2664 The future of Turkey 2

"But judging from the current situation in Turkey, it is not realistic to become a powerful country comparable to Italy. Your country lacks internal cohesion, and the political system and government are in a mess. In the end, your domestic problems are very likely to completely drag down the empire. You are not confused. And I believe you are also determined and capable of completing this change that is crucial to Türkiye, right?" Feng Seckett said with some reason.

"I don't understand what you mean." Kemal was shocked. He naturally knew what the so-called change meant by this German general. Under the current circumstances, if he wanted to completely change a country, he would probably only use a radical method such as a military coup. This is similar to what the young Turkish Party did back then. The only difference is that Kemal will do more thoroughly! He does not want Sudan, religion does not affect politics! He wants to wipe out hundreds of years of bad habits on Turkey!

"You should understand, my friend. Don't be surprised by all this. The power of the first-class powers is not something you can imagine. Don't talk about the entire German Empire, even Bavaria, it will be a future existence beyond France. Its energy allows us to know a lot of things, even if you think you are confidential, even if your monarch knows nothing about it." Von Seckett said calmly. "Of course, you can rest assured that at least now, we have not used this to threaten you."

"Are you threatening? I didn't do anything. Your words are just to catch up with the wind and shadow." Kemal sneered.

"Actually, as a politician, I think you should understand the way of thinking of some superiors. There are many things that do not require evidence. As long as they feel the threat, they can be restricted or even eliminated. Especially for the current Sultan, he himself came to power in this way. The so-called injustice is him." Feng Seckett said.

"General, your topic is very unfriendly. If you provoke me like this, I think our conversation will end." Kemal said with a pale face.

"Some problems cannot be avoided just if you want to avoid them. Well, in order to keep this conversation going, we might as well be more tactful. What will happen if there is a major political turmoil in Turkey for some reason? Have you ever thought about it?" said Feng Seckett. It seems that he took a step back, but he never gave up the key to the problem! The fate of Türkiye in the future!

"Kemal, my friend. Don't avoid this problem, because when Turkey experiences internal turmoil, if there is no external force intervention, it will be easy to completely change the political landscape of Turkey. Even the Turkish nation may be divided! Because some of the Turks believe in religion, while others yearn for the West." Von Seckett's words hit Kemal's heart like a heavy shell. This is indeed what Kemal is worried about. Turkey is really a mess now, and the domestic ethnic and religious situation is even more chaotic than the Austro-Hungarian Empire!

The Youth Turkish Party pursues great Turkism, which actually denied the existence of other ethnic groups, including the Arabs and Kurds, and adopted high-pressure policies to rule the foreign races. It has no slightest empathy. This directly caused an opposition between the Turkish nation and other ethnic groups. More importantly, the Turkish nation does not have an absolute dominant position in the country, so this is a bit embarrassing.

What about Turkey? There are quite a few people who follow the old ways. When changes are to touch their interests, they will inevitably cause a strong rebound. In fact, after Kemal implemented reforms in history, religious people started a rebellion. So, now the problem has arisen. The Turkish nation is determined to suppress other nations and cannot do it. If there is another problem within Turkey, then it is very likely that the entire empire will collapse into a pile of fragments! Looking at the Prussia before the war and became two states after the war, Kemal felt a chill in his heart. After all, within the German Empire, everyone was still the same nation, and the fuse of Bavaria did not allow the split of the empire. But in Turkey? That is really no guarantee.

In fact, Kemal agrees with von Seckett's statement. Without the support of strong external forces, if the reformists cannot obtain enough power to control the country and suppress all oppositions in a short period of time, then once they become long-term, the division of the Turkish Empire will be inevitable!

Where can Turkey obtain strong foreign aid? From the United States? That is impossible! If Turkey is obsessed with it, I am afraid that the Germans will find a way to subvert Turkey's first power and then turn Turkey into small countries that are easier to control!

If you want to gain recognition or even support from Germany, what price will Turkey pay? This price will never be small! And now, General Von Seckett's arrival is just a reminder for himself. If he goes to Bavaria and meets the crown prince, it will be time for a showdown. If he is careless, he will lose all the game!

"I am very annoyed and confused about the current situation of the Turkish Empire. I know that some things must be done. If you don't do them, you will be waiting for death. If you do them, there is still a way out! I may have a rough vision, but I don't know how to implement them." Kemal said very honestly.

"It doesn't matter, you have enough time to consider this matter now. I know your idea. In fact, in the future, you want Turkey to become a Western template country, and then adhere to neutrality in international relations, get along with the right and right. Rely on the contradictions between powerful countries to develop yourself. As a Turk, your idea is understandable. But reality tells us that if you have received help from Germany and treat Germany and other countries equally, we will feel very dissatisfied because our efforts and kindness have been forgotten. As a great power, there is no reason to suffer losses but not fight back."

"And don't think that Americans will have nothing to ask for. When they realize that Turkey cannot stand on their side, in order to prevent the empire from having a reliable and powerful ally in the Middle East, Americans will likely directly destroy the country. Think about it, is this the truth?" said Feng Seckett.
