Before I knew it, I had been to Qidian for more than a year. When I registered my account, I was in September last year. Of course, this refers to my own writing career. I remember that when I applied for a station, I was so excited... At that time, I didn't know about Qidian, but only knew that it was a big book station with many novels. There were many readers here and it looked more formal, so I decided to open a book here. After the application was submitted, I went to see if it had been approved from time to time. Haha, it was really interesting to think of my mood at that time! Because I had never published any text on the Internet before, so when I saw my application pass, I could imagine the excitement of my mood - because I thought that my words could be directly displayed in front of many readers.
First of all, I was a bookworm. When I was in junior high school, I read martial arts novels, mainly from Jin Yong, because I only had two thick pirated novels by Jin Yong at home, and it seemed that my brother borrowed them from somewhere. Anyway, it became my favorite.
I had a lot of homework in high school, but at that time, I was always a good student, but I never gave up reading novels and comics at the school gate, and I was even a little addicted to it. I remember that the most novels there were Ni Kuang's science fiction novels, and I basically read all those books, and Ni Kuang's imagination gave me a great impact. Later on, there were some books by Huang Yi and Wuji. I remember that the most impressive one was Huang Yi's "Interstellar Son".
My major is computers, so I had my own computer in my freshman year. Although it was just a master computer, I could barely make do with it when reading novels. Before I had no computer in college, I read novels online in the school library computer room. At that time, I learned that there were more novels on the Internet than physical serialization, which was undoubtedly great news for me. So I rushed into the ocean of online novels without hesitation...
Why did you think of writing novels? I can't remember this. In the past, I liked to write something. Although those things were just for myself, I was still interested in this aspect. After all, I read too many novels, so I naturally had this idea. Because at this time, I must have seen many wonderful novels and many novels that make you regret. At this time, I will subconsciously want to modify them. As I thought about it, a framework of my novel came out...
My first novel is "Artificial Life". This novel has been written three times, and it only started to be rewritten until 150,000 words each time. I will always know from readers of this novel. And I can also find several different versions on the Internet. The title of this book has also changed several times, such as "Song of Life", "Artificial Life of the Flying Dragon in the Sky", etc. (Pretty, haha!)
Since it was the first time to carry out such a large project, I didn't think clearly about it in many aspects. I was also very casual when typing, and took many detours (I just threw the protagonist into another world halfway through the first version, haha!) Later I changed the book, but I was still practicing writing, which is "The Road to Growth". At that time, I realized that I wanted to write something I was familiar with. Although my computer level was not very high at that time, it was still a little higher than those who were not computer majors, so I thought about it: I wrote a book that teaches everyone computer knowledge. However, the book was written at 150,000 words and found that my level was limited and I couldn't continue. At this time, I was still reluctant to let "Artificial Life" in my heart, so I started to rewrite it again.
The second "rewrite" was to make a major change in order to pass the "Sanjiang". During the new generation, the significance of Sanjiang was very important. He always regarded it as his goal, because at that time he thought that only this goal was closest to him and was the easiest to achieve. However, he was hit again and again and again, and was rejected every time... Hehe, fortunately, I was patient and I was not able to pass it until my book number expired.
Without Sanjiang means that there is no recommendation. I rely entirely on my own updates to go to the homepage. Due to the rewriting in the middle, the highest new book list was around 30th, and then it was off the list (the new book list was really intense at that time, 5555). Before I knew it, my number of words had reached 300,000, and at this time I had only collected more than 800. At that time, Qidian's collection was not on the same level as now. There is a saying in the author circle that if I collect it for 1,000, I can basically sign a VIP. I endured it, and finally reached more than 800, and I thought to myself: Haha, I'm finally going to make a comeback!
So, I excitedly sent an application text message to the author's section, saying that my collection has reached 1,000. In fact, it is 800, and I say it is 1,000. Hehe, I think these two numbers should be exactly the same. Anyway, I will reach 1,000 sooner or later. Maybe if an editor is vague and let me go, then I will also be a V author, but that has been improved by a higher level!
The idea was YY, but the result was cruel. After waiting for a few days uneasy, I received the rejected message. Although I was a little hit, I still didn't give up because I firmly believed that as long as I collected one thousand, I would definitely sign it. So I started waiting again, and the collection slowly increased... It finally reached one thousand! I started applying again, but this time I was a little smarter. After I sent the application, I directly found the QQ number of the God-Man Baojianfeng and added it. Then I asked him directly, saying that my collection had reached one thousand. I sent an application and wanted to ask if it was approved... After waiting for a while, Aunt Bao said that you wait first and you will give you a message. Later, my VIP application was approved, and I don't know which reason was.
Later I found out that those who signed VIPs were automatically brought to me when they were tens of thousands of words. There were very few people who signed the contract by myself like me. Thinking about it, I felt a little fever on my face!
With the first contracted work, the future books will be easier. In terms of signing, editors usually consider their previous achievements. Why are old authors easier to sign? I think the big reason is that they are stable and the chance of TJ is relatively small (relatively speaking, ^_^). Because old authors have been writing for so long and are still persisting, can't this tell the problem? Newcomers usually have an impulse to open new books, but it may be possible to hold on to this impulse. Every day, people join the Qidian, and some leave the Qidian, so if they want to sign a contract, editors always have to consider many aspects. Of course, this is the past and now, I don't know what the situation is. I am currently a resident of Mars.
"The Legend of Hackers" is still an idea that I had not completed before: to teach readers some computer knowledge. A book is a life, and a book always has its value. After reading the book for so long, although I cannot tell you exactly what gains I have gained, there are always some gains, which is certain. My idea at that time was that it could bring some knowledge to readers, but it did not lack the fun of novels. Such a book might be popular with everyone. So I spent a long time collecting and accumulating information.
Facts proved my own idea. After "The Hacker" came out, it received support from many readers. It can be said that it was smooth sailing. I didn't even worry about rushing to the list. It was completely pushed up by readers themselves. Although I failed to occupy the first place, I was already very satisfied.
Of course, my editor, Mr. Jingji, also plays a very important role. Although I am very dull and rarely slap his butt, he has always arranged a good recommendation position for me. Hehe... Here I would like to recommend Qidian "Old Good Man" editor, Mr. Jingji, warmly welcome everyone to join the first group of Qidian editors (the number of the author area is 1, 2)
Chapter completed!
