259. Hunting

Almost every winter, El City is harassed by barbarian tribes. The Knights stationed in the city need to take turns to guard the city wall day and night. The Guard Battalion needs to ensure the safety of the entire city. A tall arrow tower is built on each section of the city wall. Above the arrow tower, there is a magic crossbow recently developed by the Green Emperor's Weapon Department. This fixed bed crossbow is condescending and can shoot barbarians from eight hundred steps away from each other. Each powerful crossbow is more than three meters long, as huge as a long spear. The knights and men in the guard battalion can have some confidence to defend the city walls of El City by relying on these sharp weapons to defend the city.

The knights of the guard battalion have been stationed in El City in recent years, but there has been no mistake. However, if these knights are allowed to go out of the city to pursue the barbarians scattered in the wilderness, not many people have such courage. Moreover, the senior officials of the guard battalion will not agree to use the safety of El City as a joke. Without the military orders from Sloyd Province, the guard battalion will not leave El City without authorization in winter.

For the robbery behavior of barbarians on the ice and snow tundra, it is not a good opportunity for many demon hunters hidden among the people. Many demon hunters will look for those lonely barbarians and find opportunities to kill those barbarians.

These barbarians are usually very poor. If they are hunted, it is difficult to find valuable things in them. The witch hunters in the adventure group usually go out of the city silently to prove their strength and sneak into the darkness to hunt those barbarians. Later, some people call these demon hunters "falcons".

Initially, the falcons were all high-level rangers, archers, assassins, and others. They had superb martial arts and powerful powers, and could easily hunt alone barbarians in the wild. Later, as the hatred with those barbarians continued to deepen, the barbarians realized that they should form some small teams to act together and avoid being alone as much as possible.

Hunting barbarians in the wild became increasingly difficult, and some falcons began to spontaneously form squads, walking in the dark, waiting for an opportunity to hunt down those barbarians.

The falcons in El City are not an official organization, but most of the people who are qualified to become falcons are elites in El City. I have heard stories about those falcons before, but I didn’t expect that this day would come so suddenly. I was just a level seven magic apprentice and was asked by Heidi’s mentor: I would like to be a falcon.

Naturally, I can't admit defeat in front of the magic tutor, especially because she knew some of my background, so I said with a hard neck: "Okay, I've long wanted to teach those barbarians some lessons to try!"

"Ha! It's not too small." Seeing that I agreed happily, Heidi was a little surprised, and she continued: "Okay, I'll give you three days of preparation. Three days later, gather in front of the teaching building of the School of Magic in the morning, and welcome you to become a new falcon in the School of Magic."

Tutor Heidi actually stood up and stretched out his hand formally, as if he wanted to get to know me again. I was a little flattered and grew up with my mouth, looked at her foolishly, and unconsciously reached out and held Teacher Heidi's hand, and immediately felt that her hand was actually cold.

Then Heidi's mentor issued an order to expel guests: "If there is nothing to ask, you can go out!"

I thought to myself: At least I should tell me some common sense to pay attention to!

But when the words came to my mouth, I immediately changed it to: "Uh... that, instructor Heidi, what do I need to prepare?"

She looked at me in surprise and said expressionlessly: "You need to prepare some daily equipment for traveling outdoors and take more clothes to protect against cold. The wilderness is much colder than in the city!"

Seeing that she had no intention of saying anything, I quickly got up and said goodbye. I knew that instructor Heidi had such a taciturn and indifferent personality.

Just as I turned around and pushed open the door of her office, she said another sentence that made me realize: "The outstanding magicians recommended by the Academy to the Royal Academy of Magic have all served as Falcons in the Academy."

Well, let’s not care whether our War Academy recommended that the seniors who have successfully been admitted to the Royal Academy of Magic, but this recommendation letter is crucial.

It turns out that the Royal Academy of Magic cannot register for the exam at will, but requires a letter of recommendation from the Academy of Magic.

I looked at Heidi with gratitude, but she didn't even look at me, and was busy processing some documents.

Just in the corridor of the teaching building outside the office, Morayaer was holding a thick magic book, wearing a dark green magic robe embroidered with magic patterns, and a magic wand with purple shirt hanging on her waist. She stood under an oil painting with a smile and looked at me quietly. She tied her refreshing ponytail and looked at me with inquiring eyes.

Every time I see her, I will feel an inexplicable feeling of relaxation. She is like a meter of sunshine in the green grass forest full of spring, with a hint of faint warmth.

I walked directly to her, and while there was no one in the corridor, I pulled her behind an ancient knight armor, looked at her bright eyes, and had not seen Moraya for several days. When I saw her, I realized that I missed her very much.

"Why did you suddenly run to school? Didn't you have no classes today?" Moraya'er also looked surprised. She was just a direct and simple girl, with wildness in the jungle in her bones.

I don't know what happened, but in an instant, a string in my heart was touched. I held her slender and soft waist with both hands, and when she was surprised to realize that I was going to do something excessive, my lips were already printed on her soft and wet lips, and her face suddenly turned red.

Never had a student from the Magic Academy dared to blatantly kiss a female magic teacher in the corridor of the teaching building. Although she was just an assistant teacher, such an extremely sensitive location made Morayaer very nervous.

Morayaer is nearly one head taller than me, so I have to light my feet and hook her swan-like neck to kiss her lips.

After all, she was particularly worried about being caught by other colleagues. Although the Magic Academy did not have this regulation, if the matter between us spread in the academy, I believe she would not be shameless and continue to teach in the academy.

Moraya's eyes became particularly bright, and with a faint joy, he quickly pulled me into her lounge.

