Chapter 639 What Stalin said

When Zhukov took action, Leningrad Front Commander Govolovda immediately mobilized the 2nd Army under his command. The commander of this army was Lieutenant General Fejonginsky, and the 42nd and 67th Army carried out a general mobilization operation.

General Meletskov, the commander of the Volkhov Front, also carried out a pre-war mobilization in the 8th, 54th and 59th armies under his command.

There were also the 2nd Front Army along the Baltic Sea coast commanded by General Popov, as well as the Red Flag Baltic Fleet and long-range aviation troops, which were also deploying troops in Stalin's combat plan.

The force these troops have to gather is more than 400,000, which is almost four times stronger than the more than 1.25 million troops in the original history.

At the same time, the Soviet army had more than 1,500 tanks and self-propelled artillery, 800 aircraft providing tactical support, 250 aircraft supported by the Baltic Fleet, and 400 bombers from long-range aviation.

Govorov had a minimum of 33 to 35 infantry divisions, 4 infantry brigades, and cooperated with the 13th Army Air Force of Rebalithenko.

As for the infantry divisions owned by Commander General Meletskov, there are about 25 infantry divisions, 7 infantry brigades, and 5 tank brigades, as well as Zhuravlev's 14th Group Air Force to cooperate in combat.

At the same time, the Leningrad Naval Base is under the charge of the Major General ID Kuleshov, and the Kelangstad Naval Fortress is under the charge of the Major General GI Levchenko.

At the same time, the two major generals in charge of the area are now not only dispatching fleets to assemble, but also helping other fronts to transport heavy weapons and equipment, especially the petroleum fuel, aviation fuel, various weapons and ammunition that the Soviet army urgently used, as well as food and healing medicines, as well as military uniforms in winter.

These weapons, equipment and military supplies are transported using motor barges, small ships, new landing crafts supported by Britain and the United States, transport boats and Soviet tugs.

At the same time, Leningrad is still working overtime to lay out a large number of fortifications, such as trenches, barbed wire, hidden fire points; cross fire points, fixed fire points, as well as anti-tank trenches and mine areas; anti-tank gun layout points, underground bunkers and air raid shelters, food storage points, and medical locations......

At this time, Lieutenant General Fletcher had also led his aircraft carrier fleet to their base Vladivostok Fortress.

"Soviet leader Stalin sent us a combat mission, take a look! Lieutenant General Fletcher!"

Lieutenant General Fletcher, who had just arrived at the Vladivostok Fortress and had not yet led his naval forces to land on the shore, received an urgent telegram from Major General Noyce.

"Hmm! What combat mission? We just arrived here?"

Lieutenant General Fletcher asked in confusion while taking the other party's handing him the evil documents.

But soon he opened the documents in his hand and browsed them very quickly.

He finished reading it in a short while and remained silent.

"What's wrong? What did Stalin say? What combat mission did we do when we sigh?"

Looking at Lieutenant General Fletcher who said nothing, Major General Noyce hurriedly asked.

"It is the Soviet army that wants to launch a large-scale annihilation war. They plan to launch an annihilation battle in Leningrad Novgorod, with the goal of Model's Northern Army!"

Lieutenant General Fletcher said with a frown.

"Oh my god! These Soviet troops are so powerful! Didn't they just lose the Dnieper River area? How could they fight again so quickly?"

"Are their reserve forces so powerful? Or are we too little of their deployment?"

Upon hearing this, Major General Noyce immediately exclaimed.

"I don't know! But Stalin wants us to assist their Red Sea Fleet and the Baltic Fleet to support the fight and fight the German troops, and to deal with the German air force!"
