Chapter 1336 Defection(2/2)

After the army's morale is stabilized, the military camps will be rectified and the defense areas will be exchanged.

The guard system of Luoyang City is divided into three parts. One is the Northern Ya Imperial Guard. The Northern Ya Imperial Guard is a standing army, known as the Emperor Yuan Cong. It has been expanding over the years. Now it is not only the guard palace, but also guards the North Gate. It is now also defending the Xijing Chang'an, as well as Tongguan, Puyin, Heyang, Wulao and other important towns outside the capital.

He even rotates border town defense and participates in combat missions.

The Northern Imperial Army was also rotated to Luoyang to serve as guards and other tasks, but among them, the left and right sects, the left and right Qianniu and the left and right Jinwu are also called the inner imperial guards, because they each have their own tasks, such as the left and right sects, the left and right sects must be responsible for the guards' entourage, and the left and right Jinwu must be in charge of the public security of the outer city streets of Chang'an and the door defense of the outer nine gates.

The Southern Yamen is also divided into inner palace soldiers and outer palace soldiers. The inner palace soldiers are three guards and five guards, and the three guards are the three guards. Among them, the left and right guards are one guard in the personal guards, two guards are the Xunwei Mansion and two guards, and the other ten guards are each in charge of one guard. Therefore, there are actually a total of twenty guards in the Southern Yamen, all of which are under the command of the General of the Guards and are led by the General of the Central Army.

The foreign troops led by the guards are naturally Zhuzhechong Prefecture outside the capital. Now there are about 800 Zhechong Prefectures across the country, with a total of about 800,000 Zhechong Prefectures.

These foreign soldiers took turns to the Beijing guards, to the border towns, to the military palaces on duty, etc.

According to the system since Zhenguan, the outer soldiers of the twelve guards maintained the number of 3,000 soldiers per guard in the capital, so there were actually 36,000 soldiers in the capital.

These 36,000 people went to the Beijing ban, rotated regularly, and maintained this number and scale. They were led by the General of the Central Army of the Guards and stationed in various suburbs of Beijing, with 3,000 people in each guard and three battalions.

Therefore, the permanent guard guards in the capital are actually the 36th battalion of the outer government troops of the Southern Ya stationed in the suburbs of Beijing, the 20th battalion of the inner palace stationed outside the four cities, and some of them held the task of guards in the palace.

The troops of the Northern Yamen were responsible for guarding important places in the capital, and the internal imperial guards were responsible for palace guards, city defense and guards.

Among them, the foreign imperial guards were also responsible for permanent residence in the north gate, that is, outside the Xuanwu Gate, mainly including the Hundred Cavalry Camp, the Thousand Cavalry Camp, the Flying Cavalry Camp, the Shenji Camp, the Yulin Lang Camp, etc.

In general, this system has been around for nearly 30 years, and its effect is still good. The north and south yamen are balanced, and the internal guards are restrained and monitored each other.
