Chapter 1,258 I cry to you from the abyss!(2/2)
His words made Mike think.
"I was so scared at the time. You said I couldn't face my parents' divorce. You were wrong, you were wrong!"
"Look at me now, I don't want to be scared anymore!"
"Let me think about it!" Mike was still thinking, still recalling who he was. He had too many patients.
But the boy started beating the door frame angrily: "I've been waiting for you for ten years, and I won't wait any longer!"
"Ben Feiken?..." Mike began to try to name each name...
"Some people call me a freak. I am indeed a freak. Look at me..." The boy cried and cried uncontrollably.
Finally Mike remembered who he was: "Vincent? Of course I remember you, quiet, smart, compassionate, very compassionate!"
"You forgot that I was also cursed, you gave up on me!" Vincent looked at him with tears.
"You gave up on me!" he said suddenly angrily.
"Vincent, I'm sorry that I didn't help you. Let me try again, if you can give me another chance!"
But Vincent responded by turning around, picking up the gun and pulling the trigger.
Mike gets shot, then Vincent takes the gun and puts it to his head!
As another gunshot rang out, the camera panned over to show Mike lying on the bed covering the area where he was shot.
Anna came forward crying...
The big screen went dark!
"Next autumn!"
Subtitles appear!
The streets are covered with yellow leaves, the fresh air after the heavy rain, and the strong British atmosphere can be felt through the screen. The psychiatrist Mike is sitting on a horizontal chair holding a medical record in his hand. This is the man who shot and injured
A former patient who then committed suicide, Vincent's medical records!
Suddenly he raised his head and looked at the door opposite. The door was opened, and the little boy Cole came out. He looked a little alert and cautious.
Mike opened another medical record, and what was written on it was the name and age of the little boy Cole, Cole Hill, 9 years old!
Parents are divorced, extremely anxious, withdrawn, and may be suffering from a mood disorder!

The audience immediately understood that this was his patient!
And he was a patient with very similar symptoms to Vincent!
The little boy closed the door, locked it, took out a pair of glasses from his bag and put them on.
Mike put the information in his bag, but when he looked up again, Cole had already run out of sight.
He quickly got up and followed him.
Cole hurriedly ran outside the church, opened the door, and got in.
In the church, Cole was squatting under a chair with a toy soldier muttering something.
Mike walked over and showed a kind smile: "Cole, don't be afraid, I am Dr. Mike!"
"We were supposed to meet today, but...I didn't make it! I'm sorry!"
Cole said nothing.
Mike asked him again: "I noticed your glasses don't have lenses!"
"This is my dad's! The lenses are uncomfortable!" Cole finally spoke.
"What did you just say to the toy soldier?" Mike was curious.
Cole spoke a string of Latin words and then told Mike, "It's Latin!"
Mike looked at Cole's arm and saw scratches on it.
"Do they all speak Latin?" Mike asked.
"No! There is only one! Are you a good doctor?" Cole asked.
"Yes!" Mike said and continued: "I used to! I got a certificate, which was awarded to me by the mayor!"
Cole put away the toy figures and turned to leave. Suddenly he turned to look at Mike: "I'll see you again, right?"
"if you do not mind!"
Cole turned around and left, but when he passed by the place where the statues were placed, he conveniently stole one!
There are parts of this paragraph that the audience can understand, but there are also parts that they cannot understand.
It is understandable that Mike felt deeply guilty because he had given up on Vincent earlier, so when he met a patient like Cole who had a similar condition to Mike, he would not give up this time.
But what I can't understand is Cole's behavior, which is obviously weird.
When Mike got home, there were only leftovers on the table and his wife had fallen asleep.
She had obviously cried and had a tissue in her hand.
Mike turned around and took out the key to open the basement door, went to the basement, and took out a Latin dictionary.
He found the Latin passage that Cole said before and translated it.
"O God, I cry to you from the abyss!"
This extremely weird statement made Mike a little confused. In fact, the audience in the cinema was also confused!
Why would a little boy say such a thing?
