66. The Promised Future(1/2)

"You've caused me some trouble."

In the mysterious house, in front of the Raven Lord, a slightly joking sentence appeared on the parchment paper.

Above the big, bad, simple-painted patterns with an angry expression, Meng Shen's elegant handwriting continued to appear, like an invisible typewriter was urging out words.

He said to Merlin:

"In your world, Loki's fate has changed. It can be said that this change comes from you, but now, it is difficult for you to let me redirect him back to your own destiny. Merlin, it is quite difficult."

The Raven Lord searched for him, but he couldn't find his beloved quill.

He suddenly remembered that his pen had been destroyed in the rune painting just now, which made Meilin feel a little regretful. He snapped his fingers gently, and the Xuanlan, who had a sympathy with him, appeared like a ghost.

The female housekeeper handed a simple pen to the Maharaja and kissed the Maharaja on the face, and then disappeared quietly as if she was Tathagata.

Merlin shrugged and waved his hand to write on the parchment:

"If it's simple, then I did it myself, so where do you need to trouble you."

"So why did you promise him?"

Dream God ignored Merlin's spoiled answer, and he asked:

"You can make excuses. Loki is different from you. He hasn't read that comic. He doesn't know how difficult this road is. You can save him but you haven't done that."

"If I said I was on a whim, would you rush over from outside the stars and beat me up?"

Merlin wrote a question on parchment.

A moment later, a large piece of simple graffiti representing anger appeared on the parchment paper, but Dream God's answer was also quite interesting.

He said:

"you guess?"

"Okay, okay, not kidding."

Merlin was in a pretty good mood today, and he wrote on parchment:

"First of all, it is because Loki finally found a path of his own. An unexpected factor that would interfere with Asgard's recovery was eliminated. I owe Odin a favor. Because of the Big Snake, I don't want to see Loki continue to be active."

"It's in line with my position to find something for him to do so that he doesn't have the energy to plan more conspiracies for the time being."

Merlin narrowed his eyes and continued to write:

"I've read that comic, and I know that if Orochi really has a destined battle with Thor, then Loki's participation is definitely indispensable."

"Although that prophecy may no longer follow the direction of the comic, Thor's chance of survival as a helping hand is obviously greater."

Faced with Merlin's answer, Dream God did not express his opinion.

A few minutes later, he asked suspiciously:

"That's it?"

"That's it!"

Merlin leaned on the sofa, savoring the wonderful dance of the dancer Loki just now, a smile appeared on the corner of the Raven Maharaja's mouth. He raised his hand and waved it twice. The unstoppable pen continued to write on the parchment:

"If I had to add another reason, Loki's dance just now was good, which was pleasing to the eye, so it's a good job as a reward, don't you?"

"I think you're dizzy."

Dream God replied without hesitation:

"It has been a while since the last time we talked. Compared with your conspiracy before, you seem to be much more relaxed now?"

"Everything went well and you felt in a good mood, right?"

"Yes."

Merlin rubbed her chin and replied calmly:

"I have been busy with conspiracy for a long time and have kept me active in the shadows for a long time. Although I don't hate the warm darkness, it's good to bask in the sun occasionally."

"Elsa returned to me, which made me feel like I lost and lost. I suddenly realized that I had overlooked my family and friends a little recently, which was too bad."

"Maybe I should face everything that follows with a more calm attitude."

The Raven Lord breathed a sigh of relief, closed his eyes and said softly:

"For a long time, the shadow of failure has been pressed on my heart like a huge rock, and occasionally it can make me breathless."

"I made a lot of plans and prepared a lot of preparations, but among all my ideas, there is no such imagination as victory. In fact, after scaring Gao Tianzun and the collector last time, I should have realized this."

Accompanied by the sound of the raven, the pen kept moving, converting the sound into words and passing it to the dream god outside the stars.

He said to his friends:

"I don't actually need to be afraid of them. They just look terrible. But I also have my own advantages."

"Very good, keep this mentality."

The handwriting of the dream god appeared on parchment, just like encouragement, he said to Merlin:

"I have never told you the story of Overlord and Death, and I don't want to put too much pressure on you, but now you have some similarities to them."

“Can I see this as a compliment?”

Merlin asked with a frown:

"Why do I feel like you don't say anything like a compliment?"

"It's a compliment, believe me, but if you want to defeat them, you have to keep working hard."

Dream God wrote the last sentence and ended the brief exchange.

At the same moment, behind Merlin, the door leading to his storage room was also pushed open.

Ms. Rocky, holding a spiritual staff, wearing a green windbreaker and a golden horn helmet, walked out of the Raven Maharaja's storage room, holding a rolled piece of parchment in her hand.

It looks very subtle similarity to the parchment paper in Merlin's hand.

"You've talked to him, right?"

Merlin, who was sitting on the sofa, whispered:

"He always speaks mysteriously, right?"

Facing the Raven Lord's inquiry, Loki, with a somewhat complicated expression, nodded, and she said:

"Can the man who claims to be a dream god really help me?"

"certainly."

The Raven Lord chuckled and he replied:

“No one in this world is better at telling stories than him.”

"If you want to become the God of Story, you have to learn from him. Of course, he is not easy to get along with, and you probably have to take some time."

"I suggest you don't do this right away. The battle for Supreme Mages is about to begin. Loki, if you can become a Supreme Mage, you don't need to search for this special power."

Loki nodded.

She looked at the parchment in her hand with complicated eyes. This was the page she tore off the Dark Book of the Dark with her own hands according to Merlin's instructions.

She finally put it away carefully.

When leaving the mysterious house, Loki suddenly remembered something. She looked back at the Raven Lord hiding on the sofa and resting with her eyes closed. She said:

"There's one more thing, this time when I went to the stars to look for Thanos, I heard a news on the journey, about Peter Quill."

Loki pursed her lips and said:

"It is said that a mysterious character came to the Milky Way, looking for Quill all over the world, and that guy has been closer to your subordinates recently."

"Yeah?"

The Raven Lord frowned.

He knew the story of Peter Quill, Rocket Raccoon and Angela's encounter, but he did not pay much attention to Quill, a pirate on Earth with a complicated background.

However, judging from the news brought back by Rocky, there seems to be some secrets in this young man.

And in the pile of comics brought back by Deadpool, it seems that there is indeed information about Peter Quill, but Merlin didn't pay much attention to him.

“I will pay attention.”

Merlin stood up, with his hands on his back, looking at Loki, and he said:

"Thank you for your reminder, Miss Loki. Then in return, I will give you a message, about the power of the 'God of Story' you pursue."

There was a light pounding in the blue eyes of the Raven Maharaja, and he said to Loki:

"Everyone in Asgard said that the young Loki was a god of mischief, but your behavior is actually predictable. Although it is unreasonable, you can always guess your future based on your past."

"A prank god who can be guessed and decided is not qualified. Similarly, a story that can be guessed and direction is unattractive. You know, readers are very picky."

"A good story must have an unexpected turn."

Merlin said with some slightest remarks:

"If you want to be a story-writing person and have the ability to influence your destiny, you must first become unpredictable, and you must first free yourself from the influence of your established destiny."
