219, Endoscopic surgery through natural orifice

The bald man walked out of the interview conference room with an extra handkerchief in his hand and wiped the sweat off his face. His expression looked much more relaxed than when he entered.

The interviewers at the door were all surprised. Seeing that the bald man was so nervous that his movements were stiff before, they all thought that this guy was useless. But they didn't expect that now he seemed to have done a good job in the interview?

As soon as the bald man came out, the other interviewers surrounded him and wanted to ask him some useful interview tips.

Su Jie did not follow him, but looked at the closed door of the interview conference hall.

The next second, the door opened. The female teacher with black-rimmed glasses stretched out her head and glanced around the door. After seeing Su Jie's face, she shouted loudly: "Examinee No. 13 Su Jie, come in."

"OK."

Su Jie stood up, took the information and walked in.

A long table divides the entire room.

Opposite the long table were three examiners with serious expressions.

On the side of the long table is a lone high stool.

Compared with the previous bald man, Su Jie was not under so much pressure, so naturally he was not so nervous. He adjusted his breathing rhythm slightly, quickly adapted to the high pressure in the room, and then stepped up

In front of the footstool, sit down.

"Hello teachers, I am Su Jie, candidate No. 13."

With a confident and natural opening statement, unswerving eyes, and a very empathetic appearance, the expressions of the three examiners in front of me relaxed slightly after just one meeting.

"Is there a mistake? This interviewer is too young. He should be from tomorrow's batch." The male examiner on the left asked doubtfully.

"That's right, he got the recommendation letter from Mr. Wei. He is now in his fifth year and is interning at Southeast Hospital. He is also considered a special clinical admissions student." The female examiner on the right looked through Su Jie's information and said.

The three examiners couldn't help but raise their eyebrows. Looking at the very relaxed young man in front of them, they always had a strange feeling in their hearts.

But then I thought about it, after all, this is the first Southeast University direct interview, and there will definitely be many weird loopholes. These problems still need them to sum up their experience and continuously improve them.

Of course, this first live interview, which was full of loopholes and surprises, did give many talents a chance to show themselves. They were usually bound by rigid rules, but they were able to shine in this live interview.

Unique shining point.

The examiner named Zhu sitting in the middle of the long table asked: "Are you still an intern?"

"Yes, Teacher Zhu."

"Um?"

Teacher Zhu was stunned and asked: "Do you know me?"

Su Jie pointed to several thick books placed in front of Teacher Zhu and said, "It has your signature on it."

Teacher Zhu lowered his head and saw that, as Su Jie said, his name was written on the paper he casually placed on the table.

Zhu Xuyang.

The signature is flamboyant and the fonts are elegant and free. In fact, it is easy to notice it when sitting opposite. However, in fact, the twelve interviewers in front of me were too nervous and did not see this signature at all.

Addressing someone is actually a very important means of bringing them closer together.

Calling him examiner and calling him teacher Zhu refer to the same person, but they give each other completely different feelings. More importantly, Su Jie's way of obtaining information is because of his meticulous observation, which makes Teacher Zhu even more interested in him.

I was amazed.

"Your name is Su Jie, right?" Teacher Zhu confirmed Su Jie's name again out of politeness.

"Yes, you can just call me Xiao Su." Su Jie replied humbly.

"Well, Xiao Su, you are still an intern, why do you want to take the Ph.D. exam?" Teacher Zhu sat up straight and started to ask questions.

"Because I decided to work as a clinician in the future, and if I want to be a good doctor, a doctoral degree is very important." Su Jie replied.

"Aren't you afraid that we will think it is too utilitarian when you say this? Let me remind you that many of the first twelve interviewees expressed their hope to make more contributions to medical research and to further their education..."

"But this is what I really think. I am still practicing, and the most important thing right now is to be a good doctor in the future. Of course, if I really work in clinical practice for a period of time in the future, maybe my thoughts will change and I will be the same as the previous teachers.

, ambitious."

Ambitious?

The three examiners looked at each other with amusement in their eyes.

What is this child talking about? What kind of ambition is this? At best, it can barely be considered as flattering.

Most of the twelve previous interviewees had the same ideas as Su Jie, but they had stayed in clinical practice for a long time, and they knew better how to hide their true purpose, learned to use high-end packaging to beautify themselves, and believed it to be true.

"A very honest kid."

"It is indeed much simpler than those old guys who have been in the clinic for a long time."

"I think it's pretty good."

After eating twelve dishes of meat that were so greasy to the stomach, they were suddenly replaced by a fresh vegetarian dish like Su Jie's. The three examiners all felt that they felt a lot more refreshed.

On the other hand, when people first come into contact with each other, it is easier to be accepted by others by maintaining a humble and simple attitude.

Acting too smart, proactive, and proud, trying to take the initiative in the first contact will always give people an inexplicable hostility and make them feel uncomfortable.

In fact, most of human perfection is aggressive and disguised, but simplicity and honesty are the magic weapon that can easily build relationships between people.

Su Jie's performance was not perfect, but he was authentic and allowed several interviewers to see his sincerity and straightforwardness.

"The information is very good. Although I am an intern, I have already started to participate in laparoscopic surgery. By the way, can an intern perform surgery?"

"Even intern doctors can be recommended to get direct doctorate. This young man is definitely not as ordinary as he said. He is a genius, and he is also a very humble genius."

"Mr. Zhu, you are a genius in laparoscopic surgery, and you also assisted in completing a combined laparoscopic cholecystitis and appendicitis surgery at the High-tech Branch. It seems that it meets your requirements better than the previous twelve candidates. Do you want to...

…Ask again?”

Teacher Zhu hesitated now.

The two examiners next to him looked at each other, leaned back slightly in tacit understanding, and whispered behind Teacher Zhu:

"Teacher Zhu likes this student very much."

"But isn't he not going to recruit students this year?"

"He is the best doctoral supervisor in our current class. It would be a pity not to recruit students."

"This year he is under too much pressure on his paper and does not have that much energy. But if he can answer that question, he should still have a chance."

"Teacher Zhu is hesitant now, probably because he is afraid that the child will not be able to answer. Then he is very confused whether to accept it or not."

After the two of them finished lip-syncing, they sat up straight and looked at Teacher Zhu who was in the midst of a battle between heaven and man. They both remained silent.

After a long time.

Teacher Zhu raised his head, looked at Su Jie, and asked the question that he had asked many times before:

"What do you think of NOTES technology? Has this technology been used clinically?"

Su Jie was stunned for a moment, then said: "Natural orifice endoscopic surgery?"

Then, without waiting for Teacher Zhu to answer, Su Jie suddenly thought of something again and asked excitedly:

"Mr. Zhu, are you familiar with this technology? There is a patient in the High-tech Campus who hopes to use minimally invasive methods to treat gallbladder stones. He is not satisfied with laparoscopic surgery. Natural orifice endoscopic surgery is very suitable for him.

!”

Teacher Zhu's eyes suddenly widened and he opened his mouth, but he couldn't say a word.
