Chapter 481 Stone Room

"Be careful with your elbows and reach out your hand." Heng Fa stretched out his hand on the edge of the stone platform to welcome Zhou Zhi.

Zhou Zhi pulled the rope under the rope buckle with his left hand, tapped his toes on the stone wall, swung over, stretched out his right hand to hold Heng Fa's hand, and came to the stone platform.

This place is similar to Guanyin Cliff, but the length and area of the cave are much larger.

People have also lived here. There are grooves carved on the side of the cliff, which are a rainwater collection system. The rainwater dripping from the cliff above will flow along the grooves into the large pit dug on the side.

The trench is also paved with a layer of fine pebbles, which is obviously used to protect the trench from being worn deeper by water droplets.

But now the trench has been abandoned for a long time. It is filled with moss and ferns. The puddle at the end of the trench has even become a small pond ecosystem, filled with Spirogyra and even some small fish.

shrimp.

There is no world or no earth here, but life is still creating miracles here.

"What's unusual?" Zhou Zhi didn't care to appreciate the wonderful scenery on the cliff, picked up the camera and asked Heng Fa.

Hengfa pointed to the end of the cliff: "There! There seems to be a mud wall there!"

"I'll go take a look."

The cliff platform is hundreds of meters long. Zhou Zhi thought it was a rock wall before, but when he took a closer look, he found that it was a mud wall built with weathered mud from the mountain. The wall was then carefully sealed with weathered mud.

The body and surrounding seams make it almost impossible to see any flaws.

However, there is a mark of a palm on the mud wall near the bottom of the cliff, as if to remind later generations that this is a wall, not a stone wall.

In fact, there is no need to express it so clearly. It has been a long time since the wall was sealed, and thin cracks have already appeared on the edge where the wall and the stone wall are in contact.

Lifting the camera, Zhou Zhi began to take detailed photos of this area.

At this time, Hengfa also picked up Mr. Qiao and came to Zhou Zhi's side: "How is it?"

"It is indeed an artificial wall. There should be a stone nest behind it."

"What to do now?"

"Tear it apart." Zhou Zhi said in a deep voice, "But don't make the hole too big. First take out a few mud bricks and see what's going on behind the wall."

"I'll do it." Mr. Qiao took out the straight knife from his backpack and started.

"Don't move that handprint, protect it." Zhou Zhi said: "If there is something valuable behind it, it will be a very meaningful object if we win over that handprint and put it in the cultural center showroom."

"I know." Mr. Qiao drew a small hole on the bottom of the wall with the tip of a knife: "Isn't it about this big?"

"Almost." Zhou Zhi nodded, then smiled at Heng Fa who was eager to try, "Master, you come too."

This was what Hengfa was waiting for. After hearing this, he quickly squatted down and scraped off the mud seal within the small hole with Mr. Qiao. After exposing the mud bricks underneath, he began to carefully take them out.

Zhou Zhi also took photos of the two people working, and these are valuable records.

The mud bricks are not big, so after taking out the first one, the rest are easy to pick up. After a while, a cave that can accommodate one person in and out was removed.

Mr. Qiao took out the flashlight and turned it on, and was about to get in through the hole. Zhou Zhi quickly stopped: "Wait a minute, the gas inside may not be clean."

"I'm holding my breath! I can hold it for a minute!" Master Qiao said and dove in.

After a while, Mr. Qiao came out again and shouted excitedly: "There's a lot of space inside! There are a lot of bamboo boxes stacked up!"

Zhou Zhi had already lit the small alcohol stove. When Mr. Qiao came out, he pushed the small alcohol stove in with a bamboo pole.

The alcohol stove did not go out after burning for a while. Zhou Zhi tied the lid to a bamboo pole and put out the alcohol stove: "You can get in!"

The three of them turned on their headlights and got in through the small hole.

This is a peculiar place, a standard stone nest at the end of a half-tunnel-type weathered cave on the Danya rock wall.