"Hey, you're not going to the laboratory building to get the ink for the magic inscription class, why are you back so soon?" Sophie sat in this small lounge and carefully drew a magic scroll. Many magicians would make some simple magic scrolls in their spare time. Even if they only have a 50% success rate, they could make some pocket money. Almost all magicians would have the skill of making magic scrolls, but each magician could only skillfully draw one or two kinds of runes of magic pattern magic arrays.

Just like Sophie was drawing a magic scroll of "Space" in her hand, I was too familiar with the magic pattern structure of this scroll. After a slight glance, I could tell that she was drawing a magic scroll of "Space".

Sophie was not distracted by looking up at Morayaer, and she didn't see Ya following me behind me. I was worried that saying hello to her at this time would surprise her. If she agreed very much, she would completely fail to draw the magic scroll halfway, so she did not say hello to her. Morayaer just agreed vaguely.

Moraya is the kind of girl who is particularly bold as long as she loves her. Her affectionate kiss in the corridor has already aroused the love in her heart.

I entered Moraya's lounge, and at this time, only her best friend Sophie was there. She closed the wooden door casually and boldly pressed me against the door panel. A fire of enthusiasm burst out in her eyes, and her flexible and soft tongue suddenly reached into my mouth...

It was not until Sophie finished drawing the last stroke that she breathed a sigh of relief. While skillfully tied the scroll, she looked up and asked Moraya, "Let's go eat something at noon..."

Before she could finish her words, she saw Moraya and I kissing behind the door. Her sexy lips were very big. She raised her head and moved her eyes away. She said speechlessly: "Hey, you two... can't ignore my existence!"

...

Every Falcon, in the eyes of the residents of El City, is a hero, a warrior who can fight the barbarians directly without proof of whether they are really brave.

Not many people know about the news that I became a Falcon, and I didn't even dare to talk about it to Fanny and Ryante. I think it was just a futile thing to say that they were more worried. However, if Teacher Heidi came to me, he must have affirmed my ability and believed that I had enough strength to follow the Falcon Team to hunt barbarians in the wild.

This spring, I was intercepted by the barbarians of the Celtic tribe hidden in the mountains of the fishing lake, and I had a fight with them, but at that time I was very embarrassed, as if I only knew to run hard at that time, without even a trace of strength to fight back. However, after half a year, my situation has changed drastically. At least I am not afraid of the lonely barbarians in the wild now. I am sure that I can kill my opponent with the silver hunting rifle in my hand.

In fact, only Morayal and the Taurus Ruka knew about me becoming a falcon.

Moraya and Tracy's life have no intersection, so Tracy can't get news from Moraya. The only possibility is the whine she heard from the Tauren Ruka. I thought to myself that this stupid cow is really a big mouth.

Tracy was wearing a silk nightgown, occasionally pressing her nightgown on her body, and her beautiful figure was visible. She supported her elbows on the writing table, and her hands were holding her chin and looked at me with anticipation.

I shook my head and said very firmly: "No."

"Why can't?" Tracy's eyebrows immediately stood up. When she was angry, it was easy to identify. At this moment, she was on the verge of being angry. When she was in a bad mood, her eyebrows slightly raised up, and her smooth forehead frowned and looked a little cute.

"Dangerous." I said in a low voice, cherishing words like gold, and I was worried that the quarrel would be heard by Fanny and Ryante downstairs. After all, there was only a layer of wooden floors between us.

"It's not more dangerous if you only take Luka. Do you don't need me to protect you with such a magic apprentice who is powerless?" Tracy glared at her eyes and looked like a sister.

Well, I admit that she has already had the majesty of her sister recently. Since she washed my stinky socks, I felt that I could not argue with her.

"Although I was invited to be a Falcon, I have no right to invite you. I am just a newcomer. Maybe I will be qualified next year..." I explained patiently, but before I finished speaking, I was interrupted by Tracy again.

She stretched out her hand and held my shoulders and asked me to face her. I accidentally saw two raised spots from the grave under her silk pajamas. I quickly turned my eyes to the corner of the wall, and stopped after saying half of the words. Instead, Tracy didn't care at all and chased me and said to me, "I'm not going to join the Falcon. If it's so easy to join, the whole city will be filled with falcons. Why are we hiding in the city? Just go out all over the mountains and fields."

"You are a single and weak little magic apprentice, of course, you have to bring your entourage to the war with your entourage. How could that stupid cow take good care of you carefully? It's just a madman who fights and doesn't even want his life. Hello, I think you two have some similarities in this personality." Tracy's warm breath almost squirted on my face, and then said to me: "I want to be your entourage. When others ask, you just say to others like this! Say I am your entourage, you need to take care of your diet and daily life, and protect you!"

It seems that this was something she thought about in advance, and her mind is not so flexible and changeable.

"It's very dangerous outside, you can't go out and take risks! Fanny won't agree, and neither will Ryante, nor will I," I protested.

I deliberately said the savages' appearance of eating people, and tried to say it more terrifyingly: "The savages outside are. As long as they catch you, they will press your body with one hand and pull your head off with the other hand. They like to drink warm human blood."

I was a little nauseous, and Tracy's face turned blue and white.

"Then you need my protection even more. My swordsmanship is great. In our academy, no one dares to compete with me in the Western Sword!" Tracy has his own pride.

"I would rather you hold an axe on the battlefield. If you insert this sword, it is no different for those barbarians to bite a mosquito!" I want to hit her hard, so she might cancel her thoughts, so my words seemed a little mean.

"Then no one goes. I will talk to Fanny about this tomorrow morning, and she won't let you go either!" Tracy's stubbornness made me completely bigger.

But I need this action, and I also need the identity of Falcon. At least I need to use it as the key to knocking out the Royal Academy of Magic in Green. I need a letter of recommendation from the Academy of Magic.

So I compromised: "Okay, I promise you that I will take you with you, but you must listen to me in everything. If you can't do this, then you should stay at home as soon as possible!"
