Therefore, the IT system must have a very powerful data processing core, which can instantly process weak targets and various pseudo-target signals detected under the background of infrared, light and strong field of view to form valuable and continuous aerial situation information reflected on the cockpit display system of the fighter pilot. This requires the data processing core to have the ability to process millions of polygons in an instant. This is the key and difficulty of the success of the IT system.

Judging from the development history of the electronics industry, until the mid-1990s, there were very few data processors that could meet the IT system. When the Sony Playstation game console, which was known as the top hardware function, was released at the end of 1994, the polygon processing barely reached more than 300,000 yuan per second, and it was still a long way to meet the demand of the IT system for millions per second.

"Uncle Ning. I have seen foreign technical documents that the bottleneck of the current IR tracking and search system lies in data processing. With the rapid development of large-scale integrated circuit technology, the performance of processors has been doubled. More importantly, in Liang Yuan's opinion, it is entirely possible that the IT system will be launched in advance. If a single chip is not good, you can use a blade server. The blade server is small in size and light in weight. After the C2 processor in the Science and Technology Park has developed for three to four generations, the main frequency should be close to 30mhz. At that time, 8-32 chips will be connected to form a small computing cluster, which should be able to meet the polygon processing capabilities of the IT system of millions/second. Of course, using the IR tracking and search system for server data processing, the aircraft is still a bit overweight, but it should be installed on a ship without any pressure.
