33. Silver (Part 1)(1/2)

Clark was flying among the stars.

His flight was not elegant, like a bullet shot out of the gun chamber, his body was filled with strength, and his limbs were slightly twisted, full of embarrassment and pain.

He was thrown from the stars to the earth, like throwing a cannonball or a wooden stake.

"Bang"

Under the impact of huge force, Superman turned into a falling meteorite. He rubbed with the thin atmosphere of the world at high speed, just like heavenly fire, and fell on the ridge of an abandoned asteroid in a mess.

It's like a war hammer swinged by a giant who destroys the world.

The moment it landed, it pierced the black ridge like a roar of heavy artillery, and pierced into the cracked earth in the roar of gravel.

From the sky, to the mountains, and to the earth, a straight line was pierced by this arrogant force.

Anything that blocks the road is ruthlessly destroyed.

Clark rolled on the ground, he tried hard to move his numb and sore limbs, clamped against the ground, causing the gravel to collapse and the earth torn apart. When he finally stopped rolling, he was already lying at the bottom of a giant impact crater worth more than ten meters in a direction.

Among the rolling gravels, Clark's nostrils were bleeding, and his cheeks were covered with bruised eyes were extremely embarrassed, just like a drunken man who had been drunk and was beaten hard, and every bone in his body was moaning in pain.

And just as he struggled to get up, his keen perception burst out with extreme dangers. The instinct that beating in his heart made Clark fall quickly and quickly wake up. The moment he got up, his arms crossed and blocked in front of him.

He didn't even have time to dodge.

Then, a black light fell from the sky and followed the traces that Clark had blasted in the world. In a roar of thunder, his clenched iron fist hit Clark's chest, one with one left and one right.

"Clang"

The moment the deadly force contact was contacted, Clark's crossed arms was defeated, and the second heavy punch hit his heart, almost stopping his tenacious heart at this moment.

The cracks like black spider web spread rapidly from Superman's feet to all directions of the world.

It's like a sudden earthquake.

This land was like being hit by a giant's double boxing.

As wave after wave of vibration, the sound of bursting and shattering came from under the rift valley, and soil and heavy stones jumped into the air and then smashed into the ground under the pull of gravity.

After all the power of this punch dissipated, a rift of several kilometers long was shaped as the smoke and dust rolled across the desolate plain, and the terrain changes of tens of millions of years were completed in seconds.

The cracks and collapses of huge mountains and wide plains have triggered a small-scale climate change. Gray smoke, which is completely different from the earth, rolled into several huge groups of sand and dust on the rift valley, and the gravel that was bombarded into the sky was swaying freely.

They obscured the light from the stars, making the world seem like a layer of dim gauze in just a few minutes.

This is quite a strange scene that an alien world should have.

It is hard to imagine that this attitude of changing the world is created by pure power rather than more mysterious magic.

After all, Heavenly Father is a hurdle.

No matter what kind of power it is, whether it is pure brute force from the body or the magic accumulated through mysterious paths, once you pass the level of Heavenly Father, you will be transformed and transformed.

The warriors who walk the way of power may not be worse than the elegant and noble wizards after creating the body of the Heavenly Father.

More than ten seconds later, on the gradually quiet and completely torn ground, General Zod, with a calm face, flew out from the deepest part of the rift with something.

That was the broken sternum, weak and painful Clark.

Zod was like carrying his prey, and he landed on the edge of the shattered pit, and stood up straight as the swaying of the red cloak behind him.

The Kryptonian general was covered with dust, and his black combat uniform also had traces of tearing.

His thin face had bruises and blood on the corners of his mouth, and he looked quite embarrassed.

But compared to Clark, who was held in his hand, Zod was in much better shape.

"If you lose that yellow sun, you will be so weak that it makes people feel distressed, Carl."

General Zod grabbed Clark's calves, dragging Superman onto the barren land like he was dragging garbage.

Their location has long left the solar system.

The sun's light cannot shine here, causing Clark's unstable state that was radiated by the sun to enter the Father's Father was broken, and allowing Clark to return to the state under the Father.

This also means that other Kryptonians can no longer gain power from the sun.

"The sun is very kind to you. It generously gives you endless energy. Even after absorbing the sunlight in a short period of time, it puts you in a state of being 'enhanced'."

Zod dragged Clark, who was covered in blood, and walked in this desolate world.

He came alone.

