Chapter 1823 : A happy family
Jinling is known as the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, which refers to the capital of Wu, Eastern Jin, Song, Qi, Liang and Chen successively established its capital in Jiankang (Wu is called Jianye, now Nanjing, Jiangsu). It is named after Xu Song, a native of the Tang Dynasty, recorded these six dynasties in the book "Jiankang Records". Sima Guang of the Northern Song Dynasty wrote "Zizhi Tongjian" to use these Six Dynasties as the orthodox chronicle. Later generations called these six dynasties together, known in history as the Six Dynasties. The Six Dynasties also referred to the Northern Dynasties and Six Dynasties. The Three Kingdoms Wei, Western Jin, Northern Wei, Northern Qi, Northern Zhou and Sui all established their capitals in the north, and were also collectively called the Six Dynasties. This is a general term for the three kingdoms to the Sui Dynasty to unify the Three Kingdoms and the Sui Dynasty.
As the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, Jinling formed its own unique folk culture. This culture is reflected in the festival. On the fifth day of the fifth month of the summer calendar in Jinling City, it is called Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Dragon Boat Festival. On this day, Nanjing people like to eat rice dumplings, mung bean cakes, and the "fried five poisons" (using silver fish, shrimps, water vegetables, leeks, black dry mixed stir-fry), amaranth and realgar soybeans, and drinking realgar calamus wine to avoid disasters. Washing eyes with exposed water is called "fire eyes", which is said to avoid eye diseases for a year. Also, calamus and mugwort leaves dipped in water and sprinkled in the ground and then inserted into the door lintel to "defend disasters". After Zhu Yuanzhang and Yingtian ascended the throne, the Qinhuai River was vigorously rectified, changing water regularly to add a pleasure boat, and the scenery was pleasant. At night, thousands of houses on both sides of the Qinhuai River were lit up, colorful and colorful. Tourists were in the cruise ship, the boat passed by the scenery, and people walked in the painting, and they had their own unique interests.
The fifth day of the first lunar month is a very important day. On this day, garbage that has been kept in a dustpan for many days can be found everywhere. People are waiting for the midnight period. When the midnight period arrives, the sound of firecrackers sounds everywhere, and sometimes even surpasses New Year's Eve. On this day, in the old customs of Nanjing, the Confucius Temple began to light up, and all kinds of lights, large and small lotus lanterns, pineapple lanterns, zodiac lanterns, etc. are lit up.
On the ninth day of the ninth month of the Xia calendar, the month and day are both yang numbers, so it is called Chongyang. In history, people from Nanjing went out to climb high on this day, forming a "climbing meeting". This custom originated from a strange and bizarre legend of warding off evil, which is detailed in "Xu Qixie Ji" written by Wu Jun, a Liang native of the Southern Dynasty. From the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties to the Ming and Qing Dynasties, the custom of Chongyang in Jiankang was still prosperous. At that time, they lived in the south of the city to climb Yuhuatai, climbed the Beiji Pavilion in the city, and climbed the Mufu Mountain in the north, especially Mufu Mountain.
The Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15th is also known as the August Festival in the south of the Yangtze River. On this night, the moon is full in the sky and the moon on earth is full. Even if you are outside the country, you have to rush home to reunite. People in Nanjing like to enjoy the moon together, which is called "Celebrate Reunion". Sitting and drinking together is called "Full Moon", and going out to the street market is called "Walking Moon". In the early Ming Dynasty, there were Moon Tower and Moon Bridge, which were all places for tourists to enjoy the moon, and the Moon Bridge was the most prosperous. The Moon Bridge was located in the Confucius Temple in Qinhuai and Henan, and was the old courtyard.
The wind is still strong in the earth. People worship the moon, display fresh fruits and moon cakes, ignite the incense of Douxiang (the fragrance is like a tower, with paper buckets on it, called Douxiang), tell the story of Chang'e flying to the moon, and then share the moon cakes. The moon cakes are "Laiyue" in Guawa. Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival on August 15th. Xiao Yun did not want to join in the fun on the overpass, but his family went to Qixia Mountain. Qixia Mountain in late autumn is full of red leaves, like a beautiful picture.
Xiao Yun came here specifically to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival because it was rare that the whole family was here, and it was another festival. The family was very happy. There was a Xiao family villa at the foot of Qixia Mountain. Xie Lanlan bought it three years ago. She liked the scenery here. After telling Xiao Yun, Xiao Yun also wanted to have a temporary villa, which would also make it convenient for the family to relax. So he agreed to buy it. For three years, Xie Lanlan has been sent to take care of it. The whole villa has not been big, and it is rare to have a yard surrounded by towering maple trees. As the autumn comes, the leaves of the maple fragrance gradually turn from green to red, and the forests are dyed. The yard is gorgeous red, but some autumn colors are also licked out of thin air. I don’t know who raised a few hens in the yard. The newly hatched chickens are fluffy, and with the fire-like maple leaves, a beautiful picture of a farmhouse and mountain residence is presented.
