Chapter 8 The Three Passes Immortal Techniques Double Cultivation of Life

(Please collect, please recommend)

The Taoist cultivation system has three major steps, namely refining essence into qi, refining qi into spirit and refining spirit into emptiness. These three steps are also called the three-level immortal arts, which correspond to the first-level immortal arts, the middle-level immortal arts and the upper-level immortal arts. Practicing and becoming an immortal is also called passing the three-level immortal arts. After practicing the three-level immortal arts, you can become a land god and live forever from then on.

After the first level of immortal art is completed, one can cultivate a golden elixir, refine magic power, and increase life by 300 years. This level of cultivation has completely separated from the scope of human beings, but it is not a true immortal, so it is called a semi-immortal.

When Liu Yuanfeng was on Earth in his previous life, he had reached this state. Moreover, although he was twenty-six years old in his previous life, he did not reach this state until he was twenty-six years old. He had already achieved great success in the golden elixir and became a half-immortal. He was a peerless figure and had never surpassed his previous state in the past century.

The cultivation of Zhongguan Immortal Art is to cultivate the soul and live for a thousand years. This level of cultivation is already an immortal among humans, so it is called a human immortal. His parents and that master in his previous life were both human immortal cultivation level.

The cultivation of the immortal art of the Shangguan is to refine the spirit and return to the emptiness. The soul lies in the emptiness and can turn into nothingness. Even if the world is destroyed and the universe is not present, it can go through tribulation and be destroyed and regenerate from the emptiness. This real real land god is called the earth immortal.

But the earth immortal is not completely immortal. If you practice becoming an earth immortal, you will be envied by the heaven and earth. Every five hundred years, you will suffer from disasters. There are three disasters in total, called three disasters and disasters. If you cannot get over, you will be eliminated by your body and death. If you can pass, you will be a true god. From then on, you can jump out of the three realms, not in the five elements, nor be bound by the heaven and earth. You can be called a celestial immortal.

This is the division of the cultivation system realm of his previous life on Earth. However, because the quality of the heaven and earth energy on Earth in his previous life continued to decline and the spiritual energy was scarce, by the time he was born, it was already called the Dharma-Ending Age, and the cultivation of the human immortal level was considered to be the top in the world. For thousands of years, few people can cultivate to earth immortals, let alone celestial immortals.

Moreover, the overall number of cultivators has also been greatly reduced. In addition, few people in his modern world believe in these things anymore. Not to mention practicing Taoism and becoming an immortal, many people don’t believe in martial arts anymore, thinking that they are all flirting and embroidering skills. They don’t believe that there are powerful martial arts that can fly over the eaves and walls, and can blow a car with one punch.

Unlike the world where he is now, he regards martial arts as his prestige and his martial arts style is very prosperous. Even the fool Liu Yuanfeng doesn’t know much and knows very little, and he can have this understanding. He knows that there are many martial arts masters in his family, and many servants also practice martial arts every day when they have time. Moreover, his father Liu Polu is also a martial arts master, and he is very not weak.

As for how powerful it is, the original fool has no clear understanding. He only knows that flying around the eaves and walls is no problem. Moreover, the world's cultivation system, level division, realm level, etc., this fool doesn't know anything about it, and can only leave it to him to re-understand and inquire.

He didn't know anything about the original body, and he couldn't compare the cultivation systems of the two worlds, so he could only understand them before making any decisions. However, after he tried the "Surprising Dragon Method" at this time, he found that he could still practice successfully again, which made him breathe a sigh of relief.

The memory of his previous life has not been lost, and the skills and experience he practiced in his previous life have not been lost. This is a great blessing for him to feel that he is currently in misfortune. So what he is most worried about is that he is afraid that he will be limited to the rules of the world and different cultivation systems. He cannot practice these skills in his previous life in the current world, and he will not be able to practice them, which is very bad.

Fortunately, his trial had no effect, and he couldn't help but feel that it was a great blessing in disgrace.

Among the three levels of immortal arts on Earth in the previous life, refining essence into qi, refining qi into spirit and refining spirit into emptiness. In each stage, it is further divided into three steps, which can be counted as three small realms and small stages. Among them, refining essence into qi is divided into three small realms: acquired qi refining, innate qi and great success of golden elixir.

Now that he has lost all his cultivation, he can only start from the beginning and the most basic acquired Qi training.

The entire acquired Qi refining can be included in the scope of martial arts. The cultivation at this stage is not much different from that of a warrior. Even the innate Qi-induced stage can still be considered within the martial arts realm and is a congenital martial artist. However, the innate is already the basis for entering the Tao and has the qualifications to ask about Tao. However, only by reaching the Golden Elixir Realm can you truly enter the Tao with martial arts, transcend the world, and embark on the path of practicing Taoism and becoming an immortal.

In his previous life, his parents used martial arts to enter the Tao. At first, they were pure martial arts practiced by martial arts. Therefore, he also knew very well about using martial arts to enter the Tao. Moreover, although he had a master who practiced Taoism, he also learned the main skills of both schools and had learned a lot of martial arts from his parents. Moreover, in the acquired Qi refining stage, even if the cultivator fights against the enemy, he basically relied on martial arts. It is difficult to gain an absolute advantage in fighting against ordinary martial arts. Only when he reaches the innate realm can the gap be revealed.

Moreover, most of the martial arts on Earth in the previous life were rarely able to enter the innate realm. Unlike Taoism, they are basically equipped with three levels of immortal arts, and have stronger and more complete skills. This is the advantage. After his parents practiced at the innate realm in the previous life, if they had not obtained the opportunity and were guided by a master, it would be difficult for them to enter the Taoist martial arts and practice to the end of becoming a human immortal.