Before Clark fought with Zod one-on-one, he persuaded Fiola not to intervene in the duel. The adjutant fulfilled the agreement, but in the one-on-one confrontation with Zod, Superman lost a very badly.

Zod walked forward step by step, and the rough gravel blew on Zod's steel body in the rapid flying wind. This bad weather was enough to destroy any sophisticated and powerful machinery, but it could not stop Zod's progress.

While walking, he said to Clark, who had temporarily lost his combat capability behind him:

"That burning star gives you the ability to fight against the true Heavenly Father, but that power is just a false illusion. It fills you with confidence, and it makes you feel that you can fight against me."

"But it turns out that you can't do it, Carl. The false power cannot match the real strength. I hope you can learn this lesson from today's battle."

"Trust me, this is a very important lesson for a soldier with a promising future."

General Krypton did not seem to care about Clark's persuasion of Fiora. He grabbed Superman's calf and pulled him into a mountain shadow on the verge of collapse.

This is a leeward that can stop the harsh storm.

Zod threw Clark, whose sternum had healed, and he took out a black blood collection device from his pocket in the combat uniform.

He half-kneeled beside Clark. Superman's powerful self-healing power had restored his ruptured sternum and bruises on his body, but he was still weak. Seeing Zod getting his blood, Clark raised his hand and was about to destroy the device.

"Bang"

Zod easily pinched Superman's wrist.

With the force of the five fingers, accompanied by the low sound of bone cracks, Superman's hand bone was crushed and smashed to the ground in an abnormal arc.

"puff"

Six sharp needles pierced Clark's chest, and the blood collector started working like a small water pump. The blood from Clark was extracted, but not much.

Judging from the volume of the instrument, the maximum amount of normal blood will not affect Superman's health.

While the instrument was operating, Zod also sat cross-legged beside Clark. He looked at Clark's eyes, whose throat was cracked in the previous confrontation, and the injury was healing, and Clark was still speechless.

He could only look at Zod with a mixed look of dissuasion and anger.

Facing that look, Zod's expression did not change at all. He sat there, raised his head and looked at the sky.

Originating from the Father's powerful vision, he could see the 15 Kryptonian soldiers hovering among the stars. Fiora was commanding them. Outside the battlefield, the soldiers were waiting for the command of the leader.

"I'm curious how you convinced Fiora to stand by and watch your battle with me?"

Just like the elders chatting with younger generations.

Zod asked in his signature low voice:

"Did you reach some kind of agreement with her? No, no, Fiora is an excellent soldier. She has never disobeyed my orders since she joined my army and she will not violate my orders at the mission level."

"So, I guess, it's the private reason?"

Zod touched his chin, and he shook his head and let out a short laugh.

After a few seconds of silence, he said:

"Okay, I probably guessed it, but unfortunately, I am destined to be unable to respond to this beautiful expectation, not because of my heart, but because..."

"Carl, I'm dead, and I've died three times."

Zod turned his head and looked at the silent Clark, and he said seriously:

"I died for the first time when my adventure of saving my world failed, and that time I turned my back on my oath and lost the glory of the soldiers."

“As I was released from my long imprisonment, and when I heard the news of Krypton’s destruction, I died for the second time, I lost the hometown and people I want to protect, I lost the meaning of my existence.”

“When the collector sent my only 14 compatriots left at that time into the arena in Saka, I died for the third time when I heard the deaths of my compatriots…”

Zod lowered his head and looked at his bloody hands, and he said in a hoarse tone:

"I swear to them that I will take them to rebuild the world, that they trust me, incomparable trust, and that trust I have failed."

"After losing glory and losing existence, I lost my trust."

"You say, what qualifications do I have to promise more to a woman who is deeply in love with me?"

"I'm not worthy, Carl."

Zod reached out to Clark's chest and grabbed the instrument that had already drained blood.

He looked at the blood rippling in the center of the instrument and said:

"Fiora may have told you something, you may know what I'm going to do with your blood, Carl."

"Yes, I never thought of recasting Kryptonian civilization in the wrong way. When I knew you were about to have children, I knew that Joe had found the right path. This made me very happy and enough to let me have no worries."

"I have already been determined to die, and I can no longer continue to live in this cruel world."

"I was born as the best warrior, and I also hope to die as a warrior should. I know that it is a better choice for us to start a new life on Earth like you, but... not for me."

Zod stood up and patted the dust and blood on his body.

He looked at Clark who was struggling on the ground and said:
To be continued...
