Chapter 1 Change
After finishing a semester of schoolwork, Aida Maki left the campus and returned to her home in Osaka to spend this summer with her family.
Since the Sapporo University where she was studying is far away from home and it took more than ten hours to take the Shinkansen, Maki applied for a graduate dormitory at the beginning of her enrollment and lived with three other girls in law.
Apart from holidays, Maki Aida rarely goes home.
Because he was busy with exams before the end of the semester, Maki only spoke to his home by phone a week ago. His mother also said that she would prepare some dishes she liked in advance. When Maki came back, the family would travel to Hokkaido.
Unlike before, at 9 o'clock in the evening, Maki walked into the yard with her luggage and found that her living room and the second floor were always pitch black.
"Dad, mom, I'm back."
The moment he opened the door, Maki immediately covered his nose.
In the hot summer, the house is extremely stuffy and the air conditioner is not turned on.
There was a disgusting smell in the living room, as if some meat was rotten due to the high temperature and emitted a strange stench.
The house was silent, and at the door, all kinds of shoes were scattered in the entrance hall.
Maki shouted loudly at her parents and called her sister's name a few more times, but no one responded to her.
Intuition tells Maki that something must have happened at home.
She touched the switch beside the wall and wanted to turn on the lights at home. After many attempts but failed, she turned to the outside of the yard and found the meter on the wall, only then she found that the circuit had been burned out.
In desperation, Maki had to turn on his phone, use the lights as lighting equipment, and return home.
The living room floor was full of sticky stains, the food on the table had already deteriorated, and a layer of white maggots floated on the surface of the soy sauce; the rotten mackerel sashimi exuded a fishy smell, attracting many green-headed flies.
Maki endured the disgust and searched around the living room, but never found her parents.
While looking for someone, Maki discovered that the source of the odor seemed to be the refrigerator in his own kitchen...
Due to the power outage, the food stored in the refrigerator had already rotted. Maki opened the refrigerator and, in addition to some meat, she also found several huge black plastic bags.
One of the bags was not tied tightly. Through the open bag, Maki saw a piece of flesh with black hair and red and yellow visceral tissue.
"Ahhhh!"
Maki screamed and took a few steps back, then she felt a crisp sound coming from her feet.
She looked down and found her father's black frame in a pool of sticky blood.
Realizing that he had encountered an accident at home, Maki immediately called the police and told the police what he had seen.
The receptionist promised to arrive as soon as possible within fifteen minutes. She warned Maki on the other end of the phone that she did not know if there were murderers hidden in her home, and hoped that she could leave the house as soon as possible and find a safe place to wait for the police news.
Maki stumbled out of the kitchen. Just as she was about to leave, she suddenly heard the screams of her sister Kana from the bedroom on the second floor.
Fearing that his sister was in danger, Maki took a knife from the kitchen without hesitation and rushed to the second floor as fast as possible.
The bedroom door was closed and there was a stinky smell in the room.
Maki pushed the door and walked into the house while calling out his sister's name.
As the door was opened, Maki heard a sound similar to the tape being torn.
She shone the lights into the house, but was shocked to find that her sister's house was in a mess, with spoiled food everywhere. The poster of the idol that her sister used to regard as a treasure was locked off, and various talismans and evil-repelling props were posted on the wall.
Whether it is the mobile doors or windows on the balcony, they are covered with thick newspapers; while all the gaps, wardrobes, and even drawers are covered with black glue strips.
"Don't come over...Don't take me away..."
At this moment, Kana, with a disheveled face, was holding her head and curled up in the corner of the wall. Her body exuded an unpleasant smell, her clothes were covered with yellow-brown stains, and her hair was tied into strands because she hadn't washed for a long time.
Maki looked at the dirty girl in front of her incredible way, and it was really hard to connect her with the beautiful sister she used to love.
"Kanai, what happened? Where did mom go?"
Maki rushed forward and grabbed her sister's shoulder.
However, no matter how she asked, Kana kept her head down and murmured and repeated several puzzling words.
Maki discovered that her sister seemed to be greatly stimulated. She was particularly afraid of the light. Even the light on the mobile phone screen would make her scream hysterically.
"No, Kana. You have to leave with me, it's very dangerous here now."
As an older sister, Maki set an example at this critical moment. She held her sister's hand and wanted to force the other party out of the house.
However, the thin Kana got some strength from somewhere, and actually threw Maki away and pushed her to the wardrobe.
"No, you will be taken away and killed!!!"
"Ahhhhh! It saw me!!! I don't want to go back, don't come over!!!"
Kana widened her eyes, the muscles on her face twitched violently, and her expression became particularly twisted because of the roar. After saying this, she got into the quilt again, curled up in the corner with her head in her arms, and repeated the same words mechanically.
"I'm sorry, sorry, forgive me..."
Maki picked up the cell phone that fell to the ground and looked at her sister's crazy appearance. She was helpless and wanted to call her neighbor who lived next door for help.
But she didn't notice that the tape on the cabinet door loosened during the collision just now, and part of the tape stuck to Maki's back. As she stood up, the door of the wardrobe was slowly opened.
"thump"
A heavy object fell from the cabinet and fell at Maki's feet.
The moment he saw that thing clearly, Maki screamed in a collapse.
The missing mother Yumiko was brutally killed at some point. Her body was wrapped in a huge plastic bag and her body was soaked with blood.
Due to the exhaustion of the air, the plastic was tightly attached to the skin of the corpse. Maki could even clearly see her mother's expression: her messy black hair mixed with blood stuck to her mother's face. She rolled her eyes and her mouth opened to an almost incredible level, as if she had seen something extremely terrifying when she was dying.
After discovering that his mother was killed, Maki climbed to the edge of the bed with both hands and feet and pulled her sister off the bed with force.
My intuition told her that something was wrong in this room and I had to leave quickly!
But at this moment, Kana suddenly screamed and pointed behind her.
The moment he turned around, Maki found that his mother, who was originally sealed in a vacuum bag, stood up quietly at some point.
My mother's bloody face had a strange smile on her face, but her gentle eyes, which had become full of resentment. She was staring at herself tightly... and Kana behind her.
In a vague way, Maki seemed to hear the sound of the drawer being opened.
The mother's figure disappeared instantly. Amid the screams of her sister, Maki clearly saw a pair of pale hands slowly stretching out from under the dressing table.
The hands grabbed Kana's hair and pulled her directly into the drawer.
Maki rushed over like crazy, but lost.
My sister just disappeared...
The drawer was empty, and in the mezzanine in the corner, Maki found a student ID that looked old.
The photo on the upper right corner is no longer visible. Maki wiped the stains on the surface and barely recognized the words on the student ID:
