Chapter 584 Golden Relic Liquan Spear
For the fifth red envelope in another world, Zhou Rui received the "Golden Body Relic" in "Legend of Jigong".
This golden body relics are the relics created by Jigong after his death in the world.
Moreover, this relic is not an ordinary relic.
It is the golden relics formed.
Regarding relics, Zhou Rui also has them.
And it is also the Buddha bone relics of Sakyamuni.
This relic is precious.
However, this thing has no marks.
You said this is the relics of Sakyamuni, who believes it?
I have the kind of show evidence.
If so, things will be awkward.
Zhou Rui has nothing to do with evidence that this is Shakyamuni's relics.
DNA identification?
joke.
Genetic testing?
Have fun!
This is no different from turning into ashes to recognize people.
······
There are actually many types of relics.
In the Vedic era of ancient India, there were two burial methods: burial and cremation. Burial and retain the whole body are the whole body relics, and cremation is the broken body relics.
The whole body relics, broken body relics, and the Bodhisattva’s Bodhisattva sutra are also mentioned. The Lotus Sutra mentions that the Buddha’s whole body relics are made of pagodas and offerings.
In Nanhua Zen Temple in Shaoguan, eastern Guangdong, there are the relics of the Sixth Patriarch Huineng.
For the broken body relics obtained from cremation, "Fayuan Zhulin" believes that the bone relics are white, the hair relics are black, and the flesh relics are red.
"The Book of the Buddha's Relics" mentions that Buddha's relics have five colors and cannot be damaged.
In addition, in the book "The Sutra of Bathing Buddha's Merits", it is also mentioned that there are two types of Buddha's relics: Body and bone relics and Dharma chant relics.
After the Buddha's Nirvana, not only did the remains of the physical body and bones leave relics, but also the Dharma, and it was spread throughout the world with Buddhist scriptures as a carrier. The Buddha's teachings are Dharma body relics.
The Dharma Song Relics are the manifestations of the Dharma body. Buddhism is like diamonds, solid and indestructible. The Dharma body is indestructible and indestructible.
The Vajra Indestructible Relics of Buddhism are extended to physical body relics, so it is believed that the Buddha's body bone relics cannot be broken.
"Fayuan Zhulin" says: "If a Buddha's relics are not broken, the vertebrae cannot be broken; if a disciple's relics are not broken, the vertebrae can be broken."
The vertebrae here cannot be broken, even if it comes from the indestructible thought of the Dharma body Vajra. In fact, the Buddha's physical body will also show impermanence and destruction as usual.
The Buddha's body bone relics and Dharma body relics are often viewed equally. The Buddha's remains are regarded as the Buddha's body or representative of the Dharma. As the "Mahaprajnaparamita Sutra" says: "If you see the Tathagata's relics, you are seeing the Buddha", and it also says: "Publicity of relics is the Buddha's treasure, and seeing the Buddha is the Dharma body."
The relics in Zhou Rui's hand are the "bone-breaking relics" formed after cremation.
And it was the relics formed on the skull after Jigong passed away and cremated.
Rare exception.
Not only that, after the skull of the living Buddha Jigong was turned into a relics, the monks in Lingyin Temple also created a golden Buddha statue for him.
This Buddha statue is not very big.
It is ten feet tall and is almost entirely cast from gold.
Most of this gold was donated by some rich people, thanks to the Living Buddha Jigong for his contribution to them.
What contribution?
In "The Legend of Jigong", in order to save the world, the living Buddha died together with the last evil demon.
Death and the light goes out.
Only one body was left.
Later, everyone from Lingyin Temple cremated Jigong's body.
Dozens of relics appeared.
The largest one is enshrined in the "Sarirato Tower".
The skull relics were placed in the golden Buddha statue of Jigong and wrapped in it.
This golden Buddha statue of Jigong is engraved with various Buddhist scriptures.
In addition, the merits of the living Buddha Jigong are also recorded.
Of course, there are some things about subduing demons and eliminating demons, which is a bit nonsense.
On the golden Buddha statue, the handwriting is as big as a fly's head, densely packed.
