Chapter 89 - Zeus

Chapter 89 Zeus (Part 2)

The newly born Zeus showed terrifying power even in his infancy.

His cries were like rolling thunder.

The whole island rumbled and trembled at the sound, so much so that the sea fairies had to take out the legendary fairy wine and make Zeus drunk in order to calm down the crying.

In order to prevent Zeus' cry from being noticed by the terrible god-king Cronus.

The gentle goddess Gaia also placed two giants on the island holding shields and short swords.

Whenever Zeus cries.

The two giants struck the shields with their daggers to cover up Zeus's cry.

There was also a goat with brilliant golden hair living on the island, and two sea nymphs fed the young Zeus with the goat's milk.

that's all.

Under the careful care of two ocean fairies.

Zeus grew up at a rapid speed and became a tall young man in more than ten years.

He is tall, with bronze skin and long hair as fine and white as fresh snow, and his eyes are shining with a breathtaking light.

His power is great even among gods.

When Zeus is in a good mood, the sky will become clear and the wind will be beautiful. When he is angry, terrifying thunderclouds will condense in the sky, and world-destroying lightning will fall from the sky like pillars, and the whole world will be destroyed.

It rumbled and trembled under such great power.

But…

Even though he had everything a mortal could dream of, Zeus was still unhappy.

He learned about his life experience from the sea fairy who raised him.

He knew that his father, the terrifying and cruel god-king Cronus, was looking for him. Once his existence was discovered by his father, he would be swallowed up by Cronus mercilessly like his brothers and sisters.

.

So, from birth to adulthood.

In order to avoid his father, Zeus never left the island called Crete.

finally.

One day in adulthood.

Zeus looked at the endless blue sea in front of him and sighed, "The outside world is so vast, full of life and hope, but I am trapped in this prison. I can no longer endure this kind of life.

It's time to get out of here."

This evening.

Zeus used the divine wine sent by the condor to get drunk on the two sea nymphs who raised him.

Taking advantage of the darkness, he left Crete, where he had lived for more than ten years.

He took a small boat he made and drifted with the wind on the vast sea. He was very happy. He lay on the narrow wooden boat, watched the sun rise from the sea and then set from the other side, and stared at the stars at night.

.

that's all.

Young Zeus wandered on the sea for ten days and ten nights.

Just when he was a little tired of this life and was ready to return to Crete.

Suddenly.

Zeus saw brilliant stars blooming on the distant sea.

"What is that!?"

Young Zeus felt a power from the starlight that he had never seen before. Unable to suppress his curiosity, he drove his wooden boat and drifted away in the direction of the starlight.

As the distance approached, waves suddenly appeared on the originally empty sea, accompanied by the rise of fog.

Zeus advanced through the mist.

When the fog first became thick, it was so dark that even Zeus could not detect the surrounding scenery. But as Zeus continued to penetrate deeper, the thick fog gradually became thinner.

Just as Zeus held his breath and prepared to witness the scene in the mist.

He was surprised to find out.

He returned to the same place again, the stars in the distance were still twinkling on the sea, and the sea was calm with faint waves.

If it weren't for the sun in the sky, it would have set towards the sea in the west.

Everything that happened just now was like a dream.

"I was actually trapped by those fogs!" Zeus felt unbelievable.

Although he is still very young now, he is the prophesied third-generation god-king. At this time, he has already shown amazing power. Even among the Titans created by Caius, there are many who are no match for Zeus.

But now, he was trapped by the nameless mist rising from the sea.

"I won't give up easily!"

The ever-changing fog did not persuade Zeus to retreat, but instead inspired Zeus's competitive spirit.

He used his divine power to condense into a scepter that shimmered with golden thunder. The scepter fell forward, and a terrifying thunder pierced into the mist.

It is different from naturally occurring thunder.

The power of this thunder was even more powerful, and it condensed over the sea after it appeared.

Like a golden rope, it keeps moving forward until it disappears into the depths of the mist.

"Now you won't get lost again!"

Zeus was delighted and followed his thunder light forward.

With the thunder as a guide, Zeus continued to correct his direction. Finally, after traveling for a while, the fog became thicker and thicker, as if it were real, making Zeus feel a little depressed and unable to breathe.

Just when Zeus was thinking about retreating.

Plop!

Zeus's small wooden boat crashed on a raised rock around the island.

Zeus suddenly felt happy and knew that he had found the place.

He changed direction, bypassed the reef and continued forward. Within a dozen meters, the scenery in front of him suddenly became clearer, and the thick gray-white fog disappeared in an instant.

The cool sea breeze blew slowly, and a pterosaur with a white head and black feathers flapped its wings and flew over Zeus' head.

Under the broad wings of the pterosaur, green mountains undulate, roars of beasts come and go, and a magnificent waterfall pours down from the top of the mountain, passing through the lush virgin forest, roaring all the way into the sea

among.

After a long period of depression, the magnificent scenery came into view.

Zeus's mind suddenly became enlightened. He opened his arms and couldn't help but let out a roar of excitement. Countless birds and pterosaurs in the forest rushed to flap their wings and flew into the distance.

“What a beautiful island!”

Zeus sighed, and at the same time he couldn't help but feel excited in his heart.

The mist surrounding this island was so concealed that I could not detect anything unusual even after going deep into it several times. The terrifying God-King Cronus certainly could not detect the existence of this island either.

There is no doubt about it.

This island would be a good refuge, allowing Zeus to feel relaxed and at peace under the tremendous pressure of the god-king.

Zeus secretly rejoiced in his heart as he noticed that the stars were still shining in the valley.

He didn't hesitate.

It turned into a bolt of thunder and flew towards the direction of the twinkling stars.

The moment he took off, the stars in the sky seemed to sense something, and they suddenly gathered towards the center like chaos opening up, turning into an extremely bright beam of light.

The beam of light penetrated the sky and the earth, and was initially only the size of a fist.

But in the next few breaths, the light beam continued to spread outwards, covering the entire island in an instant.

Zeus hovered in mid-air, his heart shocked, and he felt a strong and sacred aura from the light in front of him.
