15. Hydra. Advance in Divergence-Thanks to the Silver Alliance of the Taipa Brothers, Mayor of Novic(1/2)
Daniel Whitehall, whose real name is Warner Reinhardt, was born in 1918 and is an Austrian.
He was a fanatical *** when he was young and joined the German logistics system as a researcher. Later, he was photographed by the Red Skull Schmidt and became one of the scientists of Hydra.
He is a disciple of Red Skull, who helped Red Skull find the cosmic cube in his hometown of Austria during World War II. Well, the energy core that Merlin brought back from the experiment of the Kreeman Mar Will.
In short, Mr. White Hall has a high status in the current Hydra system. He represents the inheritance of Hydra. However, he does not have the strength to match his status.
"You were pretty handsome when you were young."
Merlin browsed White Hall's memory, probably because White Hall did not resist when he was discouraged, so the process of reading the memory was very smooth.
He saw White Hall in black military uniform when he was young. I have to say that when this villain was young, he did have a handsome face, but at that time, under his beautiful skin, there was already a demonic heart hidden.
Among the fragments of memory that flashed by, Merlin saw White Hall using mutants and aliens in the prisoner-of-war camp to conduct experiments.
He personally dissected them, men, women, elderly people and even children.
He discussed with his infamous mentor about the power source of Inhumans and Mutants, and every time he got a new idea, an innocent person would die.
"Ms. Carter was indeed heroic when she was young."
Merlin skips these bloody memories and he quickly finds the scene where White Hall is arrested.
In the memory of this Hydra, when she was young, Ms. Carter rushed into Austria's base with a roaring commando, and grabbed White Hall, who was about to escape with the obelisk.
Maybe at that time, Ms. Carter shouldn't have been ruthless and killed this bastard with one shot, and there would be no such bad things in the future.
Later, from 1945 to 1987, White Hall was imprisoned in the prison of the Strategic Science Legion for 42 years. He also changed from a young and ambitious young man to an old man who was already in trouble even when he was unable to move.
Merlin saw White Hall in an interrogation room and said in a earnest tone to Ms. Carter standing outside the darkness:
"I am willing to join the 'paper clip' operation, I am willing to serve you, I have a lot of ideas for bio-fortification, I have a complete plan, and enough experience, you need me!"
He said to Page Carter in front of him in a nearly requesting tone:
"I can really help me, I don't even need freedom, just let me leave that cell"
"You are indeed the kind of scientist we need, Mr. Reinhart."
In this memory, Ms. Carter, who had long hair, held a book of information in her hand and said to White Hall in a cold tone:
"But we don't think you're suitable to join the 'paper clip' action. We consulted some of your previous 'friends' who said you are not trustworthy. Therefore, your application was rejected."
"No!"
White Hall stood up and he tried to refute, but was quickly pressed by several guards toward his cell.
In that mottled memory, White Hall screamed:
"It must be Zorra! Is it right?"
"It must be that villain slandering me! You believed in the wrong person, you believed in the wrong person, you were deceived by him, Peggy! You will pay the price! Zora is a snake, he will swallow you in one bite in the dark!"
This memory ends here.
This is White Hall's deepest memory of his prison tragedy, and this memory also represents the complete collapse of the Red Skull faction in Hydra.
"The last two followers of the Red Skull broke completely at this time."
Merlin recalled the clues about the "Zora" mentioned by White Hall, and in the diaries left by Ms. Carter, the incident about Dr. Zora was recorded in detail.
Like White Hall, he was once the right-hand man of the Red Skeleton, a senior scientist of Hydra during World War II, and was also captured in the late stages of the war.
But compared to White Hall, who has been imprisoned for 42 years, Dr. Anim Zora has much luck.
Because Dr. Zora is an excellent gene and electronic engineering scientist, he mastered many black technologies in Germany. Therefore, after the end of World War II, when the paper clip began, Dr. Zora was the first scientist to be recruited into the Strategic Science Legion.
Dr. Zora is actually a coward and a villain who lacks loyalty in Ms. Carter's memory.
However, Dr. Zora, who was free and escaped from trial, died of cancer in 1972. Instead, White Hall, who was locked up, lived in good health until the new century.
Merlin continued to search for White Hall's memory. The researcher was a very stereotyped person. The memory in his mind was not confused, like a neatly arranged line. Soon, Merlin saw the information he was eager to know.
