Chapter 26 Forced to Help

The person who was standing in front was tall and had a rebellious look, giving Matthew a feeling that he owed him a lot of money.

"Hey, the country bumpkin!" Macon pointed to Matthew's side with his chin. He had already found out about this guy's situation from several American acting shows, "Stop!"

Although he didn't know what the other party came from, Matthew didn't want to pay attention to him. After all, this was in the crew. If the other party's mouth was smelly and he couldn't help it, it might be in trouble.

He just finished a role and then got a lot of money, so there is no need to take such risks.

The road is very wide, let alone two people, there is no problem passing by a trailer. Matthew made way for the other party to get around the guy and pass by the side.

Unexpectedly, the guy refused to give in and rushed over and stopped him.

"Rumber!" He stood a meter away, staring at Matthew, "Can't you hear me let you stop?"

Matthew stopped, frowned, and asked in anger, "Is there anything wrong?"

"You dare to steal my character!" Macon almost yelled.

"Who stole your role?" Matthew realized that the fool might be the actor who was replaced by Ridley Scott, but said, "It's inexplicable."

When Macon heard Matthew's bad tone, he stretched out a finger and pointed at him, "What did you say? Do you know who I am?"

The crew was still filming, and there were not many pedestrians on the road, but there were also a few. Seeing the two clashes, a few Roman soldiers dressed in an act of acting, stopped and stood not far away, preparing to watch the fun.

Before Matthew could speak, Macon said loudly again, "My name is Macon, from the Royal Academy of Drama! Remember, American Pig!"

He had a loud voice. Not only did Matthew hear this American pig, but he also heard it in the last performance not far away.

This is the northern part of Los Angeles. All of the last performances were Americans. When they heard that they were scolded for American pigs, they even said this from a British man, and their faces looked a little ugly.

The muscles on Matthew's face shook, and an urge to grab the finger pointing at him came out, but thinking that the conflict with someone in the crew might lead to the cost of eight thousand dollars, it still suppressed this urge.

"Is Macon?" Matthew sneered, "You are a lunatic! You are mentally disabled! You are mentally retarded! There is no one to teach you! You have no son! You are a bitch with a daughter! The whole family is a chicken tip! A hateful guy like you can only play a dregs of dung, which is not as good as the chewing gum sprinkled by dogs on the roadside. You have to go to the zoo to find a girlfriend..."

In just a moment, he spitted out a long list of national curses, without any repetition.

Macon was stunned, not understanding what Matthew was talking about at all.

Matthew is not a good guy, but he didn't get the eight thousand dollars. If he had changed to a place outside the crew, he would have turned this mentally retarded named Macon into a pig's head.

While the person blocking the road was stunned, Matthew wanted to go around and leave.

But how could Macon let him leave easily? He couldn't afford to offend Ridley Scott. He found this place just to extricate the suffocation in his chest.

He is a sweet boy in the ivory tower. With the strong recommendation of the academy and tutors, although he has never played the protagonist or something, he has been going well all the way. He has never been able to grab the role. Where did others steal his role?

"American pig!"

Macon roared, whirling his fist and hit Matthew in the face.

Although he didn't want to have a conflict, Matthew was always on guard against Macon. Seeing his fists fly over, he reached out and grabbed his wrist.

"You..." Macon only felt that the palm that grasped his wrist was quite rough.

Since the other party had taken action, Matthew didn't want to endure it anymore. His arm suddenly exerted force, and his palms tightened like iron pliers. Due to the extreme force, blue veins raised on the back of his hand.

"ah……"

The bone-thrusting pain came from his wrist. Macon screamed unconsciously, quickly waved his other arm and punched Matthew on the shoulder.

But he was grabbed by one of his arms and couldn't exert any force in the severe pain. The punch that hit Matthew's shoulder was no different from scratching.

Matthew was a little angry. Did this British guy really treat himself as a big star? He couldn't help but push forward with force when he grabbed the other person's wrist.

Macon immediately retreated, the force was a bit strong. He took two or three steps in a row before stopping.

But as soon as I stopped, I saw something flying over with the whistling wind.

Then, Matthew's open right hand slapped hard on Macon's face.

Bang-

The crisp sound was extremely loud.

"Good fight!"

Seeing that arrogant British man was beaten, several American performers shouted excitedly, "Try to beat this arrogant British man!"

Macon was stunned, with only a burning pain on his face, reminding him what had just happened.

But before he could come back to his senses, Matthew slapped his backhand and slapped him in the other side of the face.

