Chapter 1 Mysterious Mail

My name is Bai Jiangzuo. I am 24 years old and a college student in the Department of Archaeology of Lingnan University. Actually, I don’t like this major either.

But my parents worked in the Cultural Relics Bureau and were naturally interested in cultural relics. To put it bluntly, they were also from the city archaeological team.

I have no choice but to apply for an archaeology major, so I can be assigned to the Cultural Relics Bureau to take over their classes after graduation in the future.

Graduation is about to be graduated, and the classmates are discussing where to make a living after graduation. If the rich family is naturally not worried about making a living.

Those students of ordinary people don’t know where to go? While the students are busy finding a way out, the professor of the Department of Archaeology asked everyone to submit an archaeological report before graduation.

When everyone heard this headache, they were at a loss. I guess they might just find an ancient tomb, conduct exploration and excavation and write a report and submit it.

One night, a few roommates and I sat on the steps on the school playground, discussing the archaeological report.

Just then, an email suddenly came to my phone. I opened the email and it reads like this: Don’t ask me who I am, please follow the address above to find me.

When I saw this email, I really don’t know which stupid guy sent the email, and asked me to find him by the address. If you are a bad person or a pyramid scheme organization, wouldn’t I be in danger?

I ignored this email and continued to discuss the report with my roommate.

But he sent another email and said: If you come, I'll guarantee you a surprise.

Damn, you are not finished yet, so I replied: No matter who you are, please don’t send it again.

We returned to the dormitory, and I was ready to go to bed after packing up, but I suddenly had insomnia and kept thinking about the email in my mind.

After repeated consideration, I decided to meet the person. The next morning I finished breakfast, took the taxi and searched for it by this address.

I got off the bus in a small town. This town is really far from the city, and it cost me a lot of 120 yuan to get a bus fare.

This town is pretty good, it feels like an ancient town in Jiangnan. I wandered around the town for a long time, but I couldn't find that place

I cursed in my heart: Are you fooling me again? You don’t even have a exact address, just telling me to come to this town.

While I was scolding, the guy came to the message again, telling me that there was a fork in the north of the town and walked straight to the left, and he would see an antique shop.

He was waiting for me at the antique shop, and I searched again by the address. There was such an antique shop.

The storefront is not big or very eye-catching, and the store style is a bit ancient decoration style.

There were all kinds of antiques inside, and I could tell they were imitations as soon as I guessed. If they were genuine, the country would have taken them away long ago. Maybe I would say that this person was a cultural relic dealer and arrested him.

Just as I was admiring these imitation antiques, the owner finally showed up. He was a young man about the same age as me.

He said to me: Hello, are you Bai Jiangzuo? Since he still knows my name, I wondered: I am, is it the email you sent me? How come I still know my name?

Not only do I know your name, I also know what your parents did before? I know all about your three generations.

After hearing his words, my face changed drastically. Who are you and how do you know about my whole family?

He smiled and replied to me: Don't be angry, there is a reason I look for you. Please sit down and let me tell you slowly...
