Chapter 9 Entering the Ancient Tomb, Searching for the Beautiful Woman
(First update, please vote)
After wiping the part of the "Nine Yin Sutra" written by Wang Chongyang on the top wall, Yin Zhiping was stunned for a moment, looking at the other passage leading to the ancient tomb above in the stone chamber, and thought to himself: "Do you want to go up and meet Mochou?"
After hesitating for a while, he decided to go up and take a look. Even if he couldn't find Li Mochou for a while, it was always right to explore the way first. He looked up at the general road map of the ancient tomb carved in the southwest corner of the top wall, and looked carefully and studied it carefully. However, he had not destroyed the road map carved in this place and was still here.
After a while of careful reading, he turned around and walked into the passageway leading to the ancient tomb above. After entering the passageway, there was a bend. After turning, there was a short passage about two meters long. At the end of the passageway, there was a row of stone levels extending upwards.
Yin Zhiping walked over with the torch and shone the flames. He saw about ten steps. The top step was connected to the stone wall on the top. Looking at the top wall, he saw a rectangular wall about three feet wide and nine feet long in the middle, which was obviously different from other places. The material was the portal to the top.
Yin Zhiping climbed up the steps and climbed five or six steps. He could already raise his hand to touch the top wall. He paused and took a torch to look carefully on the stone door on the top wall. He saw a handle in the middle of the left hand. He reached out and held it, followed the instructions on the road map, and turned left first. He heard a "click" sound, as if the mechanism was started. Then he pushed it up hard, and the stone door opened upwards.
While pushing upwards, he continued to step up the steps. When he pushed it away completely, he took the torch and looked up the top and found that it was indeed a coffin. However, the coffin lid was only half covered.
Yin Zhiping hurriedly took the torch away and hid it under the stone wall at the stone gate, preventing the fire from illuminating it, in case someone was discovered. He hid the torch, listened carefully, and then leaned out the open stone gate on the wall of the sarcophagus, continued to pick up the steps, and stopped until the top of his head was about to reach the prescription for the sarcophagus lid. Then he first looked outside. Seeing that there was a wide stone chamber outside, there was no figure in him, he took out the torch, leaped lightly, and jumped out of the coffin.
Looking around with the light of a torch, I saw that the stone chamber was very wide, about five or six feet in a circle. There was nothing else in the stone chamber. There were only five sarcophagus in the middle. The two sarcophagus from the right were covered tightly, and the coffin lids had been sealed. The other three sarcophagus were only pushed up halfway, and the sarcophagus he came out was the last one. If counted from the left, it was the first one.
The two that had been sealed tightly, Yin Zhiping knew that the first one on the right was the body of Lin Chaoying, the ancestor of the ancient tomb sect. The second one in the sarcophagus was Li Mochou and Xiaolongnu's master, that is, the maid of Lin Chaoying. As for the name, he didn't know and never asked about Li Mochou. The remaining three coffins with half of the lids were left for Li Mochou, Xiaolongnu and Grandma Sun respectively.
There was nothing good to see except for the five sarcophagus here. Yin Zhiping looked at it casually and found the door to the stone chamber. He walked over and first posted it at the door and listened to the movement outside, then slowly opened the heavy stone door and tried not to make any noise.
From the front portal of the ancient tomb, the stone chamber where the sarcophagus is placed is at the end of the ancient tomb. The living spaces and activities of Xiaolongnu and Grandma Sun are all in a small part of the front of the ancient tomb. This last location is rare except for coming to worship every year or when the dead are placed here to settle.
Yin Zhiping opened the stone door and went out, and looked around and there was still no one in sight. He opened the tart cloth package in his arms and took out the roadmap of the ancient tomb he copied when he first came. He looked carefully and walked forward.
The ancient tomb was excavated and built by Wang Chongyang as a base for his anti-Jin rebel army. It not only contained many food, grass and weapons, but also thousands of soldiers. It was very large in scale. Later, after losing to Lin Chaoying here, Lin Chaoying only had two people, including her maid. Later, there were only three people with Grandma Sun. After Lin Chaoying passed away, two were left. It was not until her maid took Li Mochou and Xiaolongnu as disciples that it was the most crowded, with a total of four.
Now Hong Lingbo and Li Mochou have returned to the master's sect one after another, and the people have returned to the four at the most. But let alone the four, even if there are ten times more and forty, their range of activities is still limited compared to this huge ancient tomb, and it is impossible to occupy any of them.
After understanding this, Yin Zhiping became bolder. At least in the back part, there was no need to be so careful at any time. He immediately strides and only listens to the movements around him.
I don’t know how long it took to leave, but the torch was about to burn out. After checking the drawings in my hand, I looked at the halfway through and approached the first half.
Yin Zhiping only brought a torch this time. At this time, he was about to burn out, so he simply threw the rest into the ground. His current skills were no problem in seeing things in the dark night. Anyway, he didn't need to read books and read words, and most of the routes on the drawings were remembered. At this time, he approached the first half and was close to the range of activities of Xiaolongnu and others. So he simply walked in the dark to prevent the light of the torch from attracting attention. The next road was more careful than before, because it was possible to bump into Xiaolongnu and others at any time.