"You..." Macon was woken up by the slap, touching the face that had hurt for a while, "You dare to hit me!"

"Ha..." Matthew withdrew his hand, knowing that he was a little impulsive, deliberately louder his voice, "I am defending myself!"

"You American pig!" Macon jumped up and wanted to fight back, "I won't let you go!"

"Macon, stop!" A figure hurriedly ran from behind Macon, "What are you doing!"

The one who came here was a tall and thin man in a well-fitted suit. When Macon saw him, he was like a child who lost a fight. When he saw his adult, his eyes turned red and he looked like he was about to cry at any time.

"Gor, come!" Macon shouted at Matthew, "He hit me!"

The tall and thin man came over a few steps and glanced at Matthew, "It's you!"

Before Matthew could speak, he said, "Very good! You stole Macon's role and violently hurt people, I..."

"I'm self-defense." Matthew interrupted him directly, "I'm not the one who takes action first."

The tall and thin man named Gore turned to see Macon. Of course, Macon would not admit it and shouted, "I just wanted to argue with him a few words, but he took action."

"I am Macon's agent Gore!" The tall and thin man introduced himself first, looking very British gentlemanly. "I remember your name is Matthew Horner, right? This situation..."

"Mr. Gore!" Matthew interrupted him again simply and roughly, "My agent is here, she will negotiate with you."

Behind Macon and Gore, opposite Matthew, Helen Herman and the bearded man were walking towards this side, and they had obviously seen him.

"What's going on?" Helen Hermann asked immediately after coming over.

She had made an appointment with Matthew, but she met a bearded man on the way, chatted for a few words, and delayed a little time.

"Your client..." Gore immediately responded, and Helen Hermann didn't even look at him, and said directly, "Sorry, I didn't ask you, sir."

Matthew suddenly smiled. The impression this female agent gave him was much better than that fat man Dennis Kurt.

"This gentleman stopped me." Matthew said as concisely as possible, "I said I snatched his role, insulted me as an American pig, and even hit people. I had no choice but to fight back."

"Forcing helplessness?" Gore pointed at the two bright red palm prints on Macon's face, "Is this called helplessness?"

The bearded man was also there, Gore pinched his waist and said, "I must give me an explanation for this! My client was beaten on the crew! I will complain to the actors' union!"

The bearded man looked at the calm Matthew, then looked at Macon, who looked embarrassed, and said nothing.

Gore said at this time, "Macon is William Morris's customer!"

William Morris is undoubtedly a behemoth in the entertainment brokerage industry and is the second only to CAA in the industry. Generally speaking, none of those small agents and actors dare to offend such a company.

Of course Gore knows some of his own clients’ virtues, but Macon has a good potential and a good network of connections, so he is very likely to become popular.

And in this case, as an agent, you must maintain your own clients, which is the most basic code and professional ethics.

Gore thought he could suppress the people on the other side after pulling out the mountain William and Morris.

But after he finished speaking, his eyes swept across the faces of the bearded man, Helen Hermann and Matthew one by one, and found that the faces of these three people were as normal and had no changes at all.

Big Beard is Ridley Scott's long-term partner. At this point, he doesn't care about the small brokerage at a big brokerage company.

Matthew had no idea how powerful William Morris was, and the ignorant was fearless.

As for Helen Hermann, if he can start a business from the CAA's mailroom, he will not care about the threat of such a small broker.

Matthew frowned and turned his head to look at it. The onlookers were there all the time. He simply said to Helen Herman, "This Mr. Macon insulted me as an American pig. Is this discriminatory language?"

"I didn't!" Macon immediately denied.

Matthew didn't care what he said, and came to Helen Hermann, signaled the people watching with his eyes, and whispered a few more words. Helen Hermann nodded slightly and went to find those people. The American performers followed her happily.

Seeing those people coming, Macon's face gradually turned pale, and only two palms were red.

Helen Hermann pointed to the men and said, "They have been watching since Mr. Macon stopped Matthew and witnessed the whole incident."

"Yes!" One of the actors pointed at Macon and said loudly, "This British man's mouth is not clean and he has been calling us American pigs!"

This typical regional discrimination annoyed them, especially as a British man.

"I..." Macon wanted to tell.

Another performance premiered, "The British not only scolded American pigs, but also attacked people!"

Helen Hermann smiled at Gore opposite him, and Gore's face looked very ugly.

"It was the British who started the move first!" another preview spoke, "We can all prove it!"

Macon couldn't speak at this time, so he could only stare at Matthew viciously. Matthew shrugged at him, and then spread his hands out.
