and just happened to see Master Ikki and Jingjing go up the mountain to collect herbs. He felt that there were many jackals, tigers and leopards on the mountain, so he decided to protect Jingjing and the others up the mountain to collect herbs together. When he went down the mountain, he found that it was almost dark.

He rushed back in a hurry to wash his shoes and prepare supper.