If there was no water diversion system as seen before, the rainwater would continue to erode this place every time it rained, and the gaps in the Danya stone wall would continue to be eroded laterally to both ends.

However, now this place has become a natural stone chamber. One side is protected by a stone wall to keep out wind and rain, and the other side has a thick mountain temperature regulation to ensure a constant and cool temperature.

It can be seen from the state of the neatly stacked bamboo boxes in front that this is a natural air-conditioned storage room. The temperature, humidity, and oxygen content of the air are all perfect, and the objects in the stone room are well preserved.

The stone room is quite large, almost the size of a study room. There are about fifty bamboo boxes stacked here, and there is room for movement in the free space.

Zhou Zhi reached out and took down the top bamboo box, took a deep breath, used a straight knife to cut off the strips sealing the box above, opened it, and took out the straw and rice paper covering the top, revealing the neatly arranged boxes below.

printed matter.

The printed matter is in the shape of an album, with a bright yellow cover, and a piece of paper with a black border stuck in the middle, with a line of regular script written on it - Volume 2 of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's Original Vow Sutra.

There is also a circle with white characters on a black background and two regular scripts inside - Si Shi.

"Found it!" Mr. Qiao's cheers rang out in the room, and the enclosed space buzzed: "We have found the Dragon Hidden Sutra!"

"Wait a minute!" Zhou Zhi quickly stopped him: "You won't know until you open it!"

"Why?"

"Because according to historical records, the title page of the Jiachuan edition of the Dragon Tibetan Sutra has a printed page from the Xie En edition attached."

Zhou Zhi opened the sutra book, and on the title page was a tablet-like picture that was exactly the same as the emperor's tablet enshrined in the Wanshou Pavilion of Fawang Temple, surrounded by six dragons, and in the middle was a line of text - Long live the emperor.

The other side has the same picture, but the text in the middle has been changed. It is like the front and back of a plaque. What is written on this side is - the emperor's picture is eternal, the emperor's path is prosperous, the Buddha's sun shines brighter, and the wheel of power rotates forever.

Then open the second page. The area for writing in the center of this page is larger and there are more words.

In the center of the picture of two dragons facing each other on the top is the solemn word "imperial control".

The following twelve characters and one line contain a poem.

The Liuhe is clear and peaceful, and the seven political affairs are in order. The rain is falling at the right time, and all things are prosperous. The billions are in harmony, and the nine secluded areas are harmonious. They are all in the realm of longevity, and the fields of blessing are cultivated. The best is good, and obstacles are eliminated. Families respect loyalty and filial piety, and people are happy.

Be kind and kind. The officials are clean and the government is peaceful. The lawsuits are simple and the punishments are simple. The customs are transformed into beautiful practices, and the Taoism is prosperous. Everything is in order and achieves positive results.

It was the eighth day of April in the thirteenth year of Yongzheng’s reign in the Qing Dynasty.

"How's it going?" Hengfa was about to get anxious because Zhou Zhi was studying the printed title pages of several paintings in detail: "At least give me a message..."

Zhou Zhi pointed to the page with the Long Live Emperor tablet: "That's it! This one is stamped."

"That means we have found it?" Hengfa was so excited that his hands were shaking and tears were about to come out of his eyes: "Have we found the Dragon Hidden Sutra?"

"Wait a minute!" This time it was Mr. Qiao's turn to raise his hand: "Isn't the full name of the "Dragon Hidden Sutra" the "Qianlong Edition of the Tripitaka"? Why is it that the title page of this sutra says 'The Thirteenth Year of Yongzheng's reign in the Qing Dynasty'?"

"Because this is a huge cultural project, it started in the Kangxi year, passed through Yongzheng, and was not completed until the Qianlong Dynasty. After that, a total of one hundred volumes were printed, so it was called the "Qianlong Edition of the Tripitaka."

"Then..." Heng Fa was confused by the two little ones: "Did we find it or not?"

Zhou Zhi laughed: "Kung Fu pays off! Found it! Master Hengfa, this is the Longzang Sutra that has been lost for decades in Fawang Temple!"
