Chapter 1 Jade-colored golden-crowned snake

In the spring of the Great Wilderness Calendar, the story takes place in an inconspicuous town east of the Qingyu Empire in Shanhaijie.

In the early morning, the sun shone gently on Muxin Town. A young man about fifteen or sixteen years old, with a thin but handsome face, carrying a medicine basket on his back and a small medicine hoe on his waist. He walked on the only concave bluestone road in the middle of the town. On both sides were shops, teahouses, hotels and restaurants. The dewdrops on the tips of the leaves and grass reflect the sun's light, colorful and crystal clear.

"Mu Yu, today I went to the mountain to collect herbs again!" The waiter at Chaoxia Teahouse opened the wooden board door while rubbing his sleepy eyes and greeted the boy.

Yang Muyu smiled at the waiter, a deep dimples appeared on his left cheek, and said lightly: "Yes, the weather is good today, and there is nothing at home. My father has less herbs to prepare medicine, so he just went into the mountain to take a look."

The only medicine shop in the town next to him was suddenly pushed open, and a fat and fat head with a gray hair of about fifty years old came out: "Brother Yu, just send me the extra herbs here, the price is easy to say."

"I understand, Uncle Wang!" Yang Muyu waved to the old man.

"You old man knows bullying people!" On the other side, a young woman in her thirties, combed her long hair while caring, "Brother Yu, go early and go back early, be careful on the mountain road!"

Yang Muyu smiled happily, looked up at the young woman upstairs and said with half-closed eyes: "Thank you Aunt Mei for your concern, Mu Yu will be careful."

Some people in the town poked their heads out and greeted Yang Muyu kindly. Yang Muyu also responded with a smile and walked out of the town.

Less than two miles away from the town, there is the largest Qiangyu Mountain Range in the Qingyu Empire. Qiangyu Mountain Range extends from the Qingyun Empire at the west, and it continues, from the east to the vast ocean, running across the entire Qingyu Empire. It is said that deep in the mountains, there are beasts rampant, and countless poisonous Zhangzhou... Even the most brave warriors in the Qingyu Empire dare not enter easily.

Muxin Town is just a very small town. Most of the residents in the town are native villagers, simple and kind. The young men in the town will naturally go to the mountains to hunt wild animals, and exchange the furs of precious animals and passers-by for a little rare thing. However, Yang Muyu was the only one who collected herbs. He was not originally a native of Muxin Town, but migrated with his father five years ago.

The people in the town only knew that the father and son were from other places, but what they were originally doing and why they migrated to such a remote town. The simple people didn't think much about it. Yang's father was proficient in medical skills. After that, he had treated some people in the town and cured many of the difficult and complicated diseases. But he seemed to have incurable symptoms. Therefore, after the town settled down, he lived in simplicity and handed over all the affairs to the little Yang Muyu alone.

In contrast to Yang's father, Yang Muyu was very kind and lively. Soon he got along with everyone in the town. However, every spring and autumn, he often went to the mountains to collect herbs. According to himself, his father suffered from a strange disease and had to force the golden thread and red lotus fruit deep in the mountains to be cured, so he moved here to cure his father.

Every time Yang Muyu goes to the mountain to collect herbs, he will bring back a lot of other medicinal materials and send them to the only pharmacy in the town for exchange for some coins and daily necessities.

This time, Yang Muyu was still walking up the mountain road as usual, but today he felt a little depressed because he walked three places where the golden thread and red lotus fruits grew, but he didn't find it at all. What made him most uncomfortable was that in the third place, the golden thread and red lotus fruits were obviously ripe, but they were taken first by others, and there were obvious signs of picking on the remaining roots.

Yang Muyu had no choice but to encounter such a thing. After all, such things in the wild were not grown by his family. Since they were picked up first, he had to look for them.

Although the golden thread and red lotus fruit are not rare, the growth environment is extremely demanding. It usually grows on cliffs. Yang Muyu looked up at the sky. In the distance, a red sun with a rouge-like color has begun to sink.

"Don't worry, look for it again, maybe there's something nearby!" Yang Muyu thought in his heart, walked forward along the mountain road, and suddenly, under a green hibiscus tree next to him, something seemed to reflect the sunset reflecting a faint golden light.

Yang Muyu's heart moved, walked over carefully, grabbed the medicine hoe in his hand, and separated the weeds. He saw a golden snake under the green lotus tree, frightened and swam quickly to the side. Although it was only a quick moment, Yang Muyu could see clearly that the little snake was green all over, with a bright gold color in the middle, wrapped around the snake like silk thread, and a small flesh crown on the top of his head. He suppressed the excitement in his heart - this was actually a jade-colored golden crown snake. Although it was less than a foot long, he had heard his father say that wherever there was a jade-colored golden crown snake, there must be a strange treasure.

