Chapter 21 Life Experience

"Since you are interested, I will talk about my family background - it was told to me by my grandmother when I was a child.

My grandfather and my grandfather were classmates back then. When the Fusang people invaded, they had just entered the first year of junior high school and studied at the National Qianjiang University Affiliated High School. Later, the southeast fell, and President Zhu Kezhen led all teachers and students to move westward.

They finished high school in the rear, and in 1944, Principal Jiang called for "one inch of mountains, rivers, one inch of blood". After they calculated the plan, they joined the army and were organized into the 204th Division of the 31st Army.

After the war, I thought I could retire from the army and continue my studies, but I was in the process of fighting the civil war. The 31st Army returned to the hometown to guard the garrison, and the Beijing-Shanghai police officers who were organized by Chief Tang were arrested by the headquarters.

In the last year of the civil war, the 204th Division stationed in Hujiang. Originally, the student army was the direct descendant of Huangpu, so it was decided to retreat to Wanwan. As a result, in April, the northern troops crossed the river. Liu Anqi from Qingdao retreated slowly, and Hujiang was lost too quickly. When the city was broken, the ships originally intended for the student army to retreat were still occupied by Qingdao retreating troops on the sea.

The troops could only defend the enemy, and a very small number of people got the tickets for civilian ships to retreat. When I was a child, I heard from my elders that it was so miserable at that time. Many people took out their family's belongings to escape for the ticket.

My grandfather met my grandmother at that time. My grandmother’s father was Long Xiaosheng, the commander of the 204th Division. When the disaster was about to come, there was not enough tickets for the boat. He only took his young son to Wanwan, and his wife and daughter were abandoned. My grandfather had received the kindness of the superior, so he protected the orphan he abandoned and later married him home."

Gu Cheng couldn't remember this clearly when he said this. He scooped some chili and put it in the chicken soup, drank half a bowl of sobering the wine before he sorted out his thoughts and continued to talk.

"The world has changed, and life has to be lived. My grandfather and grandfather were both low-level officers, so they surrendered. Because they were student soldiers and were well-versed in water, they were recruited into the 3rd Field Ninth Corps on the site, and they were trained in landing wars on the Sishan Islands. In 50 years, they were preparing to land and recover Bay.

My grandfather married the chief's daughter secretly and did not want to kill each other with his relatives. That year, he was seriously ill and quit the front-line troops on the excuse.

My grandfather did not have this psychological burden and continued to serve. As a result, after training for several months, the outbreak of the Yi War, the Mid-English Army fought to the Yalu River, and the Ninth Corps temporarily transferred to the north to participate in the war... As for that war, your history books are no less than ours, so I don't need to say more."

Quan Shunyu heard this and stood up.

His first subconscious reaction was hatred, and then he felt fantasy and finally turned into relief.

Gu Cheng is actually the descendant of the "enemy".

Well, there have been two generations of war, why bother?

"What are you doing? Brother Cheng is a good person, sit down." Quan Baoya was afraid that his brother and Gu Cheng would turn against each other, so he pulled his brother back to his seat.

Is this a good person stuck?

Gu Cheng didn't mind either. He knocked the wine bottle on the table, took out a bag of treasured soft China, and pointed two of them side by side, put them in his mouth at the same time, squinted at Quan Shunyu, complaining:

"What? I want to spend all my friends with me now? I don't care."

No one can accompany you to hand over the cigarettes, and at worst you can smoke two of them together.

Living people can even suffocate to death by urine.

Quan Shunyu shook his index finger and poked Gu Cheng, feeling angry and amused: "I was just a little surprised. You kid are more sensitive than me, and you dare to take the initiative to mention all your friends - and then say!"

While talking, Quan Shunyu snatched one from Gu Cheng's cigarette box in anger and lit it.

Quan Shunyu was right when he thought about it. Gu Cheng's grandmother was originally from the Dongyi tribe, and it was normal for him to want his grandson to return to her hometown to see her.

Gu Cheng opened the last bottle of soju on the table, stopped using the cup, and just stuffed it in one go.

"If I become rich one day, I must kill Soros legally. I hope that old Jewish dog will not die too quickly."

Then he fell asleep.

Quan Shunyu couldn't understand for a while, but just shook his head and smiled bitterly.

"Just you?"