The human body has three treasures, which are essence, energy, and spirit.

Refining essence into qi means refining all the essence in the body into qi. This qi is not the breathing qi, but the internal qi, the true qi, which is a more powerful energy.

What is essence is the energy of the human body, the nutrients and essences consumed and absorbed from daily food, and the energy that maintains the consumption and prolongs life of the human body. The so-called "people are iron, and rice is steel". If you don't eat, your body will be weak and weak, and eventually the essence in your body will be consumed and die.

Refining essence into qi means refining the body into a higher energy, that is, qi. This qi is internal qi, which can also be called internal strength. Martial arts practice are also cultivating internal strength. The stronger the internal strength and the deeper the skill, the more powerful the martial arts they can perform.

The essence in the body exists in all the meridians in the human body, and is transported from meridians throughout the body to all parts of the body. The so-called opening of meridians in martial arts is a process of refining the essence in the body and refining essence into qi. Every time one meridian is refined, the skill can be increased. The so-called opening of meridians does not simply literally clear the meridians. Because meridians are originally open, if not, how can the essence in the body flow and transport to all parts of the body. The source of essence in the body, the sea of essence, is the dantian connecting all meridians, that is, the lower dantian three inches below the navel.

How to refine essence into qi, here we need to use the spirit, which is the spiritual mind of human beings. In Taoist theory, spirit is often used to refer to fire, and essence is water. Refining essence into qi means refining with fire entering water, and this fire is the fire transformed by the mind of the spirit. Why is refining essence into qi the next word "fire", not another one, which refers to this.

The method of hibernating the dragon method to collect the spirit and hide the dantian under the dantian refers to the savage that uses the spirit to enter the dantian of the sea of essence.

The secret says: "The dragon returns to the Yuanhai, and the yang is hidden in the Yin." These two sentences also mean this. The dragon here refers to the god, and the Yuanhai naturally refers to the dantian. The dantian is originally the sea of essence. And the yang is hidden in the Yin, which is the same. Since the spirit is fire, it is naturally yang, and the essence belongs to water, and it is naturally yin. Therefore, the dragon returns to the Yuanhai, and the yang is hidden in the Yin, which are all methods to refine essence and transform qi.

The following "Man calls him the dragon, and I call him the heart" is the method of refining the heart and also the method of refining the spirit.

The practice of Taoism emphasizes the dual cultivation of nature and life. Sexuality represents the spirit, soul, and life represents life and body. In other words, nature refers to the soul, spirit, and life refers to the body and body. The so-called dual cultivation of nature and life refers to the soul and soul and body that must be cultivated in order to finally attain enlightenment.

Although the Zhongguan Immortal Art can be completely separated from the physical body after the Yuanshen is completed, the physical body is very important before that. Because this is where the soul relies on the body and is the basis for the initial cultivation. Without a body, there is no way to be able to practice.

Even if Buddhism regards the flesh as a stinky skin and does not value it much, no one dares to give it up easily. Moreover, Buddhist practice often means transcending the other shore and crossing the sea of suffering by practicing practices. Therefore, there is a very vivid saying that the soul is like a practitioner, and the body is a boat. Only the boat can carry the practitioner through the sea of suffering in the world and transcend the other shore of perfect enlightenment. The stronger the boat, the farther it can go and cross. If the boat is not strong, it cannot be crossed. If the boat is destroyed, there is no boat to cross, and the practice will be destroyed. In the end, you will still sink into the sea of suffering and not be transcended.

Although Buddhism and Taoism have many differences in practice, they also have many similarities. In terms of dual cultivation of nature and life, they are the same. They both believe that the strength and cultivation of the body are also very important. We cannot only cultivate nature but not life.

But although it is true that both life and life are cultivated, there are different opinions in many Taoist schools about whether to cultivate nature first or life first, and there are different debates. Some believe that one should cultivate nature first and then life later, while others believe that one should cultivate oneself first and then nature, while others believe that one should advance together, and both should be cultivated together. This lineage of the ancestor Chen Tuan is the last one, and believes that both should be cultivated together.

The dual cultivation of life and life is also the initial difference between cultivating the truth and practicing martial arts. When a martial artist practices martial arts, he only practices his body at first, but only practices his life. Even without entering the innate world, it is difficult to get to the soul level. However, cultivators first understand everything, know that they need to practice both life and life, and also have methods to refine the mind and spirit and cultivate the power of the soul. The debate is just a matter of sequence.

The method of hibernating dragons by Chen Tuan is to cultivate both nature and life. The dragon returns to the Yuanhai, and the soul hides the dantian. It is both refining essence and qi, and it is also refining spirits in this process. Therefore, it is said that "people call hibernating dragons, and I call hibernating hearts."

The power cultivated by refining the spirit and training the soul is called spiritual power, which means the power of the soul. Spiritual power can control objects from the air and directly attack people's spirit and soul, which has various incredible and wonderful uses.

To put it in a modern way, it is equivalent to the kind of mental power in superpowers, which can move objects, control objects, and directly attack people with invisible mental power.

However, although the spiritual power is powerful, it has many wonderful uses and is even magical, it is very difficult to practice and has higher requirements for qualifications.

This is the debate about the dual cultivation of nature and life. Because it is difficult to cultivate nature first, many people will find it difficult to get started even in their entire lives. In the end, not to mention immortality, they will not get anything. Even cultivating nature consumes the mind and will lead to shorter life than others. Therefore, there is a proverb that "If you cultivate nature and not cultivate life, you will be in vain in the end."

If you first cultivate your life, you will be more universal. Once you reach the innate stage, you will naturally come into contact with the soul level and then change to cultivate your nature.
