The entire city was almost flattened.

There is no army, no armed force.

It seems like this is just an empty shell of a city.

There were some vehicles speeding on the road, all fleeing outside the city. There were also some lights in the city, but they were not brightly lit.

This city is very strange. There are modern cities everywhere, with a large population, but there is no atmosphere of life.

From another perspective, the people here seem to have already anticipated the monster that will appear out of thin air and started evacuating first.