Later, the golden Buddha statue was chanted by monks, Buddhas, and the people around him.
According to rumors, the scene was very spectacular.
Even more than 10,000 people.
Nine days later, it is said that a Buddhist saw the Buddha's arrival and led Jigong to the world of "Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss".
And Jigong also had the "Buddha" position.
······
Therefore, Jigong's reputation was completely spread and he became a living Buddha.
The various relics that he degenerated after his death were also worshipped as holy relics by everyone.
Several of them were even used to suppress the "evil demons".
Seal the demon.
In ancient India during the Buddha's era, there were four types of burial methods: cremation, water burial, earth burial, and forest burial.
The Buddha listed cremation as the first of all kinds of burial methods, and the Buddhist sect has continued to this day.
Before the Buddha entered the extinction, he instructed his disciples to collect relics and build pagodas and temples so that future generations could admire the Tathagata's fortune when they saw the pagoda.
After the Buddha was destroyed, the disciples set up incense wood and burned the Buddha's body according to the instructions. After cremating the Buddha's relics, the Buddhist disciples obtained the "eight hu and four dou" from the ashes.
According to the existing Buddhist relics and Buddhist scriptures, we can know that there are roughly two types of Buddhist relics: one is the remains of unburned bones, such as four teeth, and only two are left, one piece of finger bone, two clavicles, part of the skull and a few hairs, etc.; the other is the pearl-shaped relics as bright and solid as five-color beads described in "The Book of the Buddhists".
Therefore, Jigong's treatment is quite high.
······
Zhou Rui looked at the golden Buddha statue in his hand and felt it was heavy.
In this golden Buddha statue, there is a relics hidden.
Of course, there is nothing to see from the outside. Only by breaking the relics can you get the relics inside.
However, Zhou Rui would not do such a thing as killing chickens and retrieving eggs.
It is better to let it hide it in it.
In the sixth red envelope of another world, Zhou Rui received a divine weapon, Liquan spear.
The Liquan Spear is the magic weapon of the anti-Jin hero Yue Fei.
There are three heroes in West Lake, namely Yue Fei, Yu Qian and Zhang Cangshui.
All three of them have an indissoluble bond with West Lake, so they are called "Three Heroes of West Lake".
At the foot of Qixia Ridge in the northern mountain of West Lake, there are the Southern Song national hero Yue Fei and the Ming Dynasty national hero Yu Qian at the foot of Santai Mountain in Nanshan. The two tombs and temples echo each other, like a twin gems reflecting, forming two beautiful scenery in the north and south of West Lake. Therefore, the Qing Dynasty poet Yuan Mei said: "With Yue Yu Shuang Shaobao, the world begins to realize the rejuvenation of West Lake."
The Liquan spear was used by Yue Fei, a famous general in the anti-Jin period. It was 18 feet long and was transformed by a spiritual snake.
In "The Complete Biography of Yue", the origin of this gun is described as follows: "Yue Fei left the temple gate and turned to the back. He saw a ray of flowing spring in the middle of the mountain. On the side, there was a large stone engraved with the four big words "Liquan Qipin", but it was Su Dongpo's handwriting. Yue Fei saw that there was a stone cave on the spring, and a big snake head stretched out from the cave, with eyes everywhere, saliva flowing out from his mouth, dropping into the water.
Yue Fei thought, "What are the benefits of this evil beast, what's in his mouth? It's dripping into the water...waiting for me to beat him to death."
Then he put down the tea bowl, picked up a big stone, looked at it with kindness, and looked at the snake's head. It was still possible to hit it without hitting it. This hit was not biased or crooked, and hit it on the snake's head. He could only hear a sound of crying, and in an instant, the star mist was covered; the eyes of the snake's copper bell showed golden light, and opened its mouth like a bloody pot. Looking at Yue Fei's face, Yue Fei hurriedly turned his body to the side, let the snake's head go, and dragged the snake's tail with a loud sound. When he looked at it again, he was holding a snake's tail, but it was a golden spear that was eight feet long, with four words "Liquan Divine Spear" on the gun. Looking back at the spring water, it was dry. There was no drop."
