Chapter 3 Laboratory

When Jiang Zuiyao woke up, it was already late at night, and the recurring dream kept her awake.

When she got up and went to bed, it was a cold winter night, but her room was not warm at all. There was only a small pot of charcoal fire on the ground, and it had been put out long ago when no one was watching. There were scraps of rice on the table, and there was only one steamed bun.

And a vegetarian dish, there is no oil or water at all, it is probably boiled in water and then served.

Jiang Zuiyao smiled bitterly, she was really pitiful, I really don't know how the original owner survived.

After not eating for a day, I was so hungry that I lit up the charcoal, heated the steamed buns and cold vegetables on the charcoal fire, and ate them.

Needless to say about the taste, the steamed buns were dry and the vegetables were tasteless.

In order to survive, Jiang Zuiyao could only endure it for the time being. Once she had eaten her fill, she would never live like this again in the future.

After eating and sleeping for a full day, Jiang Zuiyao was no longer sleepy. Out of boredom, she took the only one she had and started to check her residence.

The place where she lived was divided into an inner room and an outer room. There was only a table and two chairs in the outer room, which seemed empty. There was a wooden bed, a dressing table, and a decent-looking sofa in the inner room.

The couch, and looking into the corner, is a bookshelf.

etc!

Why does this bookshelf look so familiar?

Jiang Zuiyao held a candle and looked at the bookshelf carefully. This bookshelf was exactly the same as in her dream!

She has had that dream over and over so many times that it is still fresh in her memory. She will definitely not be mistaken about it!

Needless to say, the next thing to do is to find the vase.

She remembered that the vase in the dream was placed on the second floor, and she illuminated the candle on the second floor. Jiang Zuiyao was shocked.

That vase is exactly the same as in the dream, dark red, slightly transparent, and more of a turbid taste.

This is incredible!

She twisted the vase, "Boom...", a subtle and unnoticed sound sounded. Just like in the dream, the bookshelf split in two, and there was a secret room hidden behind it.

It was dark inside, and curiosity always made people unable to control themselves. She walked into the secret room. The difference from the dream was that she held a candle. Even if it was a weak light, she could at least know what was in the secret room.

.

The secret room was rectangular, with tables on both sides. However, the table was not a wooden table that existed only in ancient times, but a modern style. The things on the table shocked Jiang Zuiyao even more.

Test tubes, medicines, microscopes, detectors...

This is obviously not something from ancient times!

Jiang Zuiyao then took a picture of the wall. There were various posters about medical knowledge hanging on the wall. Then she saw the wall candles, and she quickly lit them all with candlelight.

Four wall candles are hung evenly on the wall, and there are sixteen candles on the four walls. The sixteen candles illuminate the secret room brightly.

Jiang Zuiyao really looked at everything in the secret room, and she was shocked.

Her laboratory actually traveled through time with her!

Large and small cardboard boxes were neatly placed on the ground, and they were filled with medicines. Jiang Zuiyao didn't need to open them, she could tell what was inside just by looking at her handwriting on the cardboard boxes.

At this moment, Jiang Zuiyao felt mixed emotions. She was surprised that her laboratory had traveled through time with her. She was glad that she could finally do what she likes here. She was even more surprised that having these equipments allowed her to travel in this backward ancient world.

Look with disdain.

All the emotions were mixed together, and in the end, a happy smile appeared on her lips.

She, a girl born in a medical family, was recommended to a prestigious medical university when she was in high school. She obtained a doctorate in medicine at the age of twenty-eight, and then devoted herself to a mysterious biochemical weapons agency. Unfortunately, her apprentice failed in manufacturing biochemical weapons.

, she died during the experiment.

Looking at the familiar laboratory in front of her, she could finally return to her old job and make great achievements in this Rong Dynasty!

After walking out of the secret room, Jiang Zuiyao closed the bookshelf. She would definitely not tell others about such a good place easily.

In the early morning, the cold wind made people shiver, and Linghui walked in with food.

Jiang Zuiyao walked over and took a look. It was just a bowl of thin white porridge. She was a little unhappy: "You just give me this?"

This was true, but Linghui was a little surprised: "Don't you usually eat this?"

No wonder Jiang Zuiyao is so skinny. She eats these nutritious and deceptive things every day, and her body bones are naturally weak.

Jiang Zuiyao immediately gave the order: "Take it out, I want to eat it well."

Linghui suddenly didn't know what was wrong with Jiang Zuiyao today. She had never said such a thing before, so she didn't bother to pay attention and replied impatiently: "That's all. If you don't like to eat it, then don't eat it."

"I am the young lady! As a servant, you serve me like this?" Jiang Zuiyao asked coldly, and Linghui replied nonchalantly: "The young master said that your treatment will be the same as that of a servant.

This is what you should eat.”

Linghui looked at Jiang Zuiyao dissatisfied and said, "If you don't want to eat, go and talk to Aunt Li. There's no point in talking to me."

Jiang Zuiyao thought to herself that she didn't believe that the Shao family had no room to reason, so she got up and walked outside.

The cold wind blew through her thin clothes, and she braved the cold wind and walked towards the kitchen.

As soon as she walked to the door of the courtyard, she saw a little girl running in eagerly. She almost bumped into Jiang Zuiyao in a panic. Fortunately, she stopped in time. The little girl glanced at Jiang Zuiyao and didn't take her seriously. She walked around her and walked around.

Shout: "Linghui! Linghui!"

Linghui walked out of the house after hearing the sound and was not surprised when she saw the little girl: "Rushuang? Why are you here so early in the morning?"

It was cold early in the morning, but Rushuang was already sweating profusely as she ran all the way. It was obvious that something big had happened. She didn't have time to greet Linghui, so she hurriedly asked: "Is the eldest master here?"

Linghui replied: "The eldest young master is not in the east courtyard."

Rushuang was immediately discouraged, "What can we do?"

"What happened?" Linghui asked curiously, and Rushuang replied: "The young master's old illness relapsed last night. I'm afraid he may die now?"

At this point, Rushuang pursed her lips anxiously: "Second Young Madam asked me to ask if the eldest young master is there. He knows many people in Kyoto, and he will definitely be able to find a doctor with good medical skills."

Linghui said in surprise: "Didn't we invite a doctor a few days ago?"

"It's useless. He treated the young master for seven or eight days. He didn't see any improvement. Instead, he got worse and sicker with the treatment. The second young lady is now very anxious."

This so-called second young master is the child of Shao Zifeng, the second son of the Shao family. He has been frail and sick since he was a child. He is only four years old, but he is a sickly boy.
