Chapter 77 Small Bet

The mountain gate guardian!

As soon as these four words were spoken, not only Zhu Yingsou was shocked, but even the monks in Guiyuan Temple who had not yet known the inside story in the hall were shocked and happy. Even the young master who had been An Ruo Taishan also shook his shoulders slightly.

Zhu Yingsou pondered for a long time, as if he had turned away the surprise in his heart, and then he said carefully: "The Buddha Sect has not had a guardian for 60 years. I wonder which time did this Yi guardian have made merits in the temple?"

Only then did Yi Tianxing realize that he wanted to be a mountain gate guardian and even opened a great temple. He raised his lips and thought to himself, "Opening a temple? Is this mountain gate guardian a life of death? So the Buddhist monks simply opened a temple in advance to pass through?"

Master Binku naturally didn't know what he was thinking, and replied to Zhu Yingsou lightly: "Mr. Yi's matter of protecting the Dharma in the Mountain Sect of the Buddha Sect is a secret. If it weren't for some misunderstandings with the nobles, I would not dare to tell them easily." After thinking for a while, he said: "Two months later, the brothers and brothers from the Meiling Grass House in the north Dharma Gate will come to Guiyuan Temple to preside over this matter. At that time, please ask your servant to come and watch the ceremony."

Yi Tianxing shook his head and admired, thinking that the old monk said beautifully. If it weren't for your aggressive and aggressive nature, it was a big event between us monks, so why should you know it? Since you let you know, it's already a huge favor. Will you still not know how to advance or retreat? Don't retreat? I have Famen Temple in the north, Lingyin Temple in the south, and the Meiling Grass House, a branch of the Sixth Patriarch Huineng. Even if you were mysterious for three days, you would have to count how many bald heads there are in the world besides prisons. These bald heads spit on you and see if you can bear it...

...

...

The young master was now holding his hands behind him again, and his slender and slim fingers were gently pressed. He whispered: "It turns out that Mr. Yi is actually a Buddhist mountain guardian, a famous figure, and he offended many of them before.

This is the first time he spoke to Yi Tianxing in Guiyuan Temple today.

Yi Tianxing felt a little flattered for no reason, and then he felt a little cheap. He couldn't help but smile and responded with a wry smile: "What are the instructions of your lord?"

The young master said quietly: "Since Mr. Yi is the guardian of the Buddhist sect, he is naturally not a monster. However, the whereabouts of my disciple Zong Si always fall on you. I wonder what you are going to do?"

Yi Tianxing is also a smart person. He knew that the young master had come forward at this time and simply met him directly. He touched his nose and said quietly: "I don't know whether Zong Si is dead or alive. Even if he unfortunately passed away, I can only express condolences. After all, the fault lies in this matter. The auspicious heaven is at three days. Although I have been in the world for a long time and do not know the supernatural powers of the nobles, I also heard that the rules of the nobles are strictly prohibited from harming secular people. Since Zong Si has violated the rules, I cannot blame me for taking action to punish them."

The young master sighed quietly and said, "Zong Si is a proud person. After seeing you that day..." He suddenly stopped talking and turned around and said, "Where is the fire of Kunlun goblin now? This fire is the fire of the earth's center, and it has the ability to gather fire. It is the object of my auspicious cultivator. Three days ago, the teacher returned the bronze oil lamp to our sect, but there was nothing in the lamp. I also asked Mr. Yi to give it to me and return it to me.

Yi Tianxing frowned and found that the young master was much more polite than when he first entered the temple gate. But he thought that the Kunlun Goblin Fire had already been swallowed into his stomach by his Firebird son, and it seemed that he had indigestion. Now he had to hand it over. Do you have to cut the round belly of the Firebird son into two? He couldn't help but smile bitterly: "After a fight in the forest that day, Zong Si was defeated, the Goblin Fire suddenly burned over the top of the forest, and he disappeared."

He thought that he had indeed burned himself in the forest outside the fish pond that day. He could have lie like this, but he could have kept it from the other party.

Unexpectedly, when the young master heard this, he sighed again. The black Zhongshan suit was tightly pressed against him, and it seemed even colder at this time.