It was one day in 1987.
White Hall, who had accepted his fate and was about to wait for death in that small cell, was suddenly put on a burlap pocket by a group of agents and walked out of the prison hostage.
He thought he was going to be executed.
But he did not resist, but allowed the black agents to put him in a wheelchair and take him out of the prison.
In that case, the arrival of death was a relief for him.
But beyond White Hall's expectations, he was not executed. On the contrary, after a long transfer for dozens of minutes, the black cloth bag on his head was taken off.
What caught his eye was a round table with dim light, which was the Hydra's parliamentary table that Merlin saw in the banker's memory before.
On the other side of the table, there was a man who was hiding in the darkness with only one outline.
"Hydra needs your strength, Mr. Reinhart."
The man hiding in the dark said:
"From today, you're free."
"free?"
White Hall savored the word in a daze. He was already very old. His thinking could not keep up with the nerves. After a moment, White Hall, who was sitting in a wheelchair and wearing a blue and white prison uniform, let out a low laugh.
The laughter was like coming from hell, full of a sense of decay.
He tried hard to straighten his body and said to another person in the dark:
“hailhydra!”
“hailhydra!”
The other person responded with the same response, like a certain code, or as if the two had actually reached an agreement.
"I'm very happy to see that the inheritance of Hydra has not yet disappeared. If Lord Red Skull could see this scene, he would definitely be very happy."
White Hall, sitting in a wheelchair, said in a sad tone:
"But I'm old and I'm dying. What can I do for you?"
"Don't be so disappointed, Mr. Reinhart."
The Hydra hiding in the dark persuaded:
"We are currently developing a serum that can restore youth. We call it SSS serum, which can restore you to your youngest body and continue to contribute to our career. But we are facing a small problem now."
The man pondered for a few seconds and said to White Hall:
"The blueprint for sss serum is not complete."
"I've never heard of this serum, and in fact, in my memory, there's never been any information about this serum."
White Hall finally understood why his juniors wanted to help him, but he still said bluntly:
"I'm afraid I can't help."
"No, you can!"
The man in the dark said with certainty:
"Because the initial inspiration for SSS serum was obtained from the research notes you left behind back then."
"My notes?"
White Hall widened his eyes and said:
"You mean, research on the genes of aliens?"
"right!"
The Hydra leader in the dark explained:
"The times are developing, and technology is advancing, Mr. Reinhardt. Back then, you were trapped in the limitations of technology and could not perfectly separate the IV gene fragments, but today, your vision has been realized. We isolated the IV genes and used this as a blueprint to create the initial SS serum. We also conducted experiments on some experimental subjects."
"The experiment is satisfactory. It can greatly delay the aging rate of human body and keep the body in its best condition. But it also has its disadvantages. It is not stable and requires continuous use, otherwise it will age faster than usual."
"We think you should be able to continue your own research to develop a truly 'erotic agent' for Hydra. This is important. Mr. Reinhardt, the fear that death brings to humanity is infinite. If Hydra can resist death, then we are only one step away from the goal of controlling the world."
Hearing the man's persuasion, White Hall, who was sitting in a wheelchair, was silent for a moment, and he said:
"I'm willing to help you because helping you is also helping me. But I have a question about Hydra's ideal, when will it become the world control?"
"Didn't something happen in these 40 years that I don't understand? Isn't our ideal that the world will move forward in a better direction under the protection of powerful power?"
White Hall's sharp question silenced the person sitting in the dark for several minutes before he spoke:
“Times have changed, Mr. Reinhart.”
"In our opinion, the rapid progress of technology has put the world's development on the right track, so what we need to do now is to control the dominance of civilization and let Hydra truly rule the world."
"No! This is wrong!"
White Hall was sitting in a wheelchair and the old man with white hair stubbornly said:
"You are trapped in a mad fantasy like the Red Skull. Hydra is an ancient organization. We should stay in the dark and cut off the crisis of the world, rather than stepping on the front and becoming the king of the world."
"The will of freedom will not be extinguished. There will always be people who disobey. Resistance will bring conflict, conflict will trigger war, war will destroy order, and the defeat of order means the decline of civilization, which is not what we should do!"
"I have no intention of arguing with you about these ideal aspects, Mr. Reinhart."
