In the world of Taixu, there are three levels of skill in entering tranquility: one is the tranquility of the body, two is the tranquility of the mind, and three is the tranquility of the mind.

The body is not moving. It is called body tranquility. When you enter tranquility, your body and mind are relaxed. When you do it just right, although the practice time is long, your heart is not irritable and there is no unbearable feeling in your body. As long as you can sit, sit easily, or even feel comfortable, and you don’t want to move anymore, this is to achieve physical tranquility.

If the thoughts are not moved, it is called calmness of the mind. People's thoughts are circling around and all thoughts are mixed. If you can listen to the qi with your mind, unite the qi, and have no distracting thoughts. All kinds of things are let go, you will not recall the past, you will not worry about the things in front of you, you will not plan for the future, and your thoughts will completely enter a state of nothingness, and the inner world will be completely quiet. No thoughts arise in your mind. That is, the mind is calm.

Not knowing that there is self is called tranquility. After there is no thought in the mind, there is still a "I" that has not been completely clean. Going further, from the unity of mind and energy, you will forget yourself and enter a state of chaos. Empty but not empty. There is but not exist, and you will continue to achieve the level of selflessness. Only by realizing tranquility is the high level of tranquility.

In the stage of self-cultivation and foundation building, as long as you can achieve physical tranquility, you can barely pass and officially start practicing. If you can achieve mental tranquility, you will have a high score, and the effect will be better after starting formal cultivation. If you can achieve the highest level of mental tranquility, that is the full score, and the effect of cultivation is much better than that of mental tranquility.

If you can pass the test of the illusion of the mind, the level you can reach when you enter tranquility is the lowest level, and the higher level you are the tranquility of the mind. Yin Zhiping has been tested by the illusion of the mind for twenty years, and the level you can reach now is the highest level you can reach. This is also the requirement of the stage of refining the foundation building before the "Tianhuan True Method" formally practiced.

Because the Heavenly Illusion True Art is based on illusions, it is most likely that the illusion is confusing when practicing, so the requirements for the cultivation of mind and the tranquility are higher than other techniques. This is actually considered by practitioners. If they fail to meet the requirements, they will force themselves to practice, and it will easily lead to problems. In the history of the cultivation of the Heavenly Illusion True Art, there are many such examples.

When teaching the Heavenly Illusion True Method, Yunmeng also emphasized this point to Yin Zhiping. Therefore, before officially starting his practice, he did not dare to ignore it at all. Although he had experienced the test of the Heart Tribulation Illusion Realm and successfully passed it, there was no problem in refining the mind, he still did not immediately start practicing the Heavenly Illusion True Method after returning to the real world.