In a short while, the jade-colored golden-crowned snake had already gone down the hillside. Yang Muyu was busy making light steps and following behind. However, after chasing the little snake for a while, Yang Muyu couldn't laugh or cry. The jade-colored golden-crowned snake swam to a cliff, and followed some plants that grew tenaciously on the mountain wall, the little snake swam down very easily.

Yang Muyu stood on the cliff with only a wry smile. He was not a snake, he had no ability to climb rocks and walls, nor was he flying birds, so he naturally could not fly such a steep cliff. He looked around and was busy looking for the golden thread and red lotus fruit in front of him. He had just walked a long way after chasing the little snake, and had already penetrated deep into the deep mountains of Qianghuo Mountain, a place he had never been to before.

Seeing that the sun was gradually dimming, a thin mist rose in the deep mountains, he sighed immediately, turned around, and wanted to find a way to go down the mountain. But the moment he turned around, the sunset glow reflected on the mountain wall, and the golden light flashed, which made him unable to open his eyes.

"Can you really have a treasure hidden on this mountain wall?" Thinking of the fact that you often heard your father say that there is no treasure, you can't make a mountain. Yang Muyu was curious, and he was also a young man. He didn't care about the danger. He took out a spare rope from the medicine basket, tied it to a big tree on the mountain wall, pulled it hard, and felt strong, so he hung down the rope and climbed up the mountain wall along the rope.

Yang Muyu followed his father around since childhood, and often collected herbs in the mountains. He was naturally very agile and climbed the rope. He was getting closer and closer to the place where the golden light was just reflected. Looking carefully, there was no surprise at all in that place, but there was a large cluster of amethyst orchids growing.

Yang Muyu was worried about meeting the jade-colored golden-crowned snake again. Although this snake was small, it was extremely poisonous and not easy to provoke. He immediately used a medicine hoe to hang it on the mountain wall, and at the same time he instinctively looked down the mountain wall. When he saw it, he couldn't help but be stunned-

"Then...what is that...there is such a beautiful person in the world..." About ten feet away under the mountain wall, in the hazy mist, a young woman with white clothes floating in the air was floating in the air, her long hair as satin was floating in the cold wind, and she was indescribably beautiful and charming.

"Is it a fairy in the strong mountain?" Yang Muyu didn't even dare to breathe. He grabbed the rope firmly with one hand and climbed the mountain wall with the other. His body was stiff, but he didn't dare to move, for fear of disturbing the floating fairy deep in the mountain wall.

The mountain wind blew out, and the fog in the mountains seemed even more intense. Yang Muyu only felt a flower in front of him. The fairy Piaomiao under the mountain wall was gone. He blinked his eyes hard and looked carefully. Under the mountain wall, there was only white fog rolling. Where was the shadow of the fairy just now?

"I actually saw the fairy in the mountains..." Yang Muyu felt a little disappointed. Why did the fairy Piaomiao leave so quickly? Why didn't she stay for a while? Shaking her head, thinking about the purpose of climbing down the mountain rock, she was about to look for treasure again. Suddenly, a lightening of her hand, the rope that he had originally tied firmly to the big tree in the stone wall fell off the top-

Needless to say, Yang Muyu has been hanging on the mountain wall with a rope. Now that the rope is broken, he naturally can't help but fall quickly down the mountain rock.

"Ah..." Yang Muyu shouted instinctively, grabbing his hands in the air, trying to catch anything, but the palm of his hand was covered in cold sweat, wet, but he couldn't catch anything, but only the whistling wind passed by his ears, "I'm finished...I..."

The fear of death came to my heart, Yang Muyu closed his eyes in despair, his body was declining sharply, and then falling...

Suddenly, his body that had dropped sharply suddenly became heavy, and he didn't know what was catching his feet, but the strong pulling force almost pulled his body from the middle. As for this, he still felt that the leg bones of one foot had been torn off, and the pain spread unlimitedly.

But his body was hanging in mid-air, and the pulling force was still increasing every moment-

"Hehehehe..." A sharp smile sounded on his head. Yang Muyu was so painful that he was about to faint, but he still couldn't help but raise his head and take a look. With just this glance, he could no longer bear it. He suddenly fainted.

Monster, what kind of monster is that? This is the only problem before Yang Muyu fainted again. It turned out that what he looked up was a big ball, and the terrifying laughter was transmitted from the ball.

I don’t know how long it took, but my consciousness returned to Yang Muyu again. I opened my eyes blankly, but was shocked to find that he was actually lying in a cave, with a dim oil lamp burning on a stone wall near his head. He shook his head hard. Yang Muyu recalled the passing of falling into the mountain wall. He was still alive and he was not dead?

Could it be that the monster in the mountains saved him?