Yi Tianxing didn't know where he answered the wrong answer and smiled and said, "This matter is reckless, please forgive me."

The young master suddenly turned his body and whispered: "Yi Guardian, there will be a situation in this matter."

Yi Tianxing heard him call himself the Dharma protector, knew that the matter was coming, and smiled and said, "Please speak."

"Let's make another bet." The young master said softly.

At this time, the sunlight had arrived at the atrium, and the branches all over the yard were slightly combed with the sunlight. The light spots on the stone slabs flashed lightly. The young master turned sideways, and his white jaw was reflected by the faint light. It was extremely beautiful. Yi Tianxing's heart blew and he didn't hear the word "Let's make another bet" clearly.

If he had heard it clearly at this time, perhaps he could guess who the young master was. Perhaps the story in the future would not be so interesting, or it might not be so thrilling anymore.

"Have you been to Wudang Mountain?" the young master asked softly.

"No." Yi Tianxing responded, but he didn't know what this young master, who was so beautiful and not as beautiful as a beard, meant to be a common man.

The young master's hat covered most of his face, revealing only his beautiful lips, and seemed to smile: "What a coincidence, I have never been there. Mr. Yi is interested in following him to visit Wudang next time?"

Yi Tianxing frowned and waited for the next sentence.

"Our bet is that whoever goes to Wudang Mountain first ignites the dragon head in front of the Golden Palace will win."

...

...

The peaks of Wudang Mountain are green like the waves rising and falling, with movement and stillness mixed together. The streams are common in dense green trees and dense forests, and the peaks and rocks stand tall and the scenery is covered with vague scenery. It is a famous Taoist mountain in China and a tourist destination.

Wudang Mountain was originally named Taihe Mountain. The reason why it was changed from the saying: "It is not worthy of Zhenwu." The Zhenwu in this sentence is the Xuantian Zhenwu God worshipped by Taoists in Wudang Mountain. Wudang Taoism is the original temple of Zhenwu Emperor, so it is very different from other famous Taoist mountains in China. Among the many Taoist immortals worshipped in Laojun Stone and even the Golden Hall, the "Three Pure Ones" and "Four Emperors" are not so important, but the Xuantian Zhenwu God worshipped in the most prominent position.

In folk legend, when Emperor Zhenwu ascended the sky, he was held by five dragons. The sky was scattered like rain and water spreading the valley. The fairyland suddenly appeared in the valley of Wudang. Lord Li Bai, who loved drinking in the Tang Dynasty, wrote in his poem: The rainbow is the clothes, the wind is the horse, the king of clouds is coming down one after another; the tiger is drumming and the phoenix is returning to the carriage, and the immortals are like hemp...

In ancient Chinese mythology, gods guarded the north and west, south and north. Zhenwu is the god who guarded the north. The ancients imagined the northern stars as the image of turtles and snakes entangled, and called it Xuanwu. The Zhenwu land of Wudang Mountain is this gentleman.

The dragon head incense mentioned by the young master is next to the cliff outside the Wanshou Palace in Nanyan, Wudang Mountain. There is a stone beam here. The carved dragon is flat and stretches out one foot wide but just enough. The carved pan dragon on it is the legendary mount of the Xuanwu Emperor. It is said that before the Xuanwu Emperor ascended to the sky, he often rode it around to patrol it.

And an incense burner carved on the top of this dragon head stone beam is the "dragon head incense".

Since ancient times, when pilgrims come to Wudang, there are always people who risk their lives to burn the dragon head incense to express their piety. The fine stone beams grow out of the cliff, hanging out of the sky, and the wind is howling around them. It is extremely impossible to stand firm alone, not to mention that they have to light them with long incense sticks, so countless pilgrims have fallen into the rocks.

It was not until the reign of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty that a filial son forcibly climbed the dragon head beam to light incense in order to pray for his long-awaited mother, but unfortunately fell to death. The governor of the Sichuan and Lake Department ordered that the burning of the dragon head incense be banned, and a railing was set up to lock it, and a monument was erected to warn. The inscription reads that the gods are merciful, and sincerity is true. Pilgrims do not have to climb to the cliffs to burn incense to be considered respect for God; so don't follow the previous steps and destroy their precious lives.
