108 pills - means seeking the 18 samadhi of correctness and eliminating one hundred and eight kinds of afflictions. The 108 kinds of afflictions are generally said to be the six senses, namely the eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind, each with suffering, happiness, and abandoning three feelings, which are combined into eighteen kinds.

The six senses have their own good, evil, and balance, and are combined into eighteen kinds, with a total of thirty-six kinds, and then the three lives are combined into one hundred and eight kinds of troubles.

54 - represents the fifty-four levels of Bodhisattva's practice, namely the ten faiths, ten practices, ten dedication, ten stages, and four good roots.

42 - represents the forty-two levels of the Bodhisattva's practice process, namely the ten abductions, the ten practices, the ten dedication, the ten stages, the equal enlightenment and the wonderful enlightenment.

36 pills - the same meaning as 108 pills. For the convenience of carrying, 108 pills are divided into three parts.

27 - represents the twenty-seven wise positions of the Hinayana practice of the four directions and four fruits, namely the eighteen learning of the first four directions and the nine unlearning of the Arhat, the fourth fruit.

21 pieces - represent twenty-one, including the ten stages, the ten paramitas, the Buddha fruit.

18 - commonly known as "Eighteen Sons", among which the so-called "Eighteen" refers to the "Eighteen Realms", namely the six senses, six dusts, and six consciousnesses.

Six senses: 1, eye realm, 2, ear realm, 3, nose realm, 4, tongue realm, 5, body realm, 6, mind realm;

Six dusts: 1, color dust, 2, sound dust, 3, fragrance dust, 4, taste dust, 5, touch dust, 6, Dharma dust;

Six consciousnesses: 1, eye consciousness, 2, ear consciousness, 3, nose consciousness, 4, tongue consciousness, 5, body consciousness, 6, consciousness.

14 pills - indicates that Guanyin Bodhisattva is in the same compassion and worship all sentient beings in the ten directions, the three worlds, the six realms, etc., allowing all sentient beings to obtain fourteen kinds of fearless merits.

The 12 beads represent the "twelve links of dependent origination".

There are twelve beads in the bracelet in Zhou Rui’s hand.

Most of the bracelets sold on the market now have twelve small ones, and the length is usually 108!
