Chapter 8 The First Pot of Gold(1/2)

Lu Huaian was nervous all the way and was very cautious when he got out of the car.

He actually didn't have much stuff, and many of the people behind him had big and small bags, wishing they could carry all their belongings on their backs.

So when we get off the bus, those with less stuff get off first.

Zhou Lecheng was supposed to be the first, but Lu Huaian stopped him: "I go first."

Uncle Qian's expression softened, he glanced at him appreciatively, and pulled Zhou Lecheng's hand: "That's right, let Brother Lu get off the bus first."

Lu Huaian got out of the car with the bag on his shoulder, stood still, put the things at his feet, and turned to look at Zhou Lecheng.

"Walk."

Uncle Qian was carrying something, and Lu Huaian quickly went to pick it up.

"I'm fine." Uncle Qian gave way and pushed Zhou Lecheng: "Come over there, there are many people here."

There are indeed a lot of people at the station, mainly a mixture of good and bad, and all kinds of people.

Cars are also parked in a chaotic manner, and crowding is common.

The two people looked after each other, wrapping Zhou Lecheng in the middle, and walked out carefully.

There were too many people, and someone bumped into me from time to time.

Children were crying, adults were shouting, and there were shouts in the distance.

Lu Huaian had a headache from the noise, but he still tried his best to clear the way outside the station.

Halfway there, suddenly, my hand was empty.

"There is a thief!" Zhou Ancheng stopped, turned to look at the back of a figure on the side: "He stole my bag!"

He was obviously a weak scholar, but he didn't know where he got the energy to throw away Uncle Qian, and ran forward like crazy against the crowd.

"Ah, is there a thief?"

"Where is it, oh my stuff..."

Lu Huaian no longer cared about his own chestnuts, and he chased after him desperately.

There were too many people, and Uncle Qian didn't know if he could keep up.

Fortunately, he was always vigilant and reacted fairly quickly, so he could barely see the back of Zhou Ancheng's head.

But it felt too bad to go against the crowd like this. He was bumped by someone's elbow a few times, and he was so painful that he couldn't even scream.

"Give way……"

He numbly dug into various gaps.

After finally chasing him out, he saw from a distance that Zhou Ancheng had crossed the street.

There weren't many cars these days, so Lu Huaian ran over and caught him in front of the alley.

"Who!?" Zhou Ancheng's face was covered in sweat, and he was panting and staggered.

Turning around, he saw Lu Huaian, with a trace of joy on his anxious face, pointing to the alley and shouting: "He just went in! I saw him dragging my bag!"

The alley is very long, with houses on both sides, and the light is very dark.

Lu Huaian hesitated for a second, then pushed him to the side: "Wait a minute, I'll go in and take a look."

It wasn't that he was brave, but he was afraid that this stupid green-headed man would break in.

Fortunately, although Zhou Ancheng was impatient, he was not stupid and nodded honestly and stood aside.

Lu Huaian looked around and touched a stone.

He tiptoed and walked in carefully.

It was already noon, when the sun was at its strongest, but the two houses were so close that no light could penetrate into the alley.

He stood at the corner and looked in through the dim light.

A figure stood against the wall, with Zhou Ancheng's bag at his feet and a faint light in his hand.

He seemed a little anxious and was knocking on the door: "Old Gao, Lao Gao, open the door quickly and get the guy!"

Lu Huaian only hesitated for a second, then turned around and left when he heard the sound of the door opening.

Seeing him coming out, Zhou Ancheng came up to him with a smile and looked around at him: "Brother Lu..."

"Walk!"

Lu Huaian pulled him and ran away without even a moment's pause.

If his guess was correct, then Zhou Ancheng should have plunged into the alley so stupidly.

Several years passed and no bones were left.

"No!" Zhou Ancheng wanted to run back: "My bag!"

"Follow me!" Lu Huaian couldn't hold him back. He was so angry that he slapped him hard and shouted: "What bag is more important than your life!"

Zhou Ancheng was stunned, covering his face and being dragged back by him.

After crossing the road, I remembered to resist: "I, my letter of introduction is inside! And my book..."

"It's just a letter of introduction, just write another one! The man inside has a knife, you don't want your life!?"

The two were arguing when Uncle Qian rushed over, followed by someone.

"Who told you to run away!" Uncle Qian was furious. He gave Zhou Ancheng a slap before turning to look at Lu Huaian: "Huaian, what's going on? Tell me."

Lu Huaian glanced at the alley and told the story in a concise and concise manner.

Hearing that the person inside had a knife and Zhou Ancheng wanted to run inside, Uncle Qian was startled, angry and anxious, and slapped him twice: "You are so careless, what will happen to me if something happens to you?"

Explain to your family!"

As there were more people, they became more courageous. Each of them took some stuff and walked into the alley together.

Lu Huaian was carrying a wooden stick and followed Uncle Qian.

Behind him was the mumbling Zhou Ancheng, still muttering that it was a pity that he didn't catch anyone.

The alley is not too deep, and after walking for a while, you will see a closed wall. The two houses are staggered, and a door is opened on the left, leading to the alley on the other side.

After seeing the door, Lu Huaian tightened his grip on the stick and nodded towards Uncle Qian.

Uncle Qian understood and threw a stone at him.

The lock opened with a sound and clinked to the ground.

Lu Huaian took a stick and poked it from a distance, and the wooden door opened with a creak.

There is another alley on the other side, leading to another street.

People were coming and going, but the alley separated by a wall was very quiet.

"Ah!" But it was Zhou Lecheng who stuck his head out and was frightened by something on the wall and staggered back.

Lu Huaian took a closer look and was stunned: "This is..."

After making sure there was no one else around, Uncle Qian decisively opened the torn newspaper that was hastily covered on top.

A shiny kitchen knife.

Zhou Lecheng remembered that he had to chase into the alley before. If Lu Huaian hadn't arrived in time...

This time, his face turned pale with fright.

"You know you're afraid?" Uncle Qian glared at him angrily and picked up the kitchen knife: "Okay, I've already run away. Don't think about your letter of introduction. I'll go home again tomorrow and get it for you.

That’s it, don’t go anywhere, just stay in school, got it?”

"Okay, okay." Zhou Lecheng had never seen this battle before, so he thought it was just a thief, but he didn't expect that they also brought knives.

Lu Huaian looked at the kitchen knife, and his heart sank heavily.

If he hadn't followed, if...

Looking at Zhou Lecheng, who was just a little scared and didn't know that he had already passed through the gate of hell, he sighed in his heart.

Anyway, it can be regarded as repaying Uncle Zhou's kindness for helping him.

Uncle Qian put away the kitchen knife and decided not to stay here any longer: "Let's go back."

Fortunately, Uncle Qian acted steadily and let the ticket inspector keep an eye on everything. The person next to him was also a station staff member.

Knowing that they had lost something, a large crowd gathered at the station.

Uncle Qian went over to talk to them, but Lu Huaian did not follow him.

Zhou Lecheng came over from Uncle Qian and stuffed something into his hand: "Here, eat the buns!"

These two steamed buns are considered lunch.

Lu Huaian took it and took a few bites, without even bothering to taste the taste. His heart was full of the bag.

When he finally got his bag back, he immediately reached out and touched it.

The situation was urgent at that time, so he didn't care too much, just threw it away and ran away.
To be continued...