The direction and location he went to was exactly where the main entrance of the ancient tomb was. According to his guess, the living and range of activities of people in the ancient tomb should be opened around the portal, so that it is convenient to get close to the door and enter and exit.
After walking forward for about one to two quarters of an hour, Yin Zhiping had already heard some sounds coming from the front. He knew that he was close to the range of Xiaolongnu and others' activities, so he became even more careful.
Along a passage and turned a corner, Yin Zhiping suddenly saw light coming from a stone chamber in front of him with unclosed doors. He immediately touched the stone wall and touched it more carefully. Nearly three or four feet away, he suddenly smelled the aroma of food from the stone chamber. He couldn't help but think to himself: "Is this a kitchen?"
He walked over carefully. He leaned against the door and looked in. He saw Grandma Sun's figure feeling heartbroken inside. According to the arrangement, the utensils seemed to be in the kitchen. There was a stove in the corner of the wall. Pots, pans, chopping boards, etc. were placed on the stone table next to the stove. Grandma Sun was facing away from the door, cutting something on the chopping board.
Yin Zhiping took a look and took advantage of Grandma Sun's not turning back, and flashed through the door like a shadow, Grandma Sun inside did not notice it at all.
But after walking a while, after reaching a fork in the road, Yin Zhiping couldn't help but stop with some worry. The two passages were connected to each other, and he didn't know which stone chamber Li Mochou lived on which side. Although he had a general road map of the ancient tomb, this map was left by Wang Chongyang decades ago, and it would not be marked where Li Mochou, Xiaolongnu and others lived. And Li Mochou was not the only one here, so he could not yell and lead Li Mochou to hear the sound. If he shouted like that, he would only lead everyone out.
After frowning for a while, he thought of a stupid solution, and then he had no choice but to retreat to the kitchen, hid in a bend, monitored the movements in the kitchen at any time, and then waited patiently.
Since Grandma Sun was cooking, it was obviously about to be when the few people in the ancient tomb were about to start their meal. When the food was ready, whether Grandma Sun's name was Li Mochou, Xiaolongnu, Hong Lingbo, or she came to have a meal together, or she sent it to the three of them separately, he had a chance to follow Grandma Sun to find Li Mochou.
Fortunately, he didn't wait long before he saw Grandma Sun walking out of the kitchen, then reached out and pushed open the stone door of a stone room opposite the kitchen. In a moment, light also came from the stone room. Grandma Sun must have lit a candle or oil lamp inside.
After the room lighted up, Grandma Sun turned back and walked back to the kitchen. Within a moment, she walked out with two plates and walked into the stone room opposite. She went back and forth several times, and brought several dishes prepared in the kitchen one by one.
Yin Zhiping saw Grandma Sun's actions and guessed in his heart that the stone room opposite should be the canteen in the ancient tomb. After cooking in the kitchen, he would eat nearby.
Grandma Sun went back and forth several times, and almost finished serving the dishes. When she walked out of the stone room opposite the kitchen again, she did not turn back into the kitchen, but walked forward along the passage.
After Yin Zhiping walked through a bend, he walked out of the hiding bend, walked to the kitchen door, and took a look at the stone room opposite. But he saw that the stone room was not big, and he looked about two or three meters in a radius. In the middle of the stone room was a round stone table, with several dishes on the table, and there were several stone drum stools next to the table. On a stone candlestick, there was a candle. Seeing that it was indeed a dining hall, Grandma Sun left, and the reason was that Li Mochou and others came to have dinner. Instead of going forward to follow Grandma Sun, he turned back to his hiding place.
After returning to the hiding place and hiding it, not long after waiting, Yin Zhiping saw a figure flashing in the passage, and Xiaolongnu and Li Mochou walked over side by side. Behind the two was Hong Lingbo, and behind Hong Lingbo was Grandma Sun.
Seeing the four people coming, he hurriedly shrank his head back to prevent being seen by the four people. Then he listened to the footsteps of the four people and calculated the distance from the kitchen and the canteen. He was about two meters away from the door of the kitchen and the canteen. When he heard Li Mochou and Xiaolongnu walked side by side to the door of the canteen, he poked out another eye and saw where Li Mochou was. He used the skill of sending the voice into a secret, forced the sound into a line, and sent it to Li Mochou's ear and said, "Mochou, I am hiding behind the bend in front of you. Come and find me after you finish your meal."
This voice transmission is to force the sound into a line, and then use internal force to send it to the listener's ears. Even if the person next to him is close to him, he cannot hear it. So he sent the voice to Li Mochou at this time, and he was not afraid that the little dragon girl next to him would hear it.
Li Mochou was walking by himself when he suddenly heard Yin Zhiping's familiar voice in his ears. He couldn't help but be surprised and his face couldn't help but change color. Fortunately, Hong Lingbo and Grandma Sun were behind her, and Xiaolongnu beside her just looked at the road ahead and didn't turn to look at her, but no one noticed it.
She was shocked and immediately stopped her face and replied as usual. Then she glanced at the curve ahead, but found nothing. But at this time, Xiaolongnu was next to her, knowing that Yin Zhiping didn't dare to show any clues. She thought to herself: "No matter if you hear it wrong, you will know the difference later after you go over and take a look."
